Just saw this tweet a few minutes ago.
Looks like we're in line for an update next month. With the Telstra OTAs I don't really care too much (unless we see something unique in this OTA, which I doubt). But at least for the majority of people who aren't flashing SBFs there's a glimmer of hope.
Any idea what the update will include? Hopefully getting rid of the cap.
My Atrix is working rather well, sometimes these updates do more bad than good.
I knew mid-may was way too early but next month is alright I guess.
Not too late at all...2 months after everybody else is awesome!
Hopefully we'll might get our first "Official Stock SBF" to fall back on out of that...

The Bell update will likely be full of the same bloat and using it will fragment development of our custom pseudi-rom and themes.
There is no way this is Gingerbread since bell branded updates are ALWAYS behind others.
Since that french SBF came out, I started to regret slightly my choice to go for a ATT Atrix ...

The French SBF is real good, definitely one of the best SBF's out at the moment IMO. I hope that when Gingerbread is released we get more of these bloat free SBF's (fingers crossed!)

Us bell people really just get a slap in the face everytime an update for an android phone comes out.... just saying
sent from my rooted, canadian Motorola Atrix (4G)
A software update is now available for the Bell version of the Motorola Atrix!
- To download the update manually:
Go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software Update
- I'm not sure what the size of the update file is, but I would suggest downloading it over WiFi as opposed to the Bell network so you don't exceed your data allowance and incur extra charges.
- Ensure that your phone is at least 50% charged before attempting the update. Idealy, charge it beyond 50% to be safe.
-- The updated version is v37.23 and brings Android Froyo up to version 2.2.2, and contains numerous updates:
Upload Data Speed
Increased upload speed at which data can travel on the network.
Data and Voice Connection
Improvements to prevent interruptions to data and voice connection.
Screen
Improvements to prevent screen from freezing.
Skype
Improvements to call audio function so it is easier for the person you called to hear you. Please note this application is not pre-loaded on phone, but is available for download from Android Market.
Wi-Fi
Increased functionality by enabling Yahoo Email to be sent over a Wi-Fi connection.
Display
Improved International Roaming Warning Message by simplifying user notification so that it only appears on the screen when you move to a new network.
Happening Widget
Improved Happenings Widget to ensure that you receive the latest updates across the social networks you are connected to such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter.
Calling
Improvements were made to incoming and outgoing call functionality to ensure a more seamless experience
Expanded Language Support for Webtop
Accented character support within Webtop application.
Improved Support for POP/SMTP Email
Support for SMTP outgoing servers that do not require authentication
Improved Exchange Performance
Improved Exchange Email/Calendar/Contacts performance
Hopefully someone will post the file or download location on here. for those that made the leap to another stock rom.
Coming in very slowly. I didnt catch how bit it was...
Upload speed fixed, SWEET. I hate being gimped.

Yeah, I seem to recall that Motorola has a special section of their website for Canada where you can download Canadian updates.... though a quick look for it now and I can't find it. I'm sure someone will dig it up, if it exists.
To anyone who installs this update, will you please report back here and let us know if your network data speeds have improved, if you lost any data from your phone, etc?
Personally, I've got way too much on my phone to be brave enough to install the update without hearing some confirmations from others first that it's a problem free update
As far as I know, no data is supposed to be lost during the updates... but... well, you know....
I'm kind of scared, my atrix is working very well.
I'll wait a few days.
Nice to see any updates though.
its 43MB so not a full SBF. Managed to get the notification by editing my build.prop
Will report the data test in 5 %
I get 2295kbps upload speed sweet!

So far, after update...
1. Launcher Pro still intact.
2. I use Multicon to squeeze in a bunch of apps on my homepage and it has populated properly.
3. I see Super User listed in my Apps with my allow list intact. BUT when I try to do somethign liek use my AdjBrightness app to adjust the screen brightness it does not actually do anything. Re-rooting may be required. Scared .
4. disconnected from WIFI, Speedtest from Ottawa to NY, NY
1st test
Ping: 85, Down: 2607, Up: 2895!!!!!
Yea Baby!
2nd test
Ping: 88, Down: 2148, Up: 1541
3rd
Ping: 80, Down: 1563, Up: 1617
I'm Happy with that. All test were from inside a building.
Just finished update - no data loss. Upload speed is faster.
LauncherPro seems to be smoother....still playing with it.

