Please dont POST here if you are interested...PM me
Ok, let's start with me
I flashed clean performance rom a few hours ago and I face with one problem - I need to unlock screen first when someone is calling to me.. What's more if I unlock screen I see.. nothing - just black blank screen. I have to guess where is the slider that answer the call and slide it on black screen (I can't see this slider). It's very uncomfortable. It is anyway to fix it? I have never seen it in previous roms. I use epic unlock screen.
Sorry for my broken english.

Sorry, I'm afraid I don't understand what this mean. Scaling is conservative if you would like to ask. If I'm wrong, I'd be very grateful if you could tell me where I can find info in SetCPU of this "governor".

you are right...its the same...and conservative has this known bug if you go through FuguMod thread..
I recommend you try OnDemand(for battery ) or Performance(for performance )...if u get lag at min.83mhz then increase min. to 166mhz...that should solve your black screen problem also
try that for a day and let me know if u still getting that problem

Oh and one thing - thanks for a ROM. It's really good - light, simply and optimized. Good job
I got a question to the Kitchen 2.0 you offering.
Is it possible to flash a kitchen rom and then flash the fugumod beta 3 (800mhz) or must this be included in the kitchen rom?

My problem with black screen seems to be solved
But I got other one. I used to use GO SMS Pro as my sms manager, but now I can't. I can't set GO SMS as my default sms manager when I tap on sms icon on dock bar in stock launcher. It always starts stock sms manager. Tried to clear default settings, but it's not working. In other places there is no problem - when I want to use sms manager in contacs (for example) I get a list of installed sms managers and I can choose the one I want to. But not in case of using sms icon on dock bar. I would like to avoid installing other launcher.
Ok, you can forget - I simply replaced default sms icon with GO SMS PRO on dock bar. But go sms pro is not working with unlock screen

that must be the problem of go sms pro i think..does it work with unlock screen in any other ROM??
I am afraid I can't say that.. I was using the widgetlocker lockscreen before (there was no problems with notifications on lockscreen), so I have no idea what about stock lock screens. In the worst case, I'll become accustomed.
All right, next problem is related to messaging. 5 times (so far) I've got a notification about new message. But there was no new messages in sms manager. It's weird but it is true. I'm sure sb sent me a message but I got only notification. I've took a look and I noticed, that it sometimes happen when I'm doing something with the phone that use a lot of processor (I guess) (for ex. installing apps)
No matter if I use stock sms manager or GO SMS PRO.
I haven't got such a problem before.
Could it be kernel bug? or ROM?

Hey guys, Dharam's Stock Ultimate ROM v1.0 is released...please give feedback if u have flashed it
Hello,
i installed the Stock Ultimate ROM.
First (short) feedback:
- i like the font
- the procentage of the battery status does not fit in the symbol
- i installed two apps with the app-installer. Both apps runs not correct.
- the telephone lags a lot
Before i had the Ultra Clean Rom:
- Is it possbile to insert directly a picture viewer?
Regards

Thank you for the feedback...
1) battery status is dependent on the theme...aarrun has made it this way...maybe the original is only this way...i do not mod the themes...i'll ask aarrun if he can change the battery icons for future versions...
2) which apps are u trying to install??i'll try them out..
3) for the lag, use SetCPU and change to OnDemand or Performance...
4) u can directly install a picture viewer from the Market...

This drives my crazy: After rotating the screen with gyrator, gsen or manual-button, the HD switches back to manila or any other last used system window.
(There are some posts inside some big threads wich nobody replied, so I start a new one for this bug only...)
This is VERY annoying if you just want to turn the screen for reading or writing a mail...
i dont know if this is the right method to do it.. but
try adding all types of exceptions to the list in gsen window/class etc of your messaging window!
i came across the same problem and this seem to fix it!
try it and let me know if it worked!
what have you added? manila is already added...
sometimes the bug disappears...I added the exeptions, but have to wait some times to see if the effect lasts...But thanks!

im not talking about manilla.. open the window you wish you dont want to rotate.. then hit the home button on your phone. then go to gsen configuration and add all the windows/classes/process of that application!
that should stop the minimizing of that window when rotated.. hopefully!
if someone has a better solution let us know!
? in dont understand. I do want to rotate for example the mail window, so i added all the others to "dont rotate". correct?

Did you test MobileMagic?
yes, same effect + too buggy
It's top bar's icons related problem.
If you uninstall them you should not have that issue.
As described in another thread. This may be caused by colorful icons/battery icon in top bar.
ahhh ok I'll try. Thanks.
Do you know an other way to display some battery percentage?

