knockoffs are often meant to be downgrades from the true deal. In terms of Dell’s Streak 7 tablet, its KIRF version actually has just a few advantages over the genuine deal — it might make phone calls, has an even bigger (3000mAh) battery, comes preloaded with Android 2.3, runs at 1.2GHz, and happens to be cheaper at slightly below $180 unsubsidized. Obviously, its 7-inch WVGA screen depends on resistive technology for touch input, it only has one core, and there is no evidence of this Gingerbread installation actually running, but are you actually gonna let such trifling details stand on your way? Hit the source link to get an eyefull of this Welldone tabletphone mashup — it could not be real, but it’s definitely red!

I would definitely get this if it didn't have the resistive touch screen.

Nice looking game, but it requires multitouch. Shame, cos it does look good.
I'm pretty sure the TP2 doesn't have a graphics accelerator that'll allow that performance even if a good way of controlling the game was thought up!

where do you buy nfspeed underground?
if they would make it on win mob, it would cost $30 or at least $25.
People would not buy it, they would just download the cracked version.
The company would sell 12 copies and go out of business.
On iphone, the game probably cost $6. The will sell 150 thousands copies and be rich and happy. The will have version 2.0 next year.
I saw an article about gambling with Android and I don't recognize the phone in the picture. It doesn't have any branding besides the Google on the back. Anyone know if this is a legit phone and whose it is? I like it!

I don't think so. It's one of those mockups that was made when there were rumors of Google making a mobile phone themselves. Before it was known that Android would be just the OS.
looks like it running WinMo, look at the icons on the screen.
Yeah that screenie is of a device running Windows Mobile 5.
it could have been an early prototype for the mytouch, who knows. a lot of prototypes never make it to the mainstream.
That orange square on the top of the front is the logo for the UK service provider orange.

its not a prototype nor could it have been.. Its obviously running winmo not android, therefor if it was a prototype for a phone it would have been a winmo based one not an android based one..

I really like the ui and widgets, i say we keep an eye on this one!
"Enter the Coolpad N930. This new Android 2.1 powered handset features a 3.5 inch ASV capacitive LCD display (800 x 480), 1GHz processor, ceramic buttons, and a titanium shell. Android purists will most likely scoff at yet another custom UI, but it looks like owners of the Coolpad N930 are in for a treat. The handset’s custom UI treatment appears to offer a total of twelve home screen panels, an application dock, and some pretty elegant widgets.
No word on pricing or availability, but we’re hearing that Coolpad will be releasing more details on the N930 during the P&T / Expo Comm China in October. I’m sure most of you are probably going to stick to that EVO 4G or Galaxy S that you picked up last month, but I’m pretty sure a handful of you might actually consider importing the Coolpad N930 from your favorite cellphone import shop."
Is that TAT Home Cascades being used on the music widget?!
Oh wait, China.. could be stolen idea's.
Waiting for a dump, this is the first device with TAT Home?
Does nexus 4 have full touch in area below display like HTX one x has?

Serious ;D
My cousin has one x and that phone detects touch below screen, on capacitive (non on-screen buttouns), like you can scroll maps and other things even if you go on area below screen. Like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1806590
Also, maybe my poor english disoriented you ?
I really hope that was just a troll question. If you really don't even know that much, then please don't buy the device, for our sake.
The One X only does that through use of the capacitive buttons.

...it's actually a pretty legitimate question guys. The palm (pre i think?) had this. It was an area below the screen where you could make gestures to control the phone.
To answer your question, no, the N4 does not have this. It would be cool if it did though. You could completely get rid of the onscreen buttons, have the whole screen to use, and use the gesture area below the screen to control the phone.
Maybe on the next nexus...

I prefer mva z1 full hd screen, ips is not symbol of quality, lg g2 id very bad color acurracy, worst than amoled.
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda app-developers app
Does not say anywhere that it is IPS screen though... not even the japanese spec sheet... just the normal Trilluminus +x-reality...
and I don't like how it looks... looks a lot like IPhone 5C TBH... still prefer the bigger one Z1
I will definitely buy this phone if it will be available on the international market! Unfortunately there is no official statement about this
docomo z1 will probably have this screen aswell lol. but in full hd.
I really wish that this would come out in Europe as well, whilst I do admire the Z1, it is far to big (personal feeling)
I'm not going to cry about 720p instead of 1080p, but finally a 'smaller' device that isn't cut down internally as well!
