Bootloader unlocked volumes

Since the bootloader is unlocked can something be done about x10 low in call volume?

Most people will say just read the bootloader crackong thread as i believe zdzihu wrote something about a potential fix

I just got a mytouch and I wanted to know if any ics rom has the face unlock since of the ffc?

What'd I miss?
I'm still on v8, was told v15 & 16 are very good. However, it looks like xda has decided to stop giving us access to one of the best roms I've used on the old dhd.
