Dear Devoloper, is it easy to add sms and phone function?
Thx.
It will not be first prio. But SMS is also available on Xoom so that could be "easy".
Dialing will be more of a challenge although the software part could be the easiest

Hi guys,
Excuse my ignorance but I would like to know how exactly this phone works. For example I know that there are few parts that compose the full OS of the phone. There is a kernel, there is a CSC and there are some other parts which compose the phone's functionality.
I don't know if I made myself understood but if I did and you know about a thread or something I would be glad to read it all. I just need the directions as at this moment I have no idea how to search for it, I don't know what words to use.
Thanks a lot and, again, excuse me if I created a double post.

You might be better off asking this in the Q&A thread, this is development and your not likely to get a response.
I think this might be what you are looking for:

Perfect!
Thanks a lot guys.
Now all is clear

Agree.
I had just bought this device and hope there is a place for discussion and technical sharing.
I second that. A dedicated section would be great.

At this time, the i5800 doesn't seem to be popular enough to warrant a forum. We'll keep an ear to the ground.
Hi. Yeah dedicated forum for this device would be really great. Thanx
Bought one too, so a dedicated section would be awesome
As other people here, i own one of these phones (the i5800 version, selled by SFR, France) and i'd be very happy seeing a dedicated section.
thanks and regards

What can you do with a ROOTED sph-100? SPRINT Galaxy Tab
Whatever you want! My key root moves were to get rid of Sprint activation nagging and bloatware, and to use Titanium Backup effectively.
Install gtalk 1.3 apk with video (See themes and app folder.)

Is there a way to keep a few apps like Phone, Messaging, and Contacts running always in the back or something so that they always open quick?

Use Auto Memory Manager to increase the apps' priority. The system will only close them if absolutely necessary.
I found this info with a simple google search. It was answered in many places, including several instances on XDA. Please, please PLEASE try harder to find an answer to your questions. You have started a lot of threads and you aren't a developer.
I promise I'm not trying to be rude.

Don't be sorry If you have trouble finding any answers, PM me. We'll work together to figure it out. If it's something new, we'll share it with the community.
Loving the QuickWindow feature of this phone, but disappointed by the small number of apps that support it and the limited functionality of it. The Galaxy S4 version allows for complete reading of incoming text messages as well as their dismissal. And also to visibility of who your missed calls are from too I think..
It would be great for Google Play Music to be supported also.
So I guess this is a request for development along those lines... Thanks!
Have you tried understanding XDA forums and learn where to create threads. Wow its getting annoying.

No I haven't. Sorry. I knew there were specific forums for specific purposes, and knew this was not the section to post a question, but thought a development request was fitting. I apologize. Admin, please delete thread as I've already posted it in the General Help Q/A section..
