-Transition animations may not work on builds not produced by CyanogenMod Team[default left unchanged].

Boot Animation Installation:
[tip: use R/W permissions in your file explorer]
2)Use a root-file-explorer(I use "Root Explorer" but something like "ES File Explorer" will be fine) to go to "/system/media/" and rename "bootanimation.zip" to "oldbootanimation.zip"
3)Copy "bootanimtion.zip" from where ever you downloaded it to(likely the folder "download" on SD Card) to "/system/media/"
4)Reboot phone to make sure it worked.

1) are you rooted?
2) clockworkmod is a Recovery...which is only available to those who are rooted
3) go find out(from someone else) what the word "flashing" means when it comes to android
4)flash "old scripting" first... if it fails then you need the regular file.
5)DONT FORGET TO BACKUP!!!!!
in any case if you dont know what something I said means, then GOOGLE IT.

Hey people heres my personal theme. I thought id share it and see if anyones intrested.
Its basically stuff from different themes, all mixed together with a few of my own touches.
I take minimal credit.
I loved the blue glow in the carbon themes by trinityEon and BrightSilence so i wanted to have that throughout.
I also used trinityEon's icons and black glass widgets from Bugless beast rom (thanks to everyone).
The sense launcher, lock screen, notification bar and other black bars were edited by me to be darker.
Special thanks to Leedroid, without him this wouldn't be possible.
Im using it on LeeDrOiD V2.3 but its said to work with most LeeDrOiD(Desire) roms.
Its also reported to work with :

-Starburst
-LeeDrOiD 2.3d
-LeeDrOiD 2.4
-Alex-V 2.3
Its based on 2.29 framework. If your rom is too, its likely to work.
If youre rom is not mentioned then it has not been tested.

Installation :
If not installing on a full wipe, jump to step 3.
1) Install ROM
2) Boot into android (at least once to build caches etc...)
3) Reboot into recovery (clockwork mod)
*OPTIONAL*4) Wipe Dalvik cache (Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache) ROMs with Data2SD script should NOT wipe the dalvik cache, because it will break the script itself and damage the ROM.
(I flash this over leedroid 2.3d without wiping the cache but with other roms you may have to)
5) Install zip from sdcard (choose zip from sdcard > *theme name*)
6) Reboot system now
7) Wait.....
Enjoy the eye candy!
updating (Dont wipe dalvik cache) :
1) Reboot into recovery (clockwork mod)

Done.
Problem installing? Turn off signature verification first.

take all framework-res.apk I attached earlyer (its fixed)
update-script is in META-INF\com\google\android
it should look like:

Thats cool. I updated the download link with the fixed script file as mendozinas said to avoid any problems.
Flashed it today and it went through fine. The only thing that botheres me was the dock buttons seem to pop out, ranther than the original that seem sunken in. Also wanted to keep the original sense weather clock. Cant that be done?

Ill happily make a dock how you want it.

Ive heard that it works with 2.2a so it should work with your version. If your gonna try do a nandroid backup just in case.

There are many things that I'm working on but this is what I'm able to give you right now. The ROM is stable and fast.
It was rebuild from scratch on JS7 base. All mods were implemented clean to the new framework and no files were modified than the ones that needed modifications for adding extra features.
The themed version comes with my beloved Sensation. I hope you'll like it.
I take, however, requests for other themes. I do not want foreign frameworks in my ROM!! They create problems including battery drain. So I will rebuild those themes on my framework.
This release focuses on battery life so a lot of parts have been tweaked to help achieve the best results
This version as well uses undervolting! If you know your phone doesnt like it or you wanna be safe, using 7zip, open the ROM,s zip, go to system/etc/init.d and remove S_volt_schedulerthan you may flash the ROM .

install Firefox (if you dont have it already installed)
install this extension
restart firefox and click on the download link.The download dialog will appear, from the list of options, select DownThemAll! Chose a folder where you want to download and hit Start!
*Tip: for faster download, in Firefox go to Tools - DownThemAll Tools - Preferences - Advanced - Advanced download control and set Max. number of segments per download to 10 and hit OK.
This is a download accelerator so please do not try to use it with hosting sites like rapidshare and megaupload, it will not work. The only one I know it works is mediafire.
Instructions for making your own battery mod / custom icons set on UOT kitchen:
Extract framework-res.apk from the downloaded ROM (themed or unthemed, they will both work) or from the addons which are marked as UOT
Go to UOT kitchen
Chose what the type of battery you want. Play through the options and choose the one that suits you
If you chose SCB with %, Version Z, Custom type, colors, the next step is for customizing the types and colors. As well, is your choice.
If you chose SCB with %, Version [A-O](that O might change in the future) there will be a step to chose the type.
After this click next.
Now you will have an option to chose if you want to customize Icon types. This will change your notification icons, if you want to change them then select themed icons set, if not just click next.
Next step is to personalize the notification bar. You cannot use this function as the notification bar in Samsung ROMs is contained in twframework-res and UOT kitchen cannot process that file. So dont change any value and click next.
Now you may choose a custom boot animation. My ROM already comes with a custom bootanimation but if you wish to change it, I cannot stop you. So, if you want to change it, select from the dropdown menu /system/media/ (Cyanogen based ROMs) and then chose the boot animation that you wish and click next.
Now you will be able to chose a set of custom windows animations. It is fully compatible with this ROM so you can chose the one you like. You can preview them in the left after selecting. Click next when you finish
Here you upload the framework-res file that you extracted from the ROM archive. Click on first option of choose file and browse to the place you have framework-res.apk. Chose it and click next.
Now it will upload it to UOT server for processing.
You have to wait for the cooking to finish and you will be given a zip named UOT********.zip
Download that zip, put it on your sdcard and install it from recovery
You're done. You just customized the look of your phone by yourself. Good job, I bet it looks awesome

