what is the exact error you are getting? do you have the engineering boot loader?
you need to be very detailed in the information you provide if you want help... as of yet you are yelling help with not too much info and there is no helping you with that little information

E:cant mount /catche/recovery/command
E:cant mount /cache/recovery/log
E:cant open /cache/recovery/log
E:cant mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:cant open /cache/recovery/last_log
my sd got formatted so lost EVERYTHING on it.
cant get PD15IMG to work. idk what to do anymore.
how can i tell if i have the engineering boot loader?
ok, when in HBoot, at the top it says Bootloader and then some numbers after that...
if those numbers are 0.85.2007 then you have the engineering bootloader which means you can run fastboot commands via your computer to your phone, which is what you will need if you can recover from this! when you rooted via Gfree, the only way to get this was to do the optional steps

These cache errors in recovery usually indicate eMMC failure. This doesn't look good.

i didnt even get to use cm i was setting up all my apps i just read this
"You can flash the PD15IMG via either recovery image. but it appears that if you use the 3.0.0.5, 3.0.0.6, or the 3.0.2.4 recovery image while trying to flash the PD15IMG (via the HBoot) it will brick your device. So that is not always a fail safe method."
but some people were able to pull outta it and i wanna do that!

Honestly, sounds like you never truley bricked in past attempts.
However, if Camera + Power or Home + Power won't get you anywhere now, you're pretty much boned.
Post your info in Haykuro's "Lets fix that SPL" to help him along with hopefully figuring it out.

I can not stress enough that if you can get into recovery mode, you are not bricked.
After flashing the radio, then the SPL, did you then try to re-flash your ROM? The SPL update will repartition your internally memory requiring you to reinstall your ROM.

That's not totally suprising. You will need to get the ROM update.zip onto the SD card through some other means (USB reader, another G1, anyway you can).

However, agreed.
my g1 freezes when i try to reboot to recovery, but it doesnt freeze when i reboot normally. i dont know why....i think it has to do with a program i downladed, "droid explorer". so i tried to flash a new recovery through the terminal, thinking "i cant get to recovery because its broken" but that didnt work. when i put through the command, it returns a dozen lines of "error at xxxxxxxxxx (out of memory)"
can anybody help? or am i stuck with the rom i have?
Flash it via fastboot, that should work
fastboot erase recovery

See Anti what did I tell you, your guide would be very helpful. I think the recovery/boot hacks put out by firerat sometimes could cause corruption. but the nice thing is when it works you get a nice amount of memory. So your damned if you do and your damned if you dont.

it was quite helpful, but you dont change your cd, otherwise it doesnt recognize adb....you just need to remember the directory of the recovery and type it in before it
Hi,
recently my Nexus 7 got shutdown due to battery over,
and its appeared to be that when i am trying to turn it on it is getting stuck on the google logo stage,
so i have tried getting into recovery mode and doing a factory reset and wipe the device,
but, as soon as i am entering the recovery mode i am getting "booting failed" error and popped again to the boot menu.
i have also tried performing a flush using the SDK but i am unable to unlock the device, no matter how i am trying to.
i am getting an error saying "unlock failed (unknown error)".
So... have anyone encountered such problems and managed to fix it?
help me.. i am desperate
i was actually thinking why haven't i bought an I-pad.. but that thought passed right away
thanks in advance..

Hello! I have a problem which I don't know how to fix, so I need some help! I'm running stock android 4.4 (20a) and have flashed CWM through Flashify, but every time I try to boot into recovery, I get this message:
"Secure booting error
Error: Boot Certification Verify!"
Recovery worked in android 4.2 (11g), but I messed my phone up, and flashed the latest .kdz-file for my phone. It was after that the recovery-problem appeard.
I've read some places about people with D802 who has this problem, but the fixes they've got only works for D802 and D800. So, how can I fix my F320S? I guess there are more people with the korean version who has stumbled upon this problem, so if you got a fix, please post it!
Excuse my typos if there are any!
Thank you!
LG G2 F320S
Put phone in download mode, and flash the stock KDZ.
If you cannot do this, then you are hard bricked. I had an LG Optimus G which I got a Secure Boot Error after flashing a compatible ROM using TWRP, and although it could get into download mode, it would never be seen as a COM Port in the computer again to it couldn't be seen by the Flash Tools software to restore KDZ.
But it is a stock image I've flashed... What causes the problem!?
Edit: I tried to put it in Download-mode, but the secure-boot error apeard there too... But the phone can't be bricked, as it's booting to Android and everything works...
Would this fix it if the developer made a version based on my aboot?