I just got my Galaxy S about a week ago and I was very disappointed to see it didn't have Swype installed. I also noticed it was missing the SocialHub app which, doesn't really break my heart but was more of a "Huh..." moment. I do know the Korean version is slightly different since it includes the DMB Antenna for TV and whatnot but I was curious if anyone else knew about this and if there's a way I can get Swype on my phone. I'd also like to flash some new firmware on here because my Galaxy S is lagging quite a bit and at times is completely unresponsive in which I have to either attempt to power off or just remove the battery. I am using a task killer but I think it's more than just killing a few apps to solve my problems. It really doesn't seem to be nearly as snappy as I've seen in several videos. Hope someone can answer some of my concerns. Thanks!
Not sure if you tried this.
Try long press the text input field until the "input method" dialog box appears. Swype should be selectable from the box.
As for it being unresponsive, before trying to flash the new firmware, try to find a program call 'Advance task killer" and have it automatically kills useless tasks that continues to run in the background.
Other than that, if you are still unhappy, then flash away!

And if it does not appear for selection, go into setting, locale and see if Swype is there but unticked. If unticked, you should tick it before it can be eligible for selection.
Being laggy is a serious issue affecting all models, it seems. I'm too very disappointed with that, but I'm waiting for Froyo to come around to fix it.
I suggest you to flash JG3 or JG5 firmware. My SSGS seems faster than the original firmware after flashing. However, you should use Titanium backup to backup some Korean app that you like.
This European firmware has Swype kb, I can guarantee.

That's a fine way to brick the phone.
22.Can I flash an Asian ROM on my European device or vice versa?
Flashing should work without any problems. There are no known compatibility issues as of now. If any should arise, flashing back to Asian firmware is always possible.
Check your current ROM by dialing *#1234* to make sure you do not have a Korean variant of the phone (which is NOT compatible!).

@eaglesteve & @kcharng
I tried and checked both suggestions when I first got the phone because I really wanted to try Swype but didn't see the option. Only Samsung Keyboard existed. Now I have that and Swiftkey Beta since I installed it.
@kcharng
I do have Advance task killer installed and have been using it at times but for the most part it's pretty laggy. There's also the ever occuring GPS issue as well and I've had the camera mode sort of lock itself on my phone so I can't press the home button to exit. I'm hoping there's a Korean firmware that I can flash to fix it all or that Froyo will be my Godsend.
Thanks everyone for the helpful and kind replies btw. I was afraid I'd get flamed, call it first post jitters.

I also have the Korean Galaxy S. I had my Korean friend call up Samsung Service to deal with some of my issues. They didn't include Swype because of the double consonants in the Hangul, seems dumb that they didn't have an English only option. I've tried to use the apk from the I9000 but it just FC on me. The stock keyboard, really, really sucks on the Korean version, but right now I'm using Swiftkey which is really great for prediction but kind of frustrating otherwise. I've heard the Droid X has a great keyboard, so I'll try that soon.
I personally only manually kill apps with ATK, I don't let it background. At times I get laggy, but overall I find the device very responsive. FYI, if you didn't know they've put out two firmware updates already for the Korean version, connect to Kies if you haven't already.
Please reply or PM me if you have any questions. I wouldn't change the firmware, Korean version isn't easy to get international support for and also we will be the first to get Froyo, no reason to delay that! Also, I've noticed other features missing, like text-to-speech isn't as universal in our version.
Also you can try to root your phone.it is worth it just to run app like auto killer, cache cleaner, titanium backup.
Personally auto kilter is a much better app than ATK.

Is there any support here or elsewhere for the Korean Root? Then again, I think I'd wait at least 2-4 weeks until I get Froyo before rooting.

I think the biggest missing feature is tethering, but I guess that'll come with Froyo anyways and SKTelecom has advertised they'll move to unlimited data with free tethering in August to support this and other devices on plans 55,000 won and up.
*Edit* Tethering is not missing, I just didn't know the name of it, it's found in the same exact place as it is in the international version, wireless & network, mobile AP.

