Yup that was a problem many faced with JPF...try upgrading to any of the Custom ROM's or if u want the Stock ROM's like JPM,JPN,XWJPF
Now i installed jp2 rom again for overcoming this problem...but still this problem is going on....

Had same issue and tried linking 2 contacts and problem was solved.

Hello.
I installed this rom on my Rogers(Canada) X10. Everything went fine. But I have no wireless at all now and it says baseband unknown. I tried looking for APN settings but there's nothing there under mobile networks. This is my first time installing custom firmware and I'm rather lost. Can anybody help me please?

Did you make sure your on the correct baseband?
Did you flash a custom kernel?
Hi, I had same issue. What worked for me was using the Dev tools app and selecting bad behaviour then crash the system server. Phone rebooted and has been working fine since. Might be worth a try?

I read the Q&A but it seems that in order to select a baseband, I need to know what is is? But I can't because the system doesn't tell me. As for kernels and such, I'm at a complete loss lol. I just followed the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945264 for installing the firmware.

I tried flashing using xrecovery and nothing changed. Still no baseband information.

Please i am a newbie and have been around for some time reading through the forums and i recently got an lg gt540 and i wanted to install a custom rom. i first installed elegance 2.1 rom and everything was ok but i wanted to try 2.3 roms. So i got sdsl v3 bt whenever i start it i keep on getting force close errors till i turn wireless and gsm network reception off. can u pls show me what i may be doing wrong? i have also tried sdsl v2.1 with .29 kernel bt still with the same results.Please help

ive tried fixing permissions and ive also tried wiping cache but it still keeps on giving me the force close errors

ive finally been able to get it working. it was actually a problem with my sim card so i had to replace it. tnx guys for all the help
When I select radio bands ( *#*#4636#*#* ->phone information-> Left soft button -> select radio bands), it's always force close. Can someone help me? I only want to choose JPN band so if you know other ways to do it. Please tell me. I appreciate your help.

galaxy y s5360 dxlf1 stock rom.
Try refashing your country firmware using odin. U can find it with the search box.

I tried but i couldn't solve this problem.
Hey why not just try this method i think it could solve prob
dial *#272*imeino# and in the screen select JPN or for u r country...I think this should work

I tried but it won't work. I think there should be something to do with Settings.apk like this thread say.
so u r in stock rom right try to update it from settings it could be a bug too.
If it was a bug it will get fixed through update

It's possible Fox Hound hasn't worked properly for your device, try flashing back to Stock then trying FH again see if it works.

You should flash stock firmware using odin

number of things could be wrong
1 - bug in rom
2 - bug in kernel
3 - faulty power button/hardware (although would normally see phone switching off in other areas too)
4 - you are holding the power button by mistake when talking (unlikely though)
best thing is to do what has already been mentioned - flash stock rom via odin - that way you can eliminate the top two in that list if it still happens
