Hello, have anyone tried any GBC emulator that work on our phones?
I tried 2 different emulators but none of them workt in a way that i would say its enjoyable to play on. that was a surprise because the gbc emu on my old htc touch wimo device works better then any andriod version on the faster cpu of my wf

I#ve installed DH 2 and played it but it lags sometimes....
i've edited the build.prob and overclocked to 1 ghz
why is it lagging?
What are the requirements for DH2? Isn't it Tegra2?
The U8800 "only" has a Adreno 205.
i dont know bur i dont think so because they are selling it for the desire hd

I don't know if this is related, but I'v heared somewhere that you have to make gameloft
app thought it was running on a Desire HD, otherwise, it will download something which could cause the lagging.
ive already made. that.
it says desire hd when i look at the phone Information

I think the Desire HD is a little faster than the X5 even when overclocked. But even then I don't think it should be that noticeable

lag will be fixed with Gingerbread. It's a known issue on some devices which use Froyo
oh thx for the Information

lags
In my opinion, the reason the game is stuttering bad organization of the system memory. The Adreno 2005 should have no trouble with most games available at the market. There is only one condition, ROM needs to be very well optimized. For the new ROM, we have to wait a bit.

What kernels / roms have you tried it on?

My games working fine on Hyperdroid CM7 Build by Pongster, try fixing permissions and rebooting if your games don't work sometimes that solves the problem.
Okay... Forgive me... How do I fix the permissions? I'm really a new to that process..

Here is my rom information.
Miui 1.5.15
Android version 2.3.4
Kernel tytung r10
400mb or recovery

Not sure if this can be done from the rom manager app (I think I saw it there but I could be going crazy) but anyways
Reboot phone into magldr> AD Recovery> Advanced> Fix Permissions> then reboot
I also have all those games running fine on the Hyperdroid CM7. Uno HD however is small and turning of compatibility mode in spare parts doesn't work. I've only ever had UNO HD in full resolution with boyppc's cm7 build running gingerbread 2.3.3
After extensive testing of the Gameloft games I can tell you this:
The HD2 is not officially supported by any of the game versions.
There is more than 1 version of each game (e.g. v1.0.1, v1.0.2, v1.0.3), each one designed to run on limited devices due to different hardware.
So game v1.0.1 would work on Desire & Wildfire, v1.0.2 would work on Galaxy S & Droid X and v1.0.3 would work on Milestone 2 (All these are examples).
Since there is no official release of android for the HD2, I beleive all available roms are basically ports (for want of a better word) with varing degrees of compatibility (mainly for graphics based games).
So you would need a solid build and a gameloft game which was designed for the original device and this would give you the best compatibility.
E.g. I make my own ROM from a CyanogenMod-7 Bravo Rom (Currently Nightly 96) and have modified it to run on the HD2... I choose gameloft games which were designed to run on the Bravo (Desire) or the closest device based upon Qualcomm CPU and Adreno GPU.
There is a list somewhere out there which states which versions of each game will work on which devices.
Once you have these factors, you should get them all running!
Hope this helps (And doesn't confuse)
Question
Hi all!
Which is a really problem with HD gameplay on ICS? Multi Touchscreen driver?? because All the time FC. and i look that if i pressing 2 place on my screen after i have FC if i playing just one fingers after good but this not good.
So i just want ask. Is there any ICS builds which we can play HD games? If solution the oldered build than ok just pls says that which is.
I think lot of people needed good game and this is a one thing that lot of people not upgrade hd2 to the latest ics!!!
For example installed to my friend and he love the "new" phone just Hd games doesnt work after he said that flashing back Cm7 or mokee os.
Thank you very much.
( sorry my poor english )
Hi guys
Over the past couple of days I have been testing emulators and have noticed that my nexus 7 can't seem to handle games that my desire HD could handle fine, the main culprits being banjo kazooie/tooie and donkey Kong 64
Has anyone else been struggling with these titles?
I am not rooted yet, would a root/deox/over clock help? Has anyone already tested this?

Its the processor mate, both these apps work exactly the same on my HTC one x which exactly the same processor
Its annoying I know, I'm sure its just the case that it'll have to tweaked by the developer. Fingers crossed he does
Edit: as for rooting/custom ROMs Im using glazed jellybean and it does run slightly better on that

I thought so :/
Is it something like those apps don't have quad core support?
It is a shame, I think development has stopped on both of them
Are there any other n64 emulators?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Tbh I'll be surprised if N64oid has even dual core support given how much better it worked on my old single core DHD
Sadly I don't know of any other N64 emus
Its a shame as virtually every ROM would probably work smoothly if it was designed for our CPUs. I mean fpse (ps emu) runs at 100fps for me on some games with graphics effects at maximum on both of my tegra 3 devices
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Aww that sucks
Was looking forward to playing Banjo Kazooie again on my tablet
My last question is about overclocking, if these emulators don't have multi core support would overclocking help?
Or has anyone already overclocked and would mind testing this for me?
Sorry for posting this in the wrong place
Does anyone have any experience with over clocking and n64 emulators?
The tegras need special instructions to really be utilized. Have you tried forcing GPU acceleration in development options in settings.

Hey guys, after successfully overclocking to 1.7 ghz, with I have been on the lookout for a 3d game that might challenge this processor. Any suggestions?
Also, I'm trying to determine whether or not the gpu was overclocked with the ts alpha 96 kernel I flashed? I'm assuming no.

Check out Dead Trigger, it's free and pretty awesome graphics.
Most kernels aren't overclocked by default.
Right, I had too use the trinity app to actually overclock. What app would i use for a gpu overclock? I'll try dead trigger
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Try Asphalt or Temple Run
Dead Trigger is a good choice. Any THD optimized game should heat up the device just fine.
Try E. Warriors 2
Download the tegrazone app which features all new tegra games
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
Nova3 or shadowgun thd are the most graphic intense games out now. or mass effect infiltrator. dead trigger good but its graphics wont tax system as much as those listed oreviously.
