[Q] MyLibrary not working - Eee Pad Transformer General

After upgrading the firmware, MyLibrary stopped working. Just closes up immediately when clicked. Anyone can help?
I have done reset, but problem still persists. Please help......

can someone help???

Me too
Just got my Transformer yesterday. I'm getting the same exact thing.

Same here ):

Me too. Asus probably ought to do a little more testing with their bundled apps before releasing an update (the Zinio issue should be embarassing to them). I guess when you clamor for a point update as quickly as possible, quirks like this are gonna happen. Hopefully Asus is just as quick at fixing them.

Mine was force closing this morning when I was without a wi-fi connection. Once I had a connection, the problem went away. Not sure if this is the same scenario as you but I thought I would mention it.

Mine works fine. With or without a connection.

Did anyone find the solution to this, mine also stop working. Cleaing cache doesn't help.

[Q] Launching native Kindle Fire apps results in "This application is not registered"
I've not found any other information on this here in the forums and only a few complaints of it so far when googling, so I wanted to bounce this around the forums to see if anyone had seen this and had a fix or any suggestions. I've got a Kindle Fire (running 6.1) that I was planning on rooting, but I wanted to play around with it a little first. Anytime I launch virtually any application except Silk, I get an error "This application is not registered. Please try again." Talked with tech support for several hours and they have so far been unable to fix it and are being difficult about replacing it. Went through a complete wipe and deregister and reregister as well as flashing to 6.1, then back to 6.0 with a wipe on the Kindle and no fix. Anyone have any thoughts or had anything similar with theirs?
just got a kindle today - same problem. No fix so far.. its damn frustrating. Just in-case I tried two different amazon accounts and guessing the problem is on the device itself.
Nice to hear I'm not the only one, though it's such a pain that there appears to be no fix. Half tempted on rooting it just to see if I can fix it myself, but it actually belongs to a friend and Amazon is refusing to honor the extended warranty if I root it, which I find ridiculous. If you get anything useful from Amazon's support that I haven't already gotten, let me know. Good luck on your end if I end up returning this paperweight.
ok, frustrated and running out of ideas, instead of using the same wifi connection i use for everything, I tethered it through my phone.
And out of nowhere ALL the problems went away. I put it back on the wifi and problems start happening again.
So if you can - try a different connection.
Ended up having my friend return it to Amazon (preordered through them) and they decided to get another from Best Buy. Three days later, their new one started having the same problems as the old one. Amazon still has no idea on the fix or what is actually happening and after the runaround and lack of answers from tech support, we've both given up. PM me if anyone sees anything else and perhaps I'll create a thread just for the answer if anyone does. Thread can be closed.

Netflix 1.6.0 video issue

The netflix app version 1.6.0 build 443 seems like it's having scaling issues. It'll play fine for a bit but then the lower third of the screen bugs out. I've searched the forums, but haven't found much information about it. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, have you got a line on what might be going on?
Hello,
I have experiencing the same issue. I called netfilx and they basically washed their hands and they reffered me to ACER (I have an Acer Iconia A500 tablet).
Acer said that this is the first time they heard about this issue and they are going to investigate further but since there are not many eports of it I am not sure what's goin to happen.
My solution at this point was to remove v1.6.0 and reinstall theolder version 1.5.2
Netflix is now working fine.
I found the file n152.apk at filesonic.com
Thanks for the heads up. I'll give 1.5.2 a try. I've already tried the patched version (from before netflix was available on the market) but I was prompted to update the app and prevented from signing in.
Incidentally, though I haven't watched much since doing it, I changed the video quality in my netflix account settings to "better" and haven't had the screen issue yet (I also wiped the app data afterward).
I had already wiped many times before trying to fix the issue, and the video quality change was to limit data use.
I've noticed this as well. I've seen reports of this happening on Transformers, Xooms and the Sony Tablet S in the Market app reviews. This is probably an issue with Honeycomb tablets in general. One thing I've noticed is that if I flip the rotation lock switch or adjust the volume, the video returns to normal (just a tip so you don't have to restart the video or anything).
I have that issue too...
Yup. Me too.
It will be going along fine, a scene will change and either:
1) seems like I only see 3/4 of the picture with the rest off screen
2) bottom third de rezzes / turns into scan lines and mush
..and a pause will reset it back to normal.
I too will try a previous version...We'll see what happens!
I've been having this issue since they released the update to 1.6.0 as well.
This morning I put in a call to Netflix to address this issue and another on WP7, the lady on the phone said she would report everything to R&D, and sounded rather happy that someone was reporting issues.
Hopefully all it takes is a few keystrokes and we will all have yet another update!

