HTC Sense 2.1 Leak From Alldroid.org

I just read on http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/01/htc-hero-gets-a-leaked-android-2-1-rom-with-sense/ that there is a rom floating around here and alldroid.org thats running the Android 2.1 with SenseUI. Just wondering if anybody is already working on it at the moment?

yeah the hell with it, im buying another vogue again. this new stuff and the rom is awesum looking.

Cant wait till this gets ported.
Im really loving android man.
I thought it wouldnt run as clean as a custom WM rom
but its running alot smoother/faster than WM roms.

ill take a stab at it i wanted to see them get more working but people have to remember if it is beta for them its gonna be alpha for us

anyone have split-bootimg.pl and extract-ramdisk from vogue hero?
unpack-bootimg.pl is giving me

Found a secondary file after the ramdisk image. According to the spec (mkbootimg.h) this file can exist, but this script is not designed to deal with this scenario.

Search for zen-droid on Google code it might still be there in depreciated.

just now got to work on this....gonna see what i can do. im going to try the donut libs since we dont have the proper eclair libs....

Take out the /lib when it sets up the Library path. And make sure you don't modify /system/lib
The donut libs cause conflicts.

I'm not worried about bricking my Eris, as I don't even use it anymore. So I'll attempt to flash this as soon as it's done downloading from that crappy, slow host.

if you want to test put it on your sd card in your phone then place the card back in your phone and boot it up by holding power and call, pretty easy from there

no you hold volume down and power when booting after putting the zip in the root of your sd card
hboot will show up white with green text
let it run, tell it to install, follow the steps done.

Needs to be in the root directory of your sdcard, i.e. /sdcard/ROMNAME.zip

I have an Eris I don't use.

I was able to download it but am looking for input from other members prior to putting this on my only currently working phone. Viva la 2.1 (maybe)!!!!

seems to be real...... just cannot get it to flash

I was told by a source that this is what HTC will be sending out as froyo. you must have 2.1 installed and if you install this YOU WILL LOSE ROOT
I have not tested this yet. and i dont have an nexus one. im about to port to the evo to see what exactly this bad boy has.
the source reports many fixes that are not included with the leaks. once again i cant verify this. to developers, i recommend tearing this apart and loading it as an update.zip without the recovery. load the patches the same way.
it does seem to have some differences from what i have seen. If you brick/lose root/blow up your house, please dont blame me
report findings back here or do w/e you want with it. ill update with what i find on the evo.

its only 44megs dosnt that seem a little small considering that frf50 about 70megs

ok after second review this looks very clean. it seems to add alotttt to what you all had in the leaks.
im still working on the patch files but from looks of it, i think you all are gonna be happy.
btw if a dev can get me a update.zip of the patch files it would help me out alottt. as its nearly impossible to get the patchs ported without the full files

what do you mean updare? like a said up top. idk if this is real or not. thats why i asked you all to verify it. if someone verifys its fake ill take it off and ill find out who the source is.
the guy who provided it to me has posts here on xda and joined in 2009. so i dont see why he would provide me with a fake

i've just update my N1 with this update, it just a ERE27 to FRF50 update.zip but look like to be from google

Samsung leaked that I9000XXJP2 firmware update over Kies will include Froyo, but not official. We will have to wait and see.

It will be on Keis for anyone set to the XX region. Samsung-firmwares does not have the firmware yet, that is bs. Samsung leaked the news of release today. He will download it to his phone, back it up, then reupload it to his site.

Excited to see those numbers. But wouldn't get the hope up too high. Wth all the 3rd party fixes pushing the limit, I wonder how froyo will compare.

This will be on KIES in September. He's already flashed it and posted screenshots so your talking a load of crap.

I am not trying to get any one upset, But look again mate, those pics are from Samsung he even said so. Why do you think he will not upload now if he had it. You do not know the guy do you... He is one of the reasons, Samsung blocked the server so no one can get the firmwares before they release them. He does not "release firmware" he copies them and re posts them.

I looked at the link, I don't think I saw him saying the screenshots were from Samsung. He did claim downloading the official firmware from Samsung, and is still a test firmware though.

It seems that we get a TWLauncher shell wrapped around Froyo. Does this mean that we don't get the nice desktop I see on pictures of, for example, the Nexus One?

I'm confident we'll see a Froyo release as stated.
As to the origins of the firmware - who cares! It's a working Froyo build that can be pulled apart by the chefs, it may even be able to form the basis of a AOSP build.

Found my answer checked it out on PC geeks its a leaked version of GB im guessing didn't know that was a RUU werid.

Weird all the other ones have a .EXE extension and this one has a .ZIP . I could be wrong but maybe its just the GB leak that came out a few weeks ago

Thats what I was thinking but why would it be in with the stock shipped roms that doesn't make any sense I always got my stock RUU from this site to unroot.

yea looks like it might be the leaked gengerbread i have downloaded it and i am going to flash it and see. looks like only a radio for gingerbread i flashe and it only took 2 seconds so restoring to what i had