If you look around, there is atleast two color top bars that do not have this problem. The problem originated from one of the first color top bars (which everyone liked and used), but now just look around and try them till u find one that u like and doesn't have the bug. (i'd give u mine but i can't find the cab for either one) good luck
Please let us know if you find one, and where to get it.
Thanks.
i now use aebuttons plus to show me battery-percentage at a btn-click.
When I had a Trinity I remember downloading a tweak to get rid of the redundant vertical scrollbar in WM6. I've spent hours trying to find it again and I came across it in AX3L's Tweak&Utilities which had a whole lot of other tweaks that I didn't want to apply to my phone.
Now I'm no developer (as you can tell from my posts!), but I've had a dabble with AX3L's cab and stripped everything else out of it so it only has the sms scrollbar tweak. It works fine on my Touch HD and can be uninstalled too; I hope this is of use to the community.
EDIT: note the vertical scrollbar is not needed and is therefore hidden. It will appear on longer messages when it is required.
Hi,looks interesting,can u post a before after screenshot,thx for sharing
I'm not sure which scroll bar you're talking about. Any chance we could get a screenshot?

Yes please!
It doesn't appear to do anything on my Touch... Or I don't know what I'm looking for
does this remove scroll bars period? As in set the scroll bar width to zero? (for system)
Or does this only apply to the messaging section.

Messaging section only. And no, it doesn't set the scrollbar width to zero, it simply hides it unless there is a need for it (like in file explorer). When it appears it is normal width.
awsome, thanks
taskbar
hi Cool app but was wondering how did you get your task bar like that .
Please pm me and let me know
Great app !
But it seems that you have excracted the "no sms sent notification" at the same time :/
Could you remove this feature please ?
Thnx a lot mate, it works like a charm...
My i780 hanged after I typed many texts. The scrollbar just appeared afterwhich my phone went unresponsive.
Working just fine on the Palm Treo Pro (with RealVGA).
Thanks for this! Had a modified file a time ago when I tried SmileySMS that fixed the same issue. Forget it might be useful on the TP as well
Keep up the good work!
is it possible to do the same for windows media player?
Not working on my Touch Pro with Mighty ROM 4. Any suggestions?
You need to know that it only works on a new SMS. After somebody replied you will get the Threaded SMS layout. Now the scrollbar appears because the Threaded SMS layout has not been modified.
thank you very much
Does anybody know how to disable HD2 from waking up upon receiving an sms? I would really love to do this because I carry my HD2 in my pocket. Often I didn't hear that there was an incoming sms and the screen refused to turn off after that due to the sensitive capacitive display which kept on rubbing with my pants.
Thank you in advance
How did you do it on your previous device?
Settings - Personal - Sounds & Notifications - Notifications - New Text Message - uncheck Display on screen.

With my previous device like HTC Touch HD, it didn't auto wake up upon receiving sms.
Secondly, the screen was not capacitive therefore not as sensitive as HD2 and never experienced a problem.
I also have tried your procedure "
Settings - Personal - Sounds & Notifications - Notifications - New Text Message - uncheck Display on screen."
and the problem still persisted.
My HD2 still kept on turning on itself upon receiving an sms.
Im with you on this one, mine always wake up too. Even when using BSB Tweaks
I have the same problem. I can't turn it off.
Danish Rom 1.48
I have this problem as well. Does anyone have a solution?
(bump)
There must surely be a solution to this...?
I have the same problem with my TD2,I already set the following item in registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL]
"DisableSMSWakeUpEvent"=dword:00000001
but it don't work.
Install BsB Tweaks (search the forum for it) and there is an option to turn off the wakeup.

Odd... did you reset your device afterwards? Are you sure "SMS Wake Up" is set to off? My mate left it on "on" thinking it was a double negative sort of thing...

Yes, and yes. I even directly checked the registry to make sure it's inserting the right value, and it is; the phone is simply ignoring the registry value.

Got exactly the same problem here too (Stock 1.48.405.2)
I think HTC's latest revision of the SMS hotfix, posted yesterday, may have fixed this problem. Needs a bit more testing to be sure....
I've been running Tom Codon's 1.1 ROM for a couple of days with the BsB tweak applied and my screen stays off (still get notification sound).
I only applied the SMS hotfix today, so it wasn't that. Tom's ROM is 2.02 based, this might have something to do with it working ok.

