im running cm 1.6 and ive been looking for a new hero rom, but all of a sudden all of these new roms coming out are for 32a only .

Yes there is... I suggest you install the rooted official HTC Sense UI.. it worked for me, and you don't have to wait until Proximus awakes from hibernation.
You can find it here, together with the installation instructions.
You'll need to upgrade your radio as well.
After this, you can experiment with flashing customized roms, like CursorDroid's CursorSense or GyD's

the attached zip won't do anything.. it isn't even a rom or an update.
the first post does include a RapidShare link to the official HTC RUU update, which will install HTC Sense UI on your Magic 32A, together with a perfected SPL (which disables flashing custom roms).
my advice is to go into the Sapphire Dev forums and look for a rooted version of this update (GyD's rom or CursorSense rom or the Stock HTC Sense Rooted rom).

I am new to the HTC/Android platform. I just brought a Virgin Canada branded Legend which has the 2.02.666.03 firmware. I am planning on using the goldcard method to put a stock rom on it and debrand it.
However, I am not sure which is the right rom. I came from a Nokia where flashing firmware from the wrong region can brick a phone (because of the wrong radio bands). Not sure if the same goes for HTC phones. Are the roms labeled WWE the same thing as North American roms?
I am guessing I should be using RUU_Legend_HTC_WWE_2.03.405.3_Radio_47.39.35.09_7.08.35.21_release_130330_signed.exe?

Hi guys, i seem to have missed out my unlocking my DHD after eng s-offing and flashing custom radio and ROM.
Cant remember exactly the process i followed but i wanna upgrade to LeeDrOiD's GB ROM tomorrow and want to make sure i can use other sims after that. Is there now a one stop tool that will just give me SimUnlock? Im tied to TMob UK at this stage.

Go to 1.32.405.6, use nand backup if you have one, or use Raidroid ROM, search for it. Then use my radio s-off tool to do SimUnlock. You also have to go back to the older radio for the tool to work.

I have a Htc magic, which does not start.
when I start it up my Magic comes the splash and then just black....
My magic does not start, but I come into recovery and fastboot.
My SPL ist 1.13.0013 and Radio 2.22.28.25.
On the magic was the Official Froyo update 2.2.1 and it is rooted.
I cant change the SPL, fastboot does not work too... and if i want to update a rom it say not signatur or veryfied....
I will make a goldcard but i cant get my CID ...
Can anyone help me?