Edit no.2: I pressed the wrong button-combination, so yes, I was able to access Download-mode, and it works like a charm!

Did you ever fix this, and how? I just stumbled on to the same problem the same way. I've got a D802 international. Recovery is corrupted with the same error as yours. That was nonsense about being bricked above. I hate that when people give wrong info. Any help definitely appreciated.

I'm wondering what happens if I do a factory reset? Trying to get up the nerve to do it. If not then I think the next best option is to wait for 4.4.3 or higher.

I don't think a reset will fix it as it's not fixing any corrupt data. The problem lays in the bootloader. It's not able to boot into the recovery installed as if it was an earlier build. It looks like this is what you are looking for to be able to install a recovery the right way. I haven't tried it yet, tho.

Okay so following that tutorial he posted.. I get up to about STEP2.BAT.. Tons of static screens and Im not sure if I messed up my phone for good or not..
My phone has the H915 firmware or whatever from the KDZ.. I dumped my system so Im not sure if that saves me or not?
Also have no cellular signal..
I try following that tutorial to the T but idk what im messing up
Could really use some help guys..
Pretty much stuck on the H915 KDZ I flashed with no cellular.. Following the steps on the H910 tutorial doesnt work.. I get to past Step 1 and either Step 2 messes up or it boots into step 3 and tells me fastboot isnt a valid command or something....
Okay so I got TWRP on it.. but when I try to do anything, its like it doesnt mount system.. I try to flash the system.zip and system.img and i get unable to mount system (unknown error 150)..
Then I go to reboot recovery and it says no OS installed.. So Im assuming when I flashed the system.img it erased the OS?
Now you need to do this part to complete
Now that you are in TWRP you need to do a couple of things:

I did.. I flashed the 10m zip and flashed the system.img.. made sure not to get any mount errors..
So it flashed successfully.. rebooted system and it gave me a kernel error im assuming so I held down volume down to restart as it said and now its on the LG screen.. waiting to see if boot time just takes longer or what not and Ill report back..
But shouldnt I have data and cellular? Im on Cricket which is apart of ATT and in his post after flashing the KDZ file.. it says I should but I dont..
At this point I really dont want any root or anything.. I just want to restore my phone to a working state with cellular as I have a young son and use my phone for work and my stupid ass shouldnt of been ****ing with it from the beginning lol.. If I can get back to 10m or stock or whatever and the modem works ill be happy..
I have a full dump from that one step.. Will that help me revert these changes back? How do I go abouts using the DUMP to restore?
Sorry.. never used a dump before.. If it'll even work
Okay so no luck.. maybe TWRP didnt give me an error but when I went to reinstall the files again because i waited 10 mins.. it gave me the unable to mount system unknown error 150.. any ideas?
If you have a Cricket H910 it may be different than an normal H910.
Did you take a dump of your firmware before rooting? It is an optional step, but I hope you did.

I did but have no idea how to restore it using the files it pushed onto my computer.. It isnt a cricket H910.. Its an ATT H910.
Side note, good morning Brian.. Been waiting for you lol
Is there anyway one of you guys can point me into the direction of using the DUMP to restore whatever I can?

When I go to flash the system.zip and .img it erases system completely and then I get the unable to mount system (unknown error 150)
Im pretty sure this all has to do with the encryption.. When I go to format data, it cant mount storage.. When I finally get it to format; and I flash the system.zip and .img i get the unable to mount system..
I dont even want root anymore.. I just want to know how to use my DUMP to fix my phone if its possible?
If it is an AT&T H910 then there is a thread, linked to in the post about rooting that will get you back to stock.
However, I warn you, if you can't make this work, then the chance of you restoring to stock are not good.
I can tell from the posts / PMs that you made, that you didn't read the entire post before trying to root.
You have asked questions that are answered right in the post.
