Hi guys, Blackwatch89 here.
Now some may know me some may not but I am a stock Rom developer at the x10 forums but now have an arc s. If you would like to see my Rom on your beautiful device then let me know. If you would like to see a video of it then head on over to my website where it is. (URL)www.nocturnal-roms.co.uk(/URL) if you would like it then let me know here and I will happily develop.
Thanks

I have a much faster CPU. My board is msm7x33 I need to know. Will I be able to make one Rom for both devices. Either way I will still make the Rom or Roms

We can use lt18i and lt15i roms interchangeably...!!! I mean I even installed stock rom for lt18i on my lt15i and it works perfect...!!! Even those with lt18i installs CM7 developed for lt15i...!!! So those are quite compatible...!!!

Ok thanks mate. All it was is I read up some people had problems with using different models but I guess it's the same with the x10. When the 2.3.3 update came out it was onky on x10i but people on x10a flashed it and it worked just they couldn't get apps from the market as they only worked on the "A" series not the "I" series

I guess that "app not downloading"can be easily corrected by just replacing the finger print of the phone...!!! Making rom for one model and providing saparate finger print patch for the other...!!! Anyways you are the developer, you know better...!!! Forgive me if I'm wrong somewhere...!!!

No you are completely correct. All that needs changing is the fingerprint ID for that model version. So yes a patch will solve that or easier make a different zip that can swap the build.prop with the one needed. Problem solved but first we need to see if there is a problem first before that needs being done. This is the arc series. Not an x10

I don't think that problem will occur here as any app compatible with lt18i would be compatible with lt15i...!!! Almost all the hardware is same except for the former has a higher clocked processor...!!!
But i would personally suggest having a patch for fingerprint because i would obviously not want to see lt18i on my lt15i's phone properties and vice versa...!!!

No that isn't a problem at all that's to do with kernel but DooMLorD uses only one kernel for arc and arc s because they both can be overclocked
It's perfectly safe people who have arc s have tried my Rom and it's ok for them

What'd I miss?
I'm still on v8, was told v15 & 16 are very good. However, it looks like xda has decided to stop giving us access to one of the best roms I've used on the old dhd.
