I tried a few roms and went back to my stock rom nand backup and factory reset the phone. The Gyroscope worked and then after a few days stopped working. So I factory reset it again and once again it worked for a few more days then stopped working. Anybody have any idea whats causing the issue and how to fix it?
- I9500 currently on stock rooted rom
Hi, i'm cross-posting this for visibility.
So, i'm completely lost. I was playing around with ROMs and mods (the RAM build.prop, for example), and now all my phone's sensors seem to be stuck.
I have reflashed back to completely stock ROM, taken official sprint update. Tried modded ROM, done factory resets, cleared/wiped everything, and still the issue persists.
It would appear my Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, and Compass are all not responding at all.
Right now i'm on rooted stock AOJ6.
Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe a corrupted sensor properties file or something similar like that? I'm completely at a loss.
Any help is appreciated.
Guys, it fixed itself. I booted into safe mode, restarted and all the sensors are working again.
I doubt it had anything to do with safe mode, as the sensors weren't working in safe mode.
I have no idea what could have done it. I wish I had a real answer for you.
Hello. I have 2 questions for you. 1st is i flashed pacman rom to my device. After that my proximity sensor killed. I formatted my phone and flashed previous rom. Proximity still not working. I tested it with sensor tester. It says your phone not allows proximity. How can i fix it?
And second question is, how can i back to stock system on g7? I cant install system with dload. Thank you all!
RR oreo treble build, sensor were working perfectly and something happened and no sensor is working. Which partition should i flash for sensor recovery?
So I flashed lineageOs 17.1 unofficial build on my phone earlier to test it out. After booting into it, I realized the fingerprint sensor wasn't working so I flashed the stock rom using odin. After boot, fingerprint sensor still didn't respond and when I try to add a print, I get an error,"make sure the home key is clean and dry, then try again.", so I used the dailer code (*#0*#) to run sensor diagnostics. The results are as seen attached. Is there anything I can do about it? The home button still works fine so I doubt its a hardware problem. If anyone has a fix for this i'd be grateful for you to share.