That's great, wokker. I did the same a few days back; maybe we'll get a fix soon. The issue happened on my brother's stock a500 as well as on my rooted and OC'd a500, so it does seem to be something that could be addressed on their end. I haven't reverted yet (no time since school is back in), but has anyone else had luck with v1.5.2?
possible fix that worked for me.
I had the same issue, thought it might be when the screen tries to time out so I set the Screen Time out to never and it seems to have stopped the problem.

Maps and Calendar are unforgivably buggy

Google Maps crashes to my home screen pretty regularly, and the stock Calendar app freezes up and has to be killed just as often. It's really a major problem for me, those are two main apps that I use and I need them to be stable.
Is there anything I can do to help this? I've seen it mentioned on this forum before about changing the build.prop, but I'm not sure if that's relevant here.
Any help is appreciated, and apologies if this has been covered elsewhere (but I did indeed search before posting).
Thanks in advance.
Try clearing the apps data, and doing a cold reboot. If that doesn't work try doing a factory reset. If that doesn't work I'm out of ideas. Never had any problems with those apps. Are you on the latest firmware?

A cold reboot seems to have helped for the time being, but I'll continue to put it through its paces. How often would you say that you cold boot your device? I know I've done it at least once or twice before, so this probably isn't a permanent solution to my problem unfortunately. Thanks for your suggestion, btw.
ive not used the calendar but maps works fine for me mate, im on .29 if that helps, could you uninstall them and get them back from google play???

Like I said I never had to do a cold reboot for those apps, and I have for some games. But, so far on 30 haven't had the need to.

Vegabean and Good For Enterprise

I am running Vegabean Beta 2.2 on an Advent Vega. It is very nice and stable, however not quite as responsive and suffers from screen oversensitivity a bit more than VegaCream RC2. No biggie however and kudos for the hard work guys.
My issue however is that Good For Enterprise tells me "Alert. Your phone network is off. Turn on your phone network then click ok", when I try to register with the code from my company. I think somehow Good thinks this is a phone or a tablet with 3g, even though it doesnt have 3g. Is there some setting in the firmware or drivers somewhere that needs to be changed to prevent Good from thinking it has 3g? I didn't have this problem with VegaComb and HoneyIce 3.2.6.
Any ideas?
:good:
Update: I have rolled back to VegaCream RC2 and getting same issue. Tablet thinks it has 3G. Does anyone know how to make Good work on this?
Not helpful in any way, but I've just upgraded my Nexus 7 to 4.2, and when I tried to open an email in Good it told me the message no longer exists. I uninstalled the app, and tried to reinstall it, however I now get the same issue as you.
I've emailed my account manager at Good to see what can be done.

I guess we'll have to wait.

[Q] WiFi issues on Nvidia tegra note 7

I just bought an Nvidia tegra note 7 and I'm having issues with the WiFi. The device's WiFi keeps getting disconnected. I noticed this problem first when I was downloading an OTA update. It would keep stopping periodically and then start again. I dont think its a problem with my router coz my phone and laptop work fine.
Any ideas on what I should do?

I recelled that happening a new times on my device back when it was on 4.2 JB, seems to have been fixed with 4.4.2 update. My quick fix was just to OFF/ON the tablet, sometimes, going into AIRPLANE MODE, and switching back to normal mode would work too.
I recommend you just download the KIT KAT UPDATE.ZIP and load it manually from the SD card instead, of OTA
I'm curious, are you using the slide cover? I always had issues with the touchscreen when waking the tablet by opening the cover, and in helping someone else with that issue, he mentioned that he thought it might be the reason he was having wi-fi issues as well. I've never had any wi-fi issues myself, but it's worth a shot!
Slide Cover...Yep

Yes, I am using the slide cover as well, and no wifi issues after updating to 4.4.2, but I am still experiencing "ghost" random double tapping on my device. Quite annoying, and its been mentioned a few times in other postings. I hope its really a software problem, and not a defect with the digitaizer.
You might want to try cycling the screen off and back on with the power button after opening the cover. This is a software issue that has existed since this tablet released. If the screen still does this after a sleep/wake cycle with the power button, then it could be a hardware issue.
I've been having the same problem. Very annoying. Will updating to 4.4 fix anything?

In general being on Kit Kat is awesome, better than JB. The external SD card being only READ ONLY is really the biggest problem after the update. The tablet has to be connected to a computer to add/remove items.
If you dont use a MicroSD card on yours, even better. HP hasnt gotten around to updating the permissions to let their own HP FILE MANAGER cant write to the external SD card....
Way out

Its most probably an issue with the JB4.2(from my xp).An update to JB4.3 or KK4 would do.