During installation there will be copied few files on your internal sdcard:
Titanium backup of themed launcher pro - be aware that this will rewrite an existing backup of Launcher Pro
Titanium backup of fancy widget
Sense dock and a blank icon in a folder called Sensation_content
After installation, go to TitaniumBackup and restore (App+Data) LauncherPro and FancyWidget
Hit then Home button and you will be presented with an option to chose your home screen.
com.sec.android.app.twlauncher is themed TouchWizLauncher
LauncherPro.. well, is the themed LauncherPro
Select Launcher Pro, long press the screen and add Fancy widget to your home screen. If the weather icons do not appear, make sure you have network location enabled. The widget needs to know the location for which the weather should be shown.

This is a wipe release, backup your apps with TiBu. And, yes, is fully compatible with UOT kitchen.

I guess what I should of asked is do I need to go back to stock Eclair 2.1 as per the general instructions for installing a ROM? Or can I just use clockwork recovery.

Not necessary. If you are running a 2.2.1 ROM currently, you dont have to.
I didnt go to stock for a month now and I flashed god knows how many times.

INSTRUCTIONS for a Fresh Install
(1) Download from links below, www.igottadroid.com or ROM Manager to assure you are getting the latest and genuine download.
(2) Do a nandroid backup of your device
(3) WIPE ALL FROM RECOVERY
(4) Flash the MR2 Radio (if you have not done so already)
(5) Flash the ThunderStickGB_RMOTA_mecha_signed.zip
(6) Flash The Kernel.zip (which ever you selected)(one is included with the rom but may be outdated)
(7) Reboot
(8) Get a cofee and return to setup your phone.
(9) ENJOY

THE FULL DOWNLOAD WILL AUTOMATICALLY WIPE YOUR PHONE
This ensures a fresh install of ThunderStick will perform as expected and that there are no unusual problems between phones. Most roms only have problems because people are not wiping before flashing, so expect to loose your data (anything not stored to your SD CARD) if you are coming from a different rom or are flashing the full download.
ThunderStick Updates are not complete roms (just the MODS) and will not wipe any part of your phone and in most cases will not require a wipe.
ThunderStick Desktop Notifications and Downloader
The update notifier will run any Windows PC.
It is a simple program that retrieves data from the internet and allows you to check for updates and download them with out opening your web browser. It can run in your system tray as well and will Display pop up balloons when a new update becomes available. This is useful for users that are between ROMs, dont like using ROM manager or cant find previous versions on the net.
It will also allow you to view previous versions and download them and copy them directly to your devices SD card.

Of course, thought it unnecessary to post that since most (if not all) the GB roms currently have that as a standard. Updated first post to reflect this though just too appease the crowd.
Hate to say this, but have got about 10 reboots so far. Barely get to the home screen. Haven't had an issue like this on BAMF or Gingeritis. Make that 11 reboots.

What does this rom offer over any other rom here? I see nothing different except for the theming. Why not put up a blue theme pack in the other forum?
Like anyone else, I'm learning something new and am just sharing my work. Currently the features are basically the same, but this will feature more things as I learn them. Theming is pretty simple so this is just a starting point.

What apps froze?
Honestly I've been using it all day,using GPS and taking a drive while listening to slacker and connected to bluetooth. The only problem I had was navigation voice was silent when a turn came up and listening to slacker.
Also had a FC on tapatalk not Rom related I don't think though.

The Sense 3 Version available from TSN and Rom Manager.
First boot takes a super long time, after wiping the Dalvik cache, it has to rebuild it, and at reboot is where it happens.
This is a deodexed ROM now so the cache files build as your use of the device develops. T His means you will have faster reboots the longer you use the device but on the flip side you will have a lengthy booting process on first boot.
After rebooting let it sit for about five to ten minutes.
Walk away and grab a coffee cause your gonna wanna stay up and play with your newly MODDed ThunderStick all night...
(to install ThunderStick Notifier you can just hook up your phone with USB and answer yes to install TSN. If you answered no previously go to Window Explorer and open up the Virtual Drive with the ThunderStick Icon, Copy TSNUPDATER.exe to a folder of you choice and run it this will download and install the latest version of TSN)

wow.... that was probably the most beautiful boot animation I ever seen.
I'm running ThunderStick now and I have not had any issues. I have had the phone unplugged for 7 hours and used it moderately and it is still at a 90% charge. Voice and Data connections are flawless.
This rom is Blessed w/RIDICULOUS Speed and Spectacular. I don't think it evens consider OCn..Curiousity is always there though..

