Install it?
If your new installation does not recognize old one, just remove stock Root Explorer with System App Remover.
Buy it, Ratch is actually really naughty and he should not have put that in his rom in the first place.

Now that I'm rooted, I'd like to start up a thread where users can name their top 10 apps where it requires root, I'm sure there are others that have just rooted and would like to see what they've been missing.
Here is mine so far:
ShootMe
Titanium Backup
MyBackup Pro + Root = Awesome!
ShootMe
Market Enabler/Access
Barnacle wifi tether
Ninjamorph
whats so good about ninjamorph
Mine are:
Adfree
Busybox
MyBackupPro
Root Explorer
SuperUser
Titanium Backup
xRecovery
Adfree, TitaniumBackup pro, root explorer and cache mate for root are the essentials.

still thinking on some more
continuing : setCPU, terminal emulator, cachemate
Type fresh - to change your fonts
Root explorer -for editing system files
Reboot widget - does what you'd expect it to do!
And you don't need root for flashlight!

it is true, root explorer also works without root the phone! but not operates at 100 x 100! cmq remains one of the applications required to have and use. http://www.appbrain.com/app/root-explorer-(file-manager)/com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer

Either buy it or use a free alternative. Stop ripping off developers. Also, read XDA rules regarding warez

Please don't encourage warez. A few dollars for a good app is well worth it and will not impact one's budget in any way unless you go on a mass app buying spree.
If you legitimately cannot afford it, there are plenty of great free alternatives

Ok so i sort of made my own rom for myself to use i removed all stock launchers etc etc, i wanted to use launcher 7 as default laucher, not the se one. but when i full wipe my phone it deletes it as its a downloaded app which then leaves my phone without a launcher, so how do i build it into the system like adw is in the cm roms? so it dosnt wipe when i clear all data on my phone. Thanks in advance.
Edit: I would release this rom to public but its only based on 2.1.1.a.0.6 and most people prefer to use Floyo, Hackdroid etcetc. It dosnt have any extra features its just how i like it with all the crap removed lol, Different framework. Its just the launcher bit whats doing me lol.
install the application, then move it from /data/app to /system/app using root explorer...
restart your phone, it should works..
Ok thanks ill try that as soon as I get back from dentist

Here, at the end of this post ("Clean ROM" section): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15391697&postcount=5
And I recommend you Titanium Backup. The free version just works.
i recommend the es file explorer as an alternative.
use titanium explorer
backup the apps you wanna remove and then remove them
even if you run into probs you can restore from the backup

I read WQVGA devices are no longer supported! Well this blows!
I have installed TouchPal Keyboard to use until the next version of the ROM is out which might have an updated Swype. I dont think its as good as swype but not bad.

Swype and XDA have an understanding where we will not allow any sort of hacks or a work-around.
We know that support for Swype is limited on their website as well, but thats that for the moment.
