Hey everyone, I wanted to to try put a cool boot screen
.. one that I can just flash. Anybody have any ideas? Also, the lights on my keyboard and the action buttons under my screen don't like to stay on. Any suggestions for that? And if you know any cool boot animations that I can just flash can you guys post links on here? Thanks.

Flashed this ROM but HTC sense NEVER stopped loading... hooked up on ADB looked at logcat
showed error with MP3HwPlayer and Audio Policy Service keep repeating themselves infinintely............
Lock screen
The lock screen doesn't have the option to choose a wallpaper. If you change your background is not going to be the same of the lock screen cuz you don't have ability to change the wallpaper for the lock screen or put a photo. That is the only thing you need to fix. So far best rom I used in my opinion keep up the good job.

i only can flash v1 ? but v2 and v3 give me a error !abort
i cant get any apps to install on V3 it keeps saying insufficent storage. using an ext4 partition with swap and latest radio if that helps any
best rom i have ever flashed and only hero rom to ever work as a 2.1 on my phone.....is there a way to speed up the lag i get when unlocking to home screen or sliding through screens??? if you can answer me this, please email me at [email protected] is there a way to apps2sd???? i cant install or load any apops from the market because it says the phone is full of memory

And there are some sick looking animations. Has anyone ever tried this for this phone? Was it successful or did it jack it up?
If someone knows that could tell that would be great.

It works great as long as your kernel supports it.
Any AOSP ROM will likely work fine.
Stock TouchWiz ROM will NOT support it, nor will Google Edition. At least not with stock kernel.
Even rooted, those kernels require QMG boot animations. Which this app you linked to does not support.

After applying his mod, you can now run the bootanimation.zip type boot animations provided by ROM Toolbox and Aniboot apps on the Play Store. Such as the link in the OP.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to not have a boot animation and just show the code that is running in the background?
I'm not all for that fancy loading screens and stuff and it would look neat to see the running code during bootup instead.

Which rom u are using, Touchwiz, AOSP, AOKP,CM ?
and what do you mean no boot animation?
If you delete the bootanimation you will have a blackscreen while the device is booting.
If you mean the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) message before the bootanimation is starting then is the answer No, you can't remove that message.
If you want to remove the boot animation after this message while the device is booting then the answer is yes you can remove it.

What he is looking for is to see the commands Android is executing while booting, similar to booting Windows in safe mode. Over on the Inspire 4G forums one of the devs did this, and it wasn't well received. He slipped it into his ROM without telling anyone and they all thought their phones were broken. To make it happen requires modding the kernel.

Yeah Strephon that's what I'm looking for, unfortunately I'm not handy with modifying kernels like that so I guess that's that. But thank you very much for replying guys!
Can anyone here help me? I flashed the sevenperience rom. And i cant seem to change the sevenperience splash screen ( with the birdie thingy )
I want to revert to the original. Or if theres something cooler and better. Can someone link it here? Thanks!!

Dont know how to just change the splash screen but there are many options, for example in the Supermanrom or the King ROM, to change the Splash screen also.
Or maybe flash your rom again without choosing the Sevenperience splash, maybe then you should have the normal one.
I actually didnt choose the option for the sevenperience. But i still got it. And im currently on renovate edge.

Then try to flash the newest compatible bootloader. Idk if it works.