ThunderStick Notifier is a windows app that allows you to receive the latest updates and mods available for your device. It is packaged with the ThunderStick GenII and you will receive the option to install it when you plug in your phone to your PC with USB.
If you opted to not install ThunderStick notifier, all you have to do is plug in your phone and a virtual CD-ROM drive pops up in windows explorer. On this virutal CD drive you will find an EXE file named TSNUPDATER.exe. Put this in any folder on your PC and run it. It will download and install the latest version of TSN. On this virutal drive you will also find USB drivers for your phone and the VZW Media Manager if you like that Run the TL-Bootstrap.exe to install VZW Media Manager.
This feature sets a new Bar for the ROMS you normally run on your phone and will make setting up and modding much more user friendly. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Just gave TSN another update, you will get a notification of this soon if you haven't already. This will help resolve problems with ADB installations.
There is now a button that pops up in the lower left corner if your ADB installation is not detected.
This button will let you enter the path to adb, and will let you use adb from the command prompt as well from any folder location. (sets a path environment variable)
Update to 2.1.1 will enable OTA Notifications
You can only update to 2.1.1 if you have a v2.1.0 installed.
Do not do this with any other previous version

I want really sure how tethering worked since I don't have a tethering plan and I never had any luck with wifi tether either. Haven't tried it on a while though.

Update to 2.2
Woke up to the update symbol. So, without hesitation - off I go into update land. I select the one with the sense 3 (love that lockscreen). Doing this through the ROM Manager.
Stuck at splash screen on reboot.
Tried again - stuck on boot animation.
Battery pull - still stuck at boot animation.
Help.
Was running 2.1.1, only wiped Dalvik
Until this, I was having a great time with your ROM.

After the success of MIRACLE V4, now comes... APOCALYPSE! Based on latest CyanogenMod 7.2 RC3 by vo-1, APOCALYPSE was modded in order to satisfy the majority of users concerning both looks and performance. It wasn't an easy task as the level since MIRACLE V4 was already set high. APOCALYPSE exceeds that level! And for that, a lot of people contributed, some with their desire to help by making things and some with their own mods in other threads from which I took the opportunity to adapt their work in this rom. Installation Procedure - Step 1 (rom)
1. bοοt into CWM5 Recovery
2. wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik
3. format cache/data/system/sd-ext
4. MOUNT DATA
5. flash APOCALYPSE-17.06.12
5. reboot and complete the setup wizard
NOTE 1: At this stage you probably won't see the status bar. Reboot again to show up or plugin your usb mount cable
NOTE 2: At this stage you probably won't a wallpaper. Choose one with QuickPic
Installation Procedure - Step 2 (ICS Layouts)
1. Reboot into CWM5
2. mount system, flash Layouts APOCALYPSE-patch and reboot
NOTE: After phone boots, status bar is gone, theme is also changed. Don't worry
3. Reboot phone into CWM5 again
4. mount system, flash Layouts APOCALYPSE-undo and reboot
5. Reboot phone into CWM5 one last time
6. mount system, flash Layouts APOCALYPSE-patch, reboot
Finishing GPS Set-Up
1. go to system/etc/gps.conf
2. use root explorer, long press that file and open with text editor
3. replace "europe" with your region according to this guide
4. Save file, no permissions needs to be changed. The .bak file can be safely deleted

Hints and tips:
1. XPERIA S Launcher supports adw icon packs. Choose your pack from launcher preferences
2. Wallpaper Wizardriii is a cool app that lets you crop walls portrait or landscape way. Tweak it's setting for optimal performace
3. You can also install QuickPic and use it as your default image viewer and use Wallpaper Wizardriii for croping portrait walls
4. To mount USB after applying layouts, you need to press image on screen... there's no button
5. ICS Theme version is 032-build-408
6. ICS Layouts version is 012
7. acpather v5.31 was used to patch apps and framework
8. XPERIA S Home Launcher version is 0.9.1b

-- Low screen backlight when booting phone but brightness gets back to normal level after a few secs. It's a FireKernel issue and maybe this was done to save battery
-- On 16.06.12 update torch is working but not in status bar as a power widget.

Ok...Achep for some reason suggest in his thread that the patch-undo-patch procedure must be done in order for layouts to be installed correctly. I don't know why but he's the one created the patcher. That seems to be true cause if you try to integrate the patched apps and framework-res into rom prior flashing you will always end up with a bootloop. Strange but that's the way it is.
Also the installation procedure is in 4 steps and must be done in that order. For example, after testing I found out (for some weird reason) that if you first do the layouts installation and then the AE installation, status bar is completely gone. Maybe it's the launcher that causes that problem.
Anyway, hope I answered correctly
