I have a DHD branded SFR (French operator).
I would like to downgrade, root, S-OFF and install custom ROM...
In order to downgrade, I've found a method using gingerbreak but it doesn't work on S-ON device.
I've found another method using RUU.
Is this really working?
How can I do it and how?
Is there another method?

Hello, i got HTC magic 32A version RADIO:6.35.10.14 HBOOT:1.76.0010 with Android 1.5
i was wondering if with this version i can use any update or i have to use one specifically?
i buy this in venezuela im not sure about using roger's version i dont want screw up mi phone.

Using a goldcard you should be able to flash the rogers RUU...
But better yet, you should root and get custom recovery...
From there you could flash a modified Rogers rom... like the one from capychimp in the development section.

Using this guide, I have "sendmsg failed" in loop...
That's why I would try RUU...
Hi guys, i seem to have missed out my unlocking my DHD after eng s-offing and flashing custom radio and ROM.
Cant remember exactly the process i followed but i wanna upgrade to LeeDrOiD's GB ROM tomorrow and want to make sure i can use other sims after that. Is there now a one stop tool that will just give me SimUnlock? Im tied to TMob UK at this stage.

Go to 1.32.405.6, use nand backup if you have one, or use Raidroid ROM, search for it. Then use my radio s-off tool to do SimUnlock. You also have to go back to the older radio for the tool to work.

i´m from germany and i have a problem with downgrading my HTC Legend. It is Android 2.2 installed and the 1.01 Bootloader, so i must downgrade first.
I make all steps but the cmd shows cr--rw----- . I tried a hard reset but it didn´t changed.

I just rooted my Legend 2 weeks ago by following this guide:

My Legend before rooting was also hboot 1.01 S-ON running Android 2.2. Good luck!

Hello,
I have a Htc magic, which does not start.
when I start it up my Magic comes the splash and then just black....
My magic does not start, but I come into recovery and fastboot.
My SPL ist 1.13.0013 and Radio 2.22.28.25.
On the magic was the Official Froyo update 2.2.1 and it is rooted.
I cant change the SPL, fastboot does not work too... and if i want to update a rom it say not signatur or veryfied....
I will make a goldcard but i cant get my CID ...
Can anyone help me?
why do u have the Official Froyo update 2.2.1 on a rooted phone?

because on the phone was the official update, and i want a rooted phone.
So i rooted it.