Swype
Not sure if you've already discovered this but..
I just upgraded my korean galaxy s firmware to DH09 with Samsung Kies and it included swype and a really good RAM clearer. Makes it a bit more snappy. Actually it may be too good because it can clear the widgets out to.
Not sure what else it has yet. Still playing with it. Actually someone just called me and an option to record the phone call was on the screen.... Can't say I'll ever use it but interesting.
If this is what Eclair 2.1 is like then Froyo 2.2 is going to be amazing
Cheers

Hi I'm new to this site and new to my phone as well. I also have the korean version of the Galaxy S and was able to upgrade to DH09. Im sorry but do you mean when you say good RAM clearer? I noticed that my phone has 326 RAM and the I9000 has 576MB RAm. Is there a big difference on that? Also, can you tell me where I can find the radio? I only found the radio app in the TV widget. But if I try scanning channels, it can't find any. Is it because I'm in the Philippines?
Does your phone also limits sms characters to 80 letters? Coz mine does, and the standard number of characters in the Philippines is 160. But I just downloaded handcent sms and I was able to send more characters
Thanks in advance!
I'll try to update this thread since we don't get enough answers! I kind of think we should try to get an "official Korean FAQ" going, as this thread is inappropriately labeled for general questions and issues going forward. Also, I edited one of my previous posts bc I'm a noob who couldn't find the tethering settings, I believe at the time of writting it was available, though it could've come in a fw update I think I just overlooked it.

Hopefully your radio is an easy fix, I had a similar problem with the DMB until I figured out how to work it. I did a little test just now to make sure the functionality is essentially the same, and in my experience, - it is.
On the top right corner of the device (if you are looking at the screen) you will notice a little cutout break in the device, this is the DMB antenna. In my apartment it is the only way I can find radio stations, even having headphones in (the way normal phones sans tv antennas work to get stations) wont work without having the antenna up and out. Obviously an eye-sore and a bit of a design flaw, imho assuming it can try an alternate if both are present, however, I don't have much of a use for the radio so I can look past it and I don't even fully understand the need for it with the TV but Korean's are just used to having these janky antennas protruding from their phones. My iRiver mp3 player didn't even need a DMB antenna to pick up stations, it worked fine with headphones, I'm not really sure why they necessitated the need for the antenna.
In my test, the only radio stations that came up were in the national scan, but this is probably location dependent, try to scan metro and national to see if you can find what you are looking for, if nothing comes up there is a technical problem with frequencies being scanned or something else.
Regarding the memory, this is how all the SGS variants report their available memory. No SGS, AFAIK, reports the full amount of memory and there has been plenty of debate on how much memory the units actually shipped and last I read Samsung never released an official presser on the quantity. These questions might have been answered over time, by Samsung or teardowns, or what have you, but this isn't unique to the SHW-m110s.
Regarding the SMS letters. We have an 80 byte limit on our phones, this means 80 english characters and spaces and each Korean syllable (composed of upto 4 characters, or letters if you will) will count as 2 bytes. I'll assume this has something to do with the carrier restrictions on SMS/MMS. Handcent might help us get around this, but might not, if it's truly a carrier issue. In your case, have you tried just sending something with 100 characters? For us it's a "soft-limit", meaning we can type 150 characters but it requires to be switched over to MMS, but you might not find the same with your carrier. Do a test if you like, especially if you prefer the stock app it's worth a test.Try to send a bigger text and check online to see how they charged you. In my case it automatically switches to MMS and they are treated the same for cost/phone plan purposes so it makes no difference to me (with the exception of having to switch 3G on when I have it disabled, ugh). With my previous dumbphone my long text messages would actually be sent as 2 text messages, another thing you should check to make sure isn't an issue to you (I think handcent would be able to get around this, again, I think this is a Korean carrier limit but it doesn't change our pricing...as a matter of fact, if handcent sent 2 50 character messages it would be more "expensive" if we go over our limit than if we sent 1 100 character MMS.
Hope that helps!

