here you go. Quoted from Graveir post here. credits to him
2. Flashtool
Flashtool is a software developed for Xperia X10, with later added functionality for our precious X8.
It comes in handy when two things happen: we cannot, for whatever reason, enter xRecovery and we don't want to/cannot use SEUS or PCC.
How to use?
1. Download latest version from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
2. Download ROM image, whichever you prefer:
X8 Shakira E15i_2.1.1.A.0.6_generic.ftf
X8_1.6_clear.ftf
X8_2.0.2_China.ftf
SE x8_2.1_rus.ftf
3. Download the baseband if you want to flash it (custom ROMs like miniCM or CM7 require baseband ending with "15" in order for app2sd to work):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=976538
4. Place ftf file in /firmwares directory of your flashtool.
5. Install drivers from /drivers directory (if your antivirus doesn't like them, disable the antivirus )
6. Prepare yourself - plug the USB cable to the computer (NOT TO THE DEVICE YET) and launch flasher.
7. Click "flash", choose your ROM from the list, wait for instructions.
8. When the instruction pops up, press and hold "back" button on your X8 and plug the cable into it. Keep holding untill you see that flashing of files has begun, then you may release it.
9. Flashing will take a while, you may observe the progress on a bottom bar. When it's finished you will be asked to plug off your device and reboot it.
10. Tadam! It's functional again!

Clean installation which you may screw up again
11. If you wish to change baseband, clean firmware directory in flashtool and place baseband ftf file in it, then go through flashing procedure again.

[Help] Endless reboot at Sony Ericsson logo

Hi all,
I have Sony X10 and I updated with DarkRoyal theme. Ever since the phone is in constant reboot at Sony Ericsson logo now. I can get it settled in flash mode though. PC companion doesn't do any help to repair it in flash mode. It says the phone is already upgraded to the latest version.
Does anyone know how to copy files in to system/bin/ folder at flash mode?
Or any idea how to out of this trouble?
I appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

Even if it says that, go ahead and repair using SEUS. It should do the trick.

I tried all I can do in flash mode. It says the phone has the latest update already installed and then nothing else.
If I can copy xrecovery files in to system/bin folder in flash mode then I will have a chance of getting the phone worked again.
Any idea?
Thanks!!

Flash New Marshmallow 6.0.1 Official Build

Hi Friends......
Sony has released new firmware for xperia z5 series. If you are eager to get the update then you are at the right place
Requirements :
* Flash Tool
* Firmware
* Data Cable
**************************************************************************************
Downloads
Firmware :
Xperia Z5C E5803 - goo.gl/0x7Xml
Xperia Z5C E5823 - goo.gl/Dvfx6h
Flashtool : goo.gl/cdTaJr
Device Driver ( Optional ) : goo.gl/YzNBCm
**************************************************************************************
Instructions :
Step 1 ) Download and install Flashtool.
Step 2 ) Paste the downloaded firmware (ftf file) C:\Users\---(User Name)---\.flashTool\firmwares\
Step 3 ) Open Flashtool and then click on the lightning bolt in the top left of Flashtool .
Step 4 ) Select Flashmode and click ok.
Step 5 ) Select the firmware build version that you want to flash from the “Firmware” pane. Ensure the device variant is the same as the model number of your Sony Xperia device.
If you want to retain your apps, data and media (photos, videos, music), then ensure that the “USERDATA” option within the “Wipe” pane is unticked. However, we recommend that when upgrading a major new Android version, a clean install is the way to go. In this case, tick all options under the “Wipe” pane. This will wipe all of your data though including your photos and videos, so please ensure you have these backed up elsewhere.
Step 6 ) Click “Flash”. Flashtool will then indicate that it is “preparing files for flashing”.
Step 7 ) You may have to wait around 60 seconds for the pop-up below to appear. Once it does, you should now connect your Sony Xperia device. Make sure the device is powered off and then hold the ‘volume down’ button whilst connecting the USB cable. Once the pop-up disappears and flashing has started, you can let go of the ‘volume down’ button.
Flashtool Will Start Flashing Process
Congratulations you have just installed Latest Android Marshmallow! Now disconnect your Xperia device and power on the handset. Don’t worry if it takes a while for the handset to boot, this is to be expected.

You can flash your device with flashtool without unlocked bootloader
Not need unlocked bootloader.
Sent from my Blade III using Tapatalk
This is not working, flashing this firmware gave me a ta. parse error. The reason is that you forgot to exclude the XML file in the TFT
Not quite right though...flash the Sony official ROMs don't require an unlocked bootloader.
Though, still Thanks for your sharing the steps!
Will i lose anything like DRM keys and future OTA updates if i flash this way?

nope. As long as you didn't unlock your bootloader and/or root your system, everything will be kept in place.

