New firmware ota

Got the 3.2 update, here in denmark today.
Dont see that much of an difference.Tab seems a little faster,good thing is still got root after update, and there is an strech icon for screen capility.
Still no phone app appers.

Think samsung made an deal with google and removed the phone app,too
promote google talk app instead.

Got it as well, OTA. 3G tab from Telia.

My fimware is PDA-KHD / PHONE:KG1 / CSC:KI1 (NES)
Anybody able to get the update to 3.2 via ota or kies from this vesion? My tab is p7500 and sim-free.

Your CSC is wrong. Set it to NEE, which is Denmark. You have a "swedish" tablet, hehe.
Do a search for Samsung CSC on market and grab the app that will let you change it. Just make a backup of your stuff first, as the device will get wiped.

[LT15] Next OTA Update (4.1.X.0.1562)

Hi,
After I flashed the LT18_4.1.A.0.562_NCB.ftf I get now an Update notification to 4.1.X.0.1562 but when I try to install it, it failes....
Has anyone this update as an ftf?

You installed the LT18i ICS in your LT15i? How is it working with the 1Gh processor? Is it laggy? I have also an LT15i....

How did you fixed ? i'm getting the Update Failed message after click on update

It´s workiing fine... not so snippy as GB but its smooth enough to use it
I get the update failes message also (as the screenshot show in german language).

So anyone else recieved the OTA update notification? I´m also on ICS on my arc and did not recieve it yet. Maybe it is a bugfix release?

Got the same Problem... after I installed the OTA ICS (LT18) an my Xperia Arc (LT15) i got the message that a new Firmware "4.1.X.0.1562" is availible to download & install, but every try to install fails ! does someone have a idea or a link to the tft ?

I wonder if this is just a Sony software glitch/typing error.

The version number is odd - the same as the official ICS release but with a "1" prefix. This doesn't follow the normal pattern. They normally bump up the last number (it's probably an automatic build number generated by whatever CI/build system they use).
I hope there is a new release that fixes some bugs - we live in hope - but I am sceptical.

The stupid thing is, that it is not possible to delete the notification :-/

I think that a new version of ICS comes with the update of Arc, Play, etc.

The reason for the update might be because see you are flashing it on wrong phone and it might know that's why it shows u the next update because it's trying to revert bk to the correct phone

But it also shows it on arc S.I already tried.I think it's somekind of glitch,so no worries here...

yes, you can remove the notification, with root and remove UpdateCenter.apk from /system/apps
that you can do with rootexplorer.apk or esfileexplorer.apk or SystemCleanup.apk

seems to out no idea if this is a mistake from samsung cause we have not heard anything about jb firmware out for I9100 only a leak/test firmware which was release sometime back lol anyway enjoy and teamhacksung already know about this release.. and it wont help... you can ask the developers why..

Easy to check: just flash Hong Kong latest ICS fw, which is on Sammobile with code TGY. I'll flash it tmr morning and will check for any OTA chances. Now it's just midnight in Australia already. I hope next week we all will get official Jelly Bean.

Version number in source code only shows 4.1(0) - so it seems to be neither 4.1.1 nor 4.1.2.
As I'm not an experienced Android developer, this should be confirmed (or corrected) by an "expert".

[Q] Wanted: Official three uk ROM

Hi,
I have been installing various ROM's on my S3 but now want return everything back to how it was. I have used triangle away and odin to restore the firmware I had from a while back however it does not have any of the Three UK branding or apps.
Does anyone have the files I need to restore the S3 with UK three branding and that will software update officially.

Think my one is a old 3 stock ROM before jellybean just found stock 3 jellybean on other drive let me know I'll put it in dropbox

Just used the file from Sam's mobile. I used 4.0.4 because I wanted to test software update. Now have the three branding and three app but it says no software update is available. Is this correct? Should I be able to update?

Also when connecting to Kies it say's:-

P600 - Kitkat is rolling out in Germany

Ha! And it only took 5 months until the first 4.4 update in the US was released.
Don't know which version it is yet, but the update has 579 MB. I'm currently downloading it and will report the version as soon as I have installed it.

Something went wrong I downloaded the file and tried to install it, but after the Reset it said that the Firmware update could not be installed, I should try with PC (Kies). I connected to Kies but no new firmware was found. I tried to update OTA again, but it said that the newest firmware is already installed (it's still the old one)
I don't know if Samsung removed the OTA update again or my tablet has some issues. I'll wait for other German users to report.

No problem here, even after restart no problems.....

I actually can't believe we have it in the UK!!
Cheers for letting me know @thomlh ... I have auto updates off incase its a duff update as I suffered problems with the last S3 update before they went back and stopped coz the S3 updates had loads of issues. I was stuck with a paper weight for a week.
Is it running smoothly?
P.s. create a new thread for UK update as I dont want to take credit for telling people - that way we can talk about any issues with the update for UK users.

I tried the update a second time this morning and now it worked. Great!
