It is still a test build.

SH(*&^T danknee, beat me to it! LOL
Don't bother with it. Just root and use a custom ROM found in this forum.
Many thanks danknee.
And to bubbacs1, I know how to search. If I had managed to find it with search I wouldn't have bothered to ask in the forum.
Thanks, tedya. I didn't realize it was just a test build. The article I read failed to mention that.

You shouldn't have deviated from stock in the first place. I would even go as far to say you shouldn't have even rooted your phone. You're going to get flamed....... You should have searched, and that tutorial is pretty basic. Figure the **** out

I agree.
However, I will admit that "tutorial" makes my eyes bleed. I cringe every time I have to link to it.

Click the link in my signature.
Instead of the zip files in my thread, download the zip file from the shipping ROM thread (" You may get the Original Shipping Image from HERE or thru Modaco HERE. [22607 build] ").
before going back to stock i recommend trying cm.5.0.6 rom, its 10x better then stock.
This may not be to your liking, but why not go with Cyanogen? Its UI is optimized for the Nexus One. Combined with HelixLauncher it's even more kick a$$.
Maybe i should try cyanogen
I heard that its really good :] And it is full version? not alpha like desire ROM, right? :]

they're not buggy but compared to cyan the battery life just sucks. I don't think many people use those ROMS as their primary OS.
Taken from their twitter account!

Been waiting all day for something fun to flash. To bad I'm omw to work. 10 hours and counting
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Look at it this way, by the time you get a chance to flash you'll know if it's worthwhile.
SRE on the way!

Yeah hopefully this build doesn't screw with your EFS data =P I already backed the files up *just* in case
Also for anyone trying this, make sure you snag your phones unlock code JUST in case before applying this. Don't take any chances
I have dual downloads going.... who makes it first? Can't wait to get home.
Samsung-Firmware (oops Samfirmware) says that this is a 2.2 ROM. We need a guinea-pig. Paging Zilch25

116MB out of 190. SLOWEST 15 MINUTES EVER
Bah! I'm still below 100mb.

I would be ELATED to test it. Would it be possible to load it on a bricked Bravo?
EDIT: Oh nevermind. I see you have to bootstrap Well, I guess it's back to waiting for an SBF.
Well you should still be interested because I am told once I get this working I can create a system only sbf which will likely fix ur problems.

I am definitely interested!!!!! I have been waiting for this ever since I got this phone and retired my jailbroken sluggish iphone. My phone is ready to go so just point me in the right direction. Thank you so much for your effort.
What's the status on this? I'm gonna snag a bravo tomorrow and could possibly test for you.
Just curious if you're working on one for the flipside, too?

Waiting for a 2.2 sbf, which will hopefully surface soon after the 2.2 update, which (unless it gets delayed again) is right around the corner.
fyi...I got the bravo, updated to 2.2.

That isn't going to give you "vanilla" froyo ( that isn't the correct term, AOSP is stock android). You have to wait for Cyanogenmod to be finished.

Give my midNIGHT (BYOR Edition) ROM a try.... That will be as stripped down as it comes. Only add back what you want.