Yeah, I did discover that, also the latest firmware gives faster 3G data connections. If you are ever wondering what is going on with the FW upgrade go to naver and search "갤럭시s ____" fill the blank in with the updated FW build. Then translate the results from the page you've found.
Regarding Swype specifically, they gave us an old build, which is a bit disappointing. The latest/greatest has voice input, amongst other things. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

It seems that the Korean government is currently blocking this for competition reasons. This really pisses me off because, first, at least last year KT was growing faster than SK which means SK should be given every opportunity to make changes. Second, and more importantly, one of the president's platforms was decreasing the price of wireless services, this move would have to be followed by a similar move by KT if they want to be competitive so we'd all have cheaper options for massive data. I'm about 70% sure I'll write him a letter personally, I just think it'll be thrown in the trash because a 6 year old could probably articulate a better argument in Korean than me, of course I could have someone do the translating but I actually want them to be my words and it to be that much more authentic.
Hi,
Yes I do think we should have our own thread. It will be good in sharing things we find out about our phone. Our country doesn't support DMB yet that's the reason why I think the Radio or TV is not working. I found a link giving all the apk files and I tried copying it to my phone. But still it won't work. I guess I really won't be able to make it work. I found the list of all the apps from android forums.
I tried installing Handcent SMS and I was able to address the 80characters problem. Now I can send up to 160 characters per message.
I'm excited to see what Froyo can do for our phone.

Yeah, I'll write something up and post a new thread within a week. I'll try to get it translated to Korean because at least a few prominent hackers in Korea visit so if they can share their knowledge in either language at least we can start to ask questions a bit easier and in a setting we are more comfortable. Plus, if we get their devs in house a bit more then the rest of the GS community can learn more from them.
Anywho, I'm glad you replied because I have a question. What is the cellular radio frequencies and technologies you use in the Philippines. I want to know more about the world comparability of this phone, so any info you have on the radio tech in your area and what bands this can access would be great.
Engadget is reporting that the update will come starting tomorrow with a 4 day rollout and will fix the 3g upload issues.
Can someone with more seniority post a link?
I'm too new to post the source link. Here's the quote though:
"Good news - an update will be released tomorrow 9/30. It will be rolled out over a 4 day period so not everyone will get it on day 1. I will have the standard MR information (fixes included, rollout schedule, etc) available tomorrow morning and will post it in a new featured thread."
Here is the link: http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/29/sprint-epic-4g-update-coming-tomorrow-should-fix-3g-upload-iss/
I hope i dont have to add crap again to do this. If so i guess ill do it.
This is good and all...but is there any news of a 2.2 update? Coming from a nexus one, this phone seems severely crippled by it's software(or lack thereof).
I look forward to the update, but if it doesn't get better soon, I'm going to return it. I have 3 weeks left to return it...we'll see how the tmo g2 looks when it comes out...
No official word yet on Froyo, but the rumblings I've been hearing are either the end of September (so tomorrow or this update) according to support people in the UK, or the end of October according to support people in Spain. No support people in the US have said anything firm about Froyo.

the phone lacks flash for one. to advertise the phone as a media powerhouse and i cant go to hulu, one of the largest free movie sites blows chunks. who wants to use the media hub and spend 12.95 per movie or even 3.99 to rent when i can order netflix and watch online. by the way you cant do that with the phone as well. i have 2 weeks left and as it stands i will be taking the phone back. i got the epic for personal use and i have an evo for work. the epic is faster and the screen is better but functionality wise the evo is better and i think it has to do with not being updated like the evo is.
so the evo is more functional just because it has flash? by the way, hulu blocks all mobile platforms, so even when 2.2 comes you won't be able to use it.

Im more wanting the froyo update.

Froyo's not a big update, I don't see what the fuss is about. It actually slowed down the browser speed (pinch zoom, etc) when it got pushed out to the Evo. I'm happy with how things are, personally.

I agree, Froyo caused many more problems on my Evo than it fixed. Actually, other than flash (and even that is not all that) it didn't improve anything and it broke Pandora and others with LOUSY sound, it removed root and it removed RTSP. Since then, many of these things are possible to work around, but the bottom line is that in my opinion, Froyo is over hyped.

There was a way to get around it on one of the other forums for 2.2 and adobe flash. I don't remember how, and I'm sure by now, Hulu has patched it as they were patching exploits daily.

