Ok so some apps widgets dont work unless there installed on phone and not moved to sd whats up with that?
cyanogen mod 7 is great but im finding a few bugs here and there or things that could do with tweaking who should i talk to about it?
Also i know some russian guys are working on a 2.3 native kernal or up not sure on exact details...... would this enable the personalization on google voice recognition currently this doesnt work and it would be good to be able to train the voice recognition even a patch on cyanogen mod to fix it would be good.
Also it seems like theres not to many people working on it is there a way we can put up a advert and get cyanogen mod and the russians some help with this there has to be programmers and such who are bored and need a challenge im trying to learn now but its gonna be years before i can do any of it even tho id like to help now.

I was wondering what people have gotten to work and not work. I would like to see a nice rom for this.
I got some of the features of timescape to work .
i could not get the widget part to work though..
I figured out that the event viewer in the apps folder work with the timescape .
So if you just install the timescape. It will be work ask to tap the screen and be blank. So i nstalled the event viewer with phone calls and telephony and loaded back up the timescape and it worked perfect.
I dont use twitter so i dont know if it works and i couldnt get fackbook to sync it fc on me.
I couldnt find mediascape yet. so couldnt test it
theres already a thread with the answers to that question
i updated my tread with working/semi/not workin
So only installing the apk does it?couldnt install Photo widget..any clues?

maybe you're not on 2.3 gingerbread?
personally i think the dump that we see in this forum is from the prototype arc phone.
can't really wait till the retail version hits the market so developers can port the rom for our x10s if u are sony lovers
So I'm getting my Defy back from Motorola RMA... and miss it's wifi-calling feature. Since it seems like there's not going to be a lot of luck on cm7 getting wifi-calling fixed, I'm trying to figure out which "custom" rom is the highest-performance, deblurred rom that's based on the stock ROMs so wifi-calling works? I noticed that there's a rom from jboogie3, but I can't seem to tell if wifi-calling works on it or not.
Someone was supposedly working on a vanilla ROM based on the tmobile froyo release, but I would assume that it's already on the back-burner since everyone is focused on gingerbread? I'm running cm7.1 on my nexus one during the repair, but I don't really find that much extra stuff going on in gingerbread that froyo didn't do.
Any recommendations?

Wifi calling is a must for me and this rom works nicely, it has blur but its not required, you can always use root uninstaller to uninstall all apps including the system ones. Adlxmod rocks for tmobile us users.
I'll check it out. Have you used this and compared against the jboogie ROM? I tried to go through the FAQ to find the list of apps to rename to remove all traces of blur... Do you have a list yourself?
I am currently using it, no issues at all. You can see my screenshots in the link i posted. I haven't used the one from jboggie. I dont have the list of apps i like the feature the feature that links your contact photos with facebook so im keeping blur for now, its not required to login to start the phone and as long you dont have the widgets you wont even tell its there
Hello,
could someone create a working version of toggleheadset2 for the ICS-ROMs?
I installed the widget and put it on homescreen. But it didn't work. I couldn't click on it, only seeing the widget is possible.
So ICS is not useful for me. I need the widget for calling (Hardware defect)..
Please help me
Marcus
Did you ever get it? I'm in the same boat.
I think possibly until the devs figure out how to make the phone properly recognise a headset we cannot do anything about it. The headset isn't properly recognized in ICS now, its is hacked to sort of recognize it.

Hello,
look to the market.. The developers made an update with ICS support.
But now I'm on CM7. So I can't test it..
Have a try anytime..
Hello guys,
if you could help..may be there is someone know how to make touchwiz30launcher support alphabetical apps in drawer..i found some guide and apps touchwiz mod from another thread...yes it work but i really just want to know how to do that..
thanks before.
I think it's possible but it is not worth the time. Just get a launcher from some custom rom, even though I'm not using Monochromatic, I still use the launcher cause it's nice, just extract the apk from the Zip

There are 321497329790479230773420 different reasons camera might not be working, you'll need to dig through your logcat to figure out why.
That isn't a supported device, so you're going to need quite a lot of time and patience to figure it out - but the only way to learn about device bringup and maintenance is by doing the work. If it's frustrating and time consuming - this is normal. It's not rare to spend 3 weeks trying to figure out a problem only to have it require only one line of code change. (As a generic and unrelated example - https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/c/2757/ took me the majority of the month of November to figure out...)
You can install a Third Party camera app from google play or aptoide... Iam sure it will work
