Is there any way to render icons in HDPI mode with Launcher Pro Plus in Honeycomb. I want to use this launcher, but I hate the tiny iconc and UI. Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to look into ADW Launcher EX. I use Launcher Pro on my phone, but have found ADW better on my tablet. And with the recent updates to ADW, one change was this:
There’s a new option (ADWSettings/UI Settings/Icons) called “Density Hack“. This is enabled by default on large and xlarge MDPI devices to load HDPI icons instead of the MDPI ones.

Hi Guys,
Can we change the settings to have 6x4 screens to have lengthy screen??
I do not want to port ROMs etc, is there any simple way out there!!!
Yeah, even 5x4 would be a neat accomplishment ... 6x4 would be great

No way to do it yet with default launcher,
but if you want ADW launcher or launcher pro (like mine), you can even achieve 4x7 with setting the lcd density to 180
there MUST be a way, default setting could be rendered I think which is 4x4.
Where its configured??
There is no way to modify the 4x4 on the default launcher. Use a custom launcher like the aforementioned LauncherPro or ADW Launcher EX.
Anyone know of a simple Android app that reducing the icon spacing on the desktop? I don't need any fancy desktop enhancements I would just like to control the grid size.
Thanks!
i don't think there is any way to control that with the stock launcher. If you have root, you may be able to change LCD density. Otherwise, try ADW or launcher pro.
I want to replace them with some nice icons made from this forum but the ones I find which are about 120x120ish look bad on it. I use nova prime launcer force in landscape. Can anyone help me out
I recently changed my dpi settings to 160. Is there a way of changing the grid position for each screen to provide more real estate to place widgets, icons. Please note I would prefer to use the stock launcher and not a third party one like nova or apex.
I know you can change the icons but the choices available arent very good. I also cant stand that application launcher button. I like the stock launcher and have tried nova launcher but nova launcher doesn't have the transparant nav bar. I don't understand why the ATT version has different icons and in my opinion better looking icons. Im hoping for more themes in the future.
have you tried nova launcher with other themes?
