I know my notification light used to blink when it was plugged in, now it will not. I have wiped my phone many times and tried many different roms, but it just will not blink anymore when I am plugged in. Has anyone else had this problem, and how can I fix it?
Er... Mine never blinked when plugged in
Mine doesn't blink either, when it is plugged in.
With that said, it's perfectly normal.

Not sure if this is a wide spread issue or just a bug with rom/theme, but....
When you make a call with bluetooth and the phone is plugged in(in my case the computer), and then hang up...the buttons on the bottom will not light up until I disconnect the usb cable. It happened to me a few days ago and I could not figured out what was causing it until I made another call today in the same manner. Now I can replicate it at will.
Not really a big issue, but wondering if anyone else can replicate this?

I'm not rooted and i have seen this problem. I'm 1.47 OTA. Happens when on charger and have to disconnect to get buttons to light up. very inconvenient at nighttime! Hope a fix comes soon.
I've noticed the problem when my Evo is fully charged and still connected to the charger. Then if I turn the screen on, the softkeys don't light up until I remove the charger and reconnect it.
The buttons don't light up when plugged in. That's the default behavior.

It's NOT a problem. It has to do with the light sensors. In bright enough conditions the keys usually remain unlit. However, in the dark or low light the keys will light up.
Try testing it out by covering / uncovering the light sensors at the top of the screen just under the indicator light while the phone is unplugged.
I noticed that when the phone is plugged in, if the keys are off covering the sensors will trigger the keys to light up and in my case remain lit until I unplug.

Help! I have a D800 and I woke up in the middle of the night to a blinding light coming from the phone's LED. It's fading to blue from green and then back and its not stopping. There was a amber alert which I've since deleted but the light is not stopping. I've turned off notifications for amber alerts and turned off the LED entirely but it's still not stopping. I have rebooted the phone 3 times. There are no notifications whatsoever now but regardless if the screen is off or not the light is constantly flashing. I called att and of course they have no clue.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I use a smashed S4 as an external battery charger for my working S4 as i have 2 batteries but recently the notification light has had issues. It has no problem lighting up when booting, but for some reason it flickers and then doesnt work, or just doesnt work, so i have no indication of when the battery has fully charged, i have the screws out so i can open the phone, is there anything i can do?
EDIT: I have noticed it only flickers or not worked if trying to display green light.
Rooted phone here.
The notification LED doesn't seem to be working for...notifications. No matter what kind, I can never tell I have a notification until I turn the screen on. Anyone have the same problem/solutions?
Not really, perhaps the problem is that it's only Red or Green, its not an RGB LED. I've seen it blinking when a whatsapp message comes in or if I have a missing call but it blinks too fast, so that's the problem and you can't change the timing either.
Hello I noticed that when you activate reverse wireless charge a tiny and cool blue led blinks, I wonder if that led is hardware activated when charge is on, or is software and it can be tweaked as notification led...
I questioned that, myself, back when the S10+ got the update that enabled that. Never heard of anybody trying to do it. Honestly I haven't been following.