I really only want it b/c we "think" TW3.0 will be with it... I want the EQ.
Why wouldn't you want the choice to have the latest OS?
JIT compiler and flash is enough for me to want it. If you don't want it just don't upgrade?
Official announcement and release notes
A sticky at Sprint's Community forum today has release notes:
9/30 - Samsung Epic Maintenance Release

Large emails lag in upload speeds
Increased 3G upload speeds
Update your software
1. The software will be automatically downloaded to your phone since this is a recommended update.
2. A System update screen will prompt the user to 'Install now' or 'Install later'.
If 'Install later' is selected, a reminder will be sent once or twice a day to install the update.
If 'Install now' is selected, the phone will power down and then reboot.
Important Notes:- This update will take approximately 7-8 minutes to download and 7-8 minutes to install.
- The new software version is: S700.0.5S.DI18
- This update is available OTA (over the air) and will be pushed to your device. It is being pushed in stages, beginning on 9/30 12:00AM EST, and will be rolled out to users over several days.
- Your device must be on software version DI07 to perform the update to DI18. If you are still on DG17 or DG27, a Sprint Service and Repair Center should be able to update your device to DI07. The update from DI07 to DI18 is not yet available to the Service and Repair Centers. As soon as it is, this post will be updated.

Hey Xoomers! It appears that wifi-only xoom owners are also having the updates pushed to their tabs also! I have not received it yet, but be patient, looks like all Xooms are being updated!
https://supportforums.motorola.com/message/380602#380602
could be an accident. looks like people over there are getting silenced about the update
From the sounds of it, this was meant to go out to their preview members only. I guess someone jumped the gun and didn't bother to let them know they weren't supposed to talk about it.
Which is only a guess, since the corporate rep on the forums has been very vague - only a single post with a "maybe" and then a bunch of posts insisting that people who have stated they got an update check their email.
I wonder if Motorola has really internalized the fact that there are, like, four or five other vendors for these tablets coming out in the next few months - many of them with very, very similar hardware. Not communicating with their tech-savvy audience seems like a poor way to convince people to recommend their tablet over others.
They need to share this ****!!!

i got the update on my WIFI ONLY xoom i tried installing it it crashed on the android with exclamation mark, so i restarted and its back on 3.0.1 and says its up to date
DAMMIT
not only in usa
also reported in my country
Seems moto launch a experiment
This is pretty disappointing. The update obviously exists and works on the wifi xoom but google won't release it yet probably just to make Verizon happy.
Are people really going to go out and buy 3g xooms just because the update on Verizon came first.

Hmm Being in Denmark and having purchased a US Xoom Wifi I wonder what to do. (Stock 3.0)
So I did the following ...
Added a VPN tunnel to USA. (had previosly brought VPN access)
Set the date 1 day back, to let the Xoom look for updates.
" no cigar! "
Set the date 1 day forward (today´s date)
Still no luck -
I wonder if the update is really rolling out
Can Anyone confirm Xoom Wifi is really getting 3.1 right now ?
Is there Anyway to "push" it - (besides the date change procedure)
Have a good one

I also have a US WIFI only Xoom in Europe and i'm impatient
I downloaded the update from development forum, made a host USB cable and updated my Xoom manually.
I must say that everything that i hoped for is fixed in 3.1, so i'm really pleased with my Xoom now.

Read the Guide thread, all information is there, including a link to how to make a host cable. If something is still unclear, then just ask.
Not according to my conversation with Motorola today. Can you buy a wi-fi only from Verizon? Just wondering if those are still branded differently and that's why they're getting updates.
For now 32GB is plenty for me so I'm not exactly screaming for the SD card update. But I will be a little disappointed if I have to wait weeks for my update when Verizon got theirs already. There were several items in the list below that I was really hoping to take advantage of. I'm not exactly crying over the update just yet though, because I'd rather do the official OTA update than download directly like others have been doing. However, I will pre-qualify all this with...the rep I spoke with didn't seem to be the most knowlegable and appeared to be reading from a script based on the responses I was given to some other questions I asked. So take this with a grain of salt.
Ann: Motorola XOOM with Wi-Fi tablets and other variants of Motorola XOOM will receive the update within the next several weeks.
frost: will this update include the sd card support?
Ann: It does not.
frost: will that fix be implemented any time in the near future?
Ann: It's enhancements are:
● Enables movie services including Android Market Movie Rental via full HDCP / DRM support
● Enables support for full Adobe Flash 10.2 release
● Picture Transfer Protocol Feature Support
● Bluetooth(R) support in Gtalk
● Bluetooth(R) mouse support along with further Bluetooth(R) headset support
● Adding Proxy support for Wi-Fi network
● Resizable widgets
● Additional shortcut key support for Bluetooth keyboard
Ann: Yes. A future software upgrade will enable the SD card.
So I've changed my Date & Time and still haven't recieved my 3.1 Update for my Wifi Xoom.
Any suggestions....???? (Besides being patient...... just can't do that....)

