FYI:
Ysterday I dedected a strange behaviour of battery charging:
While on Tuesday, when I received my SGS II it was charging quickly with the original EU-Charger while setting up my SGS II and then driving it to it´s (still unfound ) limits it loaded pretty fast up to 100 %.
Day 2 and 3 no prob at all.
Yesterday while filling up my 32gb SD card with music and videos over KIES air (SGS II charging with original charger) battery started to degrade while in action.
Ther I switched it off, let it load switched off for 2-3 hozrs and when starting up it showed only 94%.
Did not worry about this.
But last night I left it switched on and charging, showing that it is charging, but this morning found it stuck at 84% batt cap.
Switched it off, charged it for 1 hour, switched on and still on 84%.
Now I plugged in my travel charge adapter (hama USB Charger 5V 800mA), SGS II switched on in idle and within 2 hours it was full at 100%,
I suspect the original charger to be faulty .....................

For the first time after 2 weeks, this morning battery was %95 and I sat it on the keyboard dock and it was not charging. I tried the same old cable with and without USB extended directly on Tab.. no charge. I switched to my old 7" Tab and it began to charge, then again to 10.1 and it started charging but the battery level showed %65. It had suddenly dropped from %95 to %65 during this time. I was getting very good battery life. In standby mode I got more than 3 days. Should I be concerned?
Hi,
I have a really weird problem with my Nexus 4 for a few weeks now:
I connect it to a charger and it tells me it's charging, it even goes up to 100%, however, it doesn't actually charge. At some point a few minutes after disconnecting from the charger the battery percentage suddenly drops to a low value (somewhere around where I would expect it to be without charging).
As example what I mean here are some things that happened during the last few days:
One day I had it connected to my turned off PC (USB provides power anyways) and the next day it was turned off and when connected to a power socket charger it showed 0%.
Yesterday evening I plugged it in and after a few hours unplugged it because it showed 100%, this morning it then showed 30% (it's highly unlikely the battery drained this much doing nothing in 6 hours).
About one hour ago I rebooted it because it was only showing 13% (I "charged" it about 1 hour, before that it showed 10%) and after that it said the battery has 2% left.
However, sometimes it actually charges, but since I can't tell the difference between charging and fake charging it's starting to really piss me off.
The charger is not the problem, my Nexus 7 charges whenever it is connected to the charger and also it didn't work when connected to my PC either.
Is the firmware capable of interfering with the loading process (I have AOKP installed) or is the Nexus 4 simply damaged?
Any other idea what could be the cause of this problem?
EDIT: As previously said it says 2%, but it definitely isn't at 2% for real since it's like this for hours now. This sucks...

You can try to wipe batterystats.
I got my G2 like amonth ago, lost the USB cable that came with phone the first day. Bought long cable off ebay and I am using it with wall charger that came with the phone. The problem is yesterday when I got up (I usually leave my phone charging overnight) it was at 75%. This morning when I got up it was 27% and it was charging all night. Checked battery usage graph and it shows like phone was not charging at all tho there is a sing in notification bar that it is charging. Tried few other chargers from S3 and S4. Doesn't matter what charger I plug in it estimates that battery will be charged to full in 30 HOURS. Can anyone help me how to fix this ?
Thanks
Last night I put my Nexus 10 on charge. I switched if off (it had around 50% battery remaining), plugged it in (via the supplied micro usb cable & adapter), waited for the little noise it makes when you connect it for charging and went to bed. Today I came to use it (it had been left charging for over 9 hours) and the battery was completely dead. Wouldn't even switch until it had been left charging for a minute or so.
Has anyone else heard of an issue like this? If the cable or adapter was faulty I could understand it not charging but I can't understand it losing 50% of it's charge when it's switched off.
So, I'm using the OEM charger that came with the phone. For the past 2 months the phone wasn't charging properly. It says it's rapidly charging, but the estimated time left was showing anything between 3 and 6 hours. In reality the phone charged to a 100% in about 3 hours. At first I thought my power outlet was the problem because it didn't behave this way every time. For that past 2 weeks it always charges slowly and sometimes even drains my battery. Last night I plugged it in and the phone had 40% battery, when I woke up the notification light was blinking red and the phone was off.
I think my charger is the culprit because the battery life is fine. Should I buy a new charger and if yes, what charger do I get because I can't find an original one anywhere ?
Thanks in advance.