Yes, after installing the SMS Hotfix, I notice that my phone did not wake up upon receiving a sms anymore which is not happening before the SMS Hotfix.
The hotfix says it is for ROM versions 1.66 and earlier, so later ROM versions presumably already contain it.
My device also doesn't wake on SMS after the Hotfix
i was looking the reverse solucion, because, mine was like yours, but after i installed the hotfix sms "2" ,of 14-01-10 my hd2 dosent wake up no more after reciving a new sms, and i am thinking after i read this to leave it like this..... hope to help with something
On my old Touch Pro when you recieved a message whatever program you were using at the time if you clicked at the black bar at the top for notifications then on the view message icon it would display in a little bubble at the bottom of the screen overlayed ontop of the program you were using so you could quickly view the message and then minimize it an contiue what you were doing or click reply and it would enter you into text messaging. Is there anyway to enable this feature for HD2. Because I miss it!
Cheers

have you recently flashed a rom? if so what back up program did you use to backup/restore PIM data? When i flashed my first rom i was using SPB Backup and when restoring PIM data, it would loose the bubble you talk about, I have since used PIM Backup and not had an issue.
Its always been like it, with first ROM, i upgraded to 1.66 and now im on 1.72, by the way big mistake! My phone is now slow as hell and doesnt send texts or recieve whether updates!
I assumed that it was the new stly of notifications menu and hoped there was a way to enable the other style?

About to flash myself. I'll come back here if I get any problems.
Ok let me know ive found its not so bad now 1.72 I am currently on a personal record(this is not a joke this is the longest ive ever been able to run the phone without reseting) of 17hours 23minutes without needing to soft reset however i have had to do funny things to make that possible see here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=666458
Can anybody tell me if in any ROM version when u get a text in and click in the notifications menu it opens the message in a bubble at the bottom rather than taking u too messages tab??
Thanks
Anyone know how to display message in the pop up bubble from the notifications bar rather than sending you straight to the messages tab (useful for reading the message while in another program)???
Many thanks
Still after a way to get this working really want to be able to quickly read a message while in another prograam like i used to on my toch pro. Help would be appreciated thanks

Very easy: Start, Settings, Menu, More, Sounds and Notifications, Choose New Message from DropdownMenu, Check "Show Message", Done
Greets
If i am in the right place it is greyed out and doesnt let me check the box although for me to get there it is:
start/settings/menu/all settings/sounds & notifications/ then click notifications tab then select New Message from DropdownMenu but the "Display message on screen" is greyed out?
Thanks for the reply
Hmm strange maybe it is ROM-dependant...? Or there are other settings need to be made in order to use this option...? Which ROM are u using? Have you got BSBTweaks installed?
No i dont have bsb tweaks installed i dont like the way you cant reset to defaults, i do have hd2 tweaks installed though. Will bsb tweaks make it work? im running latest voda Rom 1.72.

Actually i dont think that this has to do with BSB. I relly dont have an idea as the checkbox "Show Message" is a standard function of every windows mobile version Anybody else got an idea why the box is greyed out...?
I went searching through the registry and found keys which were in the NOTIFICATIONMGR bit which had a path linking to Messaging_Client which i guess is what directs it to the manilla messaging bit when you get a message. I tried deleting the path and deleting the values in the CMD bit but it still does the same. I restored the key after just incase it affected something else but presumably there is a key somewhere which controls whether or not you can click that check box but i have no idea where i would find it? Anyone know.
Ive used SSPL a few times to change the ROM of my Mini and now when I get a text message my screen doesnt light up while in standby. Is there any fix for this apart from hard reset or reusing SSPL to see if an error occurred?!
It used to light up before with previous installs.
Thanks for any reply.
Use Advanced Configuration Tools.
doesnt seem to work on my mini, installed it onto the storage card - cant see option to change notifications.....
thanks anyway
You must install it in internal memory.
The app contains tweaks.
I used the exe from the developers site - got the cab now.... shall see how it goes; thanks!
my mistake
Okay I couldnt find any option within Advanced Configuration for the screen lighting up when a text is received but there was a lot of options - so if someone can clarify its there I stand corrected!
I also installed BsB Tweaks and there is a SMS wake up option , I activated this and it does what I want!
Thanks again to fighter7139 for pushing me in the right direction - appreciated bro.
By the way, in ACT the option is:
Messaging--->Wake up on new sms.
