HBO Go? - Acer Iconia A500

I noticed my Tab doesn't find it in the market.

It's not supported by our tablets... yet. I tried a side load and you get the 'this device is not supported' FC

Android Market -Server Error

Anyone else seeing this when they open the Android Market? All I get is the featured apps along the top, which I think are cached. Can't browse it or see downloaded apps tab.
Data connection works otherwise.
I getting it too here in TX
Mine just started working again...
Working here again as well.

Netflix

Netflix is available from the Android Market, not sure it works though, I keep getting an error (but I'm trying to use it through a tethered phone). Can someone (from the US), try this too? (this is with the 3.1 update).

Please search... this has been answered way too many times.
It's not the same. It ACTUALLY shows in Android Market available for this device. That was not the case before the 3.1 update.
Yea I was excited to see it also. Still does not work error code 12001 I think. I am using via wifi, and in the states..
Waiting for the day Netflix becomes available so I can cancel some extra services I don't need.

Nice to finally see it in the Market though. I tried it but it doesn't work. I suspect it will soon though - that it's now in the market for us means they just have to complete that last step (authentication) on Netflix' side. I'm excited
I noticed the same thing and got pretty excited! Netflix definitely shows up in android market and IS installable, you can view titles and edit your queue but when you try to stream movies/tv shows you receive a "12001" error.
I called netflix about this just now and the rep told me that the a500 still is not an approved device, however he says that all tablets will be "go" for streaming very soon.
He says that the higher-ups have used words like "in no time" and "before you know it" referring to when streaming would be available. He says that the hard part is done, which was setting up the app and getting everything ELSE to work. Now all they have to do is make sure that the video streams to the devices correctly.
Cross your fingers, keep checking, and let us know when it works!

help with market apps

Good day. Just pucked up my note 10.1 and am having a app compatibility issue. One i ran into is capital one. I have searched the forum andvread about side loading them or use a app called market hrlper bug none seem to give a solid success. So curious to what some of the latest methods that work. Thxs!!!
Glow
My apologies. In the market it says it's not compatible with my device. I am rotted and running 4.1.2 in case that helps.so side loading souonds like the sugested method. Could i send apk from my S2 that has it installed? That device is rooted as well.
Yep, just mke sure you have unknown sources in security settings ticked or it won't work.
I have this capitol one app on my 10.1
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.konylabs.capitalone
I remember having the same issue but I don't remember anything other than downloading this app to fix it. It might be that I downloaded it from my PC rather than from my tablet, or the other way around.
Thxs, got that one. Not sure why other says it's not. If I come across others, I'll just side load them as mentioned.

[Q] HBO Go Not Working

Is anyone else having issues with HBO Go?
I have installed the app. I can log in via Cox with no trouble. Everything looks to be fine until I try to play something. Then it will show the HBO Go screen and the ratings. After that though all I get is the spinning wheel for like 3 minutes and then it goes back to the episode page. This happens when connected via Wi-Fi and Ethernet. I am not having any problems with HBO Go on any of my other devices (4 PCs and a Momo 7 tablet).
HBO GO FIX for MOJO
I was having the same trouble you described. I originally downloaded the hbo go app off the google play store which is version 3.0.1. got that same error. I and uninstalled found a different version 2.4.03 at mojo.madkatz.com using Chrome Browser and it fixed the problem. the site starts with a new owner tutorial slideshow before sending you to the full site. I know this post is from 6 months ago, but I could find no other information on any forum about how to fix it, so I hope this helps someone. That website also has other suggested and compatible versions of apps listed.

Grim Fandango, how to install

I know I could stream Grim Fandango Remastered from my pc but I do not have a Nvidia card only the intergrated Intel HD graphics. Fangdango is available for android but it is not compatible with any of my devices if it were I would d/l it and then sideload it. What can I do?
Do you have any devices that it is compatable with? If so, you can install it there, and move the APK.
..
Every device I have is rooted but the only one that is registered that is compatible is the Nexus 9 but I returned it because it was running very hot and bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 SM-T800 which my daily device now. It is rooted and running a custom 5.0.2 rom. I tried every device option available with Market Helper but Grim Fandango still did not show in the play store. I tried using my chrome browser and going to the play store and Grim Fandango would show but it still only showed it being compatible with the Nexus 9. Strange when I clicked on the play store compatibility list the device I was spoofing was not there. I double checked the device manager page and it showed that the device had ben changed to the spoofed one. Am I doing something wrong?

That's what you want. With market helper, it doesn't change the play store on the device. You have to install it on the web interface to the spoofed device. The play store on your device will update all installed apps though luckly, supported or not.
But, the spoofed device is not showing up in my compatibility list. The list is still only showing the original list. I am using the play store through Chrome browser. I'm starting to feel like a noob again! ?
..
So, I definitely have to use a pc. I thought since there was a in app link to the Android device mgr there was no need to use the pc.

I didn't have to use a pc. I used chrome browser installed on the shield. Just refreshed a few times in that and the spoofed device showed up.
..
Yes, it works on the shield. You have to install via web browser, but the device does the rest.

Back on topic, did you manage to get this working?
To be honest, I have been sidetracked most of this week with an addition I am adding to my home. I will try this coming week and post results.
No I could not get it to work, it kept crashing. There is a version of it ln the Nvidia Store but it is only for the Shield tablet. How hard would it be to port it to the NSATV. I guess Nvidia would have to ask Doublefine for permission or else Doublefine would have to do it themselves? How does one bring this to Nvidias attention?
any updates whit grim fandango on android tv?
Its on sale this weekend