Little Help needed to get my 6p alive again

please help me.
I have completely wiped my device. nothing is there in internal storage. Just the TWRP folder.
it has unlocked bootloader and twrp installed
but it is the unrooted device.
so please tell me what is best for me?
shall I root it or can I directly go to stock Oero?
I have already downloaded stock file '8.1.0 (OPM6.171019.030.E1, Jul 2018)- angler-opm6.171019.030.e1-factory-1abcb2f1.zip'
I am confused, how should I proceed?
please explain me stepwise, so I can save my phone.

You will be fine I wipe my internal from time to time. Just make sure you update your bootloader and vendor. If you use the flash all I'm pretty sure it's done for you but if using fastboot method follow the steps in the hiesenberg guide. Just so you know once on the latest Oreo builds from what I've read can no longer downgrade. I haven't verified or read up on it myself but maybe look into if you think you might want to go back to nougat .

i have tried that earlier, but still i got the red triangle.
since i failed to go to stock today i installed latest twrp-3.2.2-0-angler using latest SDK tool.
then i flashed Magisk-v16.0 and then ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.7.4-20161008-angler and it immediately went to google logo and stuck there.
just use this to get back to stock https://developers.google.com/android/images
all you do is boot in to fast boot plug into pc and run flash all
there are ways to save data but you already wiped so no need
if your still confused just look up a guide of how to flash factory images and install the usb drivers

It looks good but didn't seem to flash radio and bootloader maybe just not in screen shot should boot but if it still won't boot in to the stock recovery and factory reset might help
You could have the bad big cores try flashing one of the 4 core fixes. Also I wait to flash magisk until after first boot. It can hang you on the Google screen .

Touch screen is all haywired during TWRP

Hi, I was installing Evolution X rom.
Now this is not a ROM problem or any tool. I'm telling the series of events.
So I was installing the ROM, and I was using the All in One tool for MiA1.
So I booted into TWRP, but the touch was all messed up.
Like if I click on the top of the screen, the bottom gets click, if I click on center, top gets clicked.
If I somehow manage to go inside of it, like the filemanager, if I click on back button, it take me inside the directory.
The touch is all haywired.
I somehow manage to install the stock PIE March build.
But how do I fix this.
I really want to try Evolution X Rom.
Kindly let me know.
Thanks.
Have you tried a different TWRP? What about boot TWRP Using fastboot commands?

1. Try back to official ROM first, you can found it here, in my case I'm using MIUI V.10.0.24.0
2. Let it boot to system, enable usb debug then unlock your bootloader again ( fastboot oem unlock in fastboot mode)
3. Flash TWRP official or unofficial using minimal adb, for hotboot first I'm using TWRP from here
4. EVOX 4.7 that I use, you can found it here

Boots only to TWRP - Need help fixing

Hi there. About a year or so ago I went about flashing my Tab but it went wrong and now all I can do is get it to boot to TWRP. Would someone be so kind as to tell me step by step what to do to get it back working? I'd prefer it to go back to stock ROM without TWRP or other 3rd party flash programs but I'll take what I can get. Help appreciated.
This is what I get when it boots:

I got a reply! Thank you!
No I didn't try that. To be honest I used to flash android stuff all the time but kind of having been doing much of that stuff the last few years so I don't remember how to do any of that. If you were so kind to provide me a link or walkthrough on what to do that would be HUGELY appreciated. Thanks for the reply.

What was the goal when you started down the path of installing TWRP? It seems like you might have been part way there if you got that far?
There are Lineage install instructions here. <-- More importantly Odin Download if you don't already have it.
If you decide to try Lineage, the latest builds require new firmware found here. It can also be obtained by returning to stock and updating.
Anyways If you are in TWRP, in the restart menu there is an option to restart to download. If will reboot to a black screen, just hit the power button once when the screen goes off. Before you do this, you need to obtain stock firmware, from somewhere. (Sammobile or something like that) You will also need Odin, link above.
As with anything proceed at your own risk.
Once you have those files, you can extract the firmware. They will be labeled and go into those spots in Odin, AP, BL, CSC, then you should be able to hit start. I'm going from memory, as I haven't had to restore mine since I got it (and looking at the files in stock firmware file).
Idk how relevant this is anymore but I had this same issue after I install lineage 18, there's a multi-disabler zip I got awhile ago that fixes all my flashing problems related recovery loop. Just Google that zip, flash it then format and restart. That what I've done easy fix, this assumes you followed the basic steps to properly flash whatever it is you're trying to.
