I think he/she's thinking of a spelling dictionary for the onscreen keyboard for other languages than English. At least I am
I assume the OP is looking for the file where the user-added words are stored, so if you want to enter "u" and have it turn it into "you".
Is there anyway to get spell check to work with the hard keyboard?
I have searched and found no answer.
Thanks,

I am also wondering if this would be possible. Don't know if this thread belongs here, applications, or in android development. Is there a way to implement the spellcheck/suggestion of the vtk when using the hardware keyboard? I would see this taking a bit to do however, as from what I am thinking it would take it's own IME to do it. Or would have to be hacked together somehow to do it, which also doesn't seem as likely since HTC is closed source (tho' I do not know about their vtk). I do like the idea of it, even if it may not be that feasible.
Haykuro solved this for us...
Here is a link to his blog that tells you what to do
This will change your VK also, but give you predictive text for the hard keyboard. There is also a thread in the development topic about it.

Its loaded into the rogers rom. Once you double tap the text area the spelling is activated!!
The Rogers rom is perfect for me. I love this phone!!
Been using it for awhile and now its saying trial peroid has ended. I was going to pay for full version but cant seem to find where to get it...anyone know the deal?
It just expired here too.
This one works but only has English and Spanish languages, I think it's the one from the mt3g 1.2

I could convert it to french by merging the files from the old "expired" apk to the new one though... so I guess it can be done it with any language that was previously available.
Hope this helps
Cheers..thanks for that!
Thanks a lot. This is so much easier than the regular keyboard, am loving it.
Hello, I'm quite new to this SD Hd2 Android stuff , but I seem to have it working except for the auto spelling like the t9 and stuff you have on other phones. Mine doesn't work that way , and I keep typing wrong words. I couldn't find anything on this searching the forums, if anyone can help that would be great!

Try going into settings/language and keyboard/android keyboard/input languages. Then choose the language you want predictive type for.

Hey guys i know im posting in the wrong section but it wouldn't let me post in the dev section.
Is their anyway of getting the default atrix keyboard 2.3.3 working on android 4.0.4 (miui) rom please i loved this keyboard and i really want it back ive tried a lot of things e.g pushing the apks to my device doesn't work and trying to install it.
It would be much appreciated if someone could get this working and tell me how to do it.
thanks in advance
It is a blur based tom keyboard, so short answer is no.
Try playing with different keyboards from the market.
Neutrinos cm7 or turl cm9 (M)atrix
oh thanks anyway that really sucks but i guess i will have to live with it until i find a better one
Try swiftkey! It's the best keyboard I've used by far, its word prediction is superb
Ok i tryed swiftkey its cool its kinda like the default motoblur keyboard as it trys to detect what u r going to say next so thanks ill try it for a few days and see how it goes.
