[Q] Why m not getting HTC Wildfire Froyo Update in Pakistan?

whenever i check for System software updates there was no update for my phone.
now how to update to Froyo 2.2?
whats the problem with my phone?

froyo is not yet available for your country... and you better reconsider updating to froyo, because you will not be able to root...

froyo update is not available for our country. as u might know that are very few phones that HTC has officially launched in pakistan and wildfire is not in that list.
however, i would recommend you to flash a custom ROM. because after an official update to froyo, you can not root your phone.

Any way to root if I accept all HTC EVO updates?

I have an HTC EVO 4G I thought I was going to swap out at Sprint. I changed my mind. I accept all updates and now wonder if I can still get root. The phone does not let me get into recovery. Can someone point me in the right direction? Here is the Software Info:
