[Q] debug via USB - XPERIA X8 General

Hi, im newbie to Android.
I'm currently using 2.2.1 CM Floyo v0.20 by Racht, and when I try to debug via USB, the Android device chooser can detect my phone. But the problem is:
Serial number is: "??????????",
AVD name: "N/A",
target: "Unknown"
thus I cannot choose my phone.
Any one got idea of what's going on?
Thanks a lot!

Do you have drivers for x8 installed correctly?

[Q] Galaxy 3 - Win7 x64 - no ADB connect

Hi all,
I'm using HTC HD2 running NAND Android. I tried many builds, and even I can compile "my clone" of released build before flashing. I use ADB and Droid Explorer fluently.
So ... now my friend come with Galaxy 3. I want to help him with few issues. First I wanna to look inside, if I can see any problems. But ... I'm NOT able to have ADB connect.
The comp is Win 7 machine 64bit. With HD2 works well. With Samsung we tried several driver versions. I can have valid Samsung devices in Device manager, but ADB does not connect.
Is here, or there any guide, how to make it communicate?
thanks
PS. I tried the "search", but either the answer is not here, or I'm blind

So I went to.
A kernel update solved the problem.
Sam's Kernel or Fugumod's the perfect choice.
But this is only an opinion, maybe I was just stupid and I could not do otherwise.

It worked for me without problem
How do i uninstall xrecovery?
You surely have problem with offline charging...Why to delete xRec? Try to install some of custom rom's, they are more faster and light than stock...If you want to uninstall xRec, delete from System/bin/busybox and System/bin/xrecovery.tar and you will no longer boot into xRecovery, but i don't know if this can help you to turn on offline charging, try different xRecovery, for example from FreeXperia Team.

I think you should install gingerDX v20 (the latest)
and install alfs kernel v05 i have done that and my USB Tether works perfectly
Thats the only thing i can come up with. Otherwise try a different ROM .
Hope i helped

[Q] Using the SGY as target with Eclipse

Is anyone using the Galaxy Y as a target device when using Eclipse for development? I'm having difficulties in getting the device manager to recognise that the SGY is connected, possibly because of the Broadcomm drivers. If you have managed to get it working, are you running a stock ROM or have you upgraded, and if so, what to?

there is nothing broadcom related to it. just turn on usb debugging in your phone. install kies or samsung usb drivers or a software called pdanet, then eclipse will detect ur phone. i have been using mine sgy as a test phone in mine initial days of app development
