i am planing on downgrading the phone and in my understanding downgrade from a NANDROID BACKUP dose not include downgrading baseband. is there anyone who can answer me? thanks
You're right nandroid doesn't restore the radio/baseband. You will have to do it separately via fastboot or recovery

So like an idiot, I upgraded my firmware to MF3, which is fine for now, BUT I used nandroid manager to restore some system apps by mistake which were from the previous firmware and now they are not working. Can someone please upload a fresh nandroid backup of the ATT GS4 MF3 for only the system apps? Thanks
If you don't have other modifications to the system, just flash the MF3 unadulterated ROM to the stock slot using Safestrap and flash the root package from the thread or reroot with the sd card method

If I'm using a 4.4.2 ROM and I want to restore a TWRP 4.2.2 backup, do I have to flash a different baseband first? Or, is the 4.2.2 baseband included in the TWRP backup?

no you have to flash the jb baseband and then immediately flash the back then you should reboot and should be back on 4.2
Where is the 4.2.2 baseband?

ive had the AT&T d800 for a year and a half now. i used ioroot to root the phone, and autorec to have a custom recovery. whenever i try to flash a rom, it always fails without doing anything. i dont want to go through the trouble to revert the phone back to stock jelly bean just so i can flash roms again. how can i flash roms without fully restoring my phone back to jelly bean?
Current Version
Android: 4.4.2 Kitkat
ROM version: Stock D80020k
TWRP: 2.7.0.0
tired of stock always being buggy...
Did you heard of autorec? It restores jellybean bootloader which allows you to flash roms which still uses the old loki method without the need to restore back to antthing else. Btw I also suggest to update recovery. If you do autorec, choose the right version for your model.

Yes just flashed the bumped recovery. If you would ever upgrade to the kk bootloader for some reason like custom lp stock roms then you have to have an bumped recovery else you will get an lg security error

Hi guys,
I flashed Jasmine 5.0 and I have a safestrap backup that I want to access without flashing it. Is there any way to access media off that without flashing it? Is it even possible to flash and 4.4.2 rooted stock ROM from Jasmine 5.0? I've heard a little about virtual ROMS but I don't know much about them. Is it possible to load my backup on a virtual ROM?
Thanks all!

You might be able to access files in the backup using titanium backup.

Hi all,
I have a KLTE Galaxy S5 G900i.
I successfully upgraded it to MM, rooted and installed TWRP 3.0.2.2 test2.
Prior to doing this, I made a nandroid backup of the previous Lollipop OS using TWRP 3.0.0.0.
I need to restore this backup temporarily, but when I do, it bootloops.
Do I need to Odin Flash TWRP 3.0.0.0 before restoring the nandroid backup? Do I need to wipe/format any partitions?
Thanks,
Donald.
Any custom roms are still using lollipop bootloader. You can Odin back in the meantime

Thanks for your reply, but I'm not sure what you mean??
Odin back??
Cyanogenmod are still using lollipop file systems and marshmallows are completely new. There a few carriers are still on the rollout once that's done cyanogen will merge the latest bootloader to their roms. To answer your question you need a stock 5.1.1 from sammobile and flash through Odin and root.