Funny, I started reading this thread when I remembered I haven't checked on my Xoom WiFi yet...and what do you know....it was waiting for me. Installed successfully.
BTW...my Xoom was stock and unrooted...just FYI before anyone asks.
Funny thing...no Movie app as was reported by others. What gives.
Just to add to the chorus. bone Stock, no update.
3G here in Detroit area, bought the minute the doors opened on launch day. No update yet. Been trying to be patient (only checking every hour now), and haven't had free time. Got some free time tonight, though, so will load it manually if it's not appeared by then.

stock wifi. nothing yet. New York
Stock Xoom Wifi in Fort Worth and I have not received it either.
Update: I just got off the phone with Motorola Support and they informed me that the Wifi versions will not received the 3.1 update for another 5 to 7 days.
On a positive note they did say that there is now a fix for the micro SD card and it will be pushed out about the same time as the Wifi 3.1 update!!

BS...I got it this morning. Can't test SD...don't have one on hand...wait until I get home from work.
- Performance wise: I thought it was fast already, so I haven't noticed much.
- Scalable widgets: I like very much...something I loved on my Atrix (MotoBlur)
- Browser Performance: Let me just put it this way...you can finally load the XDA's Forums home page
- USB: Can't test it yet as I don't have a regular-to-micro converter.
Still, I can't find the Movie/Video app
no update here either, stock wifi only

Were you rooted or stock?
And how can you say BS.....
I have come to realize I love my xoom more than it loves me. Everyday, more than a few times, I ask it are you the most current version. Without fail it always answers yes. I just can't turn my love off so I will continue to ask it and hope that soon it will tell me the truth.

Lets put it to a vote! Which is the best stock firmware to use. I was actually happy on 1.2.6 and upgraded to 1.8.3. Can i downgrade if i upgrade using pudding 2.3.4? I find so many threads saying yes and no.
Version: 4.5.91 - Downgradable or not?
Version: 1.2.6
Version: 1.5.2
Version: 1.5.7
Version: 1.8.3
I have tried only 1.2.6 and 1.8.3, i seemded to have better battery on 1.2.6, but slightly better signal on 1.8.3 which is the reason i switched, but didnt have issues with calls on 1.2.6 until i flashed again so i may just need to do a factory wipe. I am rooted, custom boot logo, BL unlocked, sideloading enabled, CWM recovery, custom boot animation, and have the radio files ready to be flashed if the signal/radio is better on 2.3.4.
After voting if you please could post why you like that version and if you voted for multiple versions please post why and which ones. Thank you.
If any of you have or have found the change log notes for any version above please post them.
The new 4.1.57 software update is 17MB in size and brings along the following improvements
Bluetooth: Improved multimedia experience with Bluetooth devices as well as the ability to use phone with additional headsets.
Fingerprint reader: Improved fingerprint reader performance.
Battery: Improved battery performance for longer battery life.
Screen: Display will turn off automatically now while charging directly on wall charger.
Phone stability: Improved stability resulting in fewer occurrences of touch unresponsiveness and/of programs quitting unexpectedly.
Car dock: Improved performance of car dock and 3.5mm jack.
Motorola’s v4.1.83
Data Speed Increased speed at which data can travel on the network.
Data Connection Improvements to prevent interruptions to data connection.
Screen Improvements to prevent screen from freezing.
Email Improved ability for users to receive email notifications so you know when you have a new message. Also, improvements were made so that you are now able to use the same email login to access both MOTOBLUR™ and YouTube.
Skype Improvements to call audio function so it is easier for the person you called to hear you. Please note this application is not pre-loaded on the phone, but is available for download from the Android Market.
Wi-Fi Increased functionality by enabling Yahoo Email to be sent over a Wi-Fi connection.
Display Improved International Roaming Warning Message by simplifying user notification so that it only appears on the screen when you move to a new network.
Happenings Widget Improved Happenings Widget to ensure that you receive the latest updates across the social networks you are connected to such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.
Calling Improvements were made to incoming and outgoing call functionality to ensure a more seamless experience.
This vote will also help me decide to flash again except to 2.3.4(4.5.91), then i will start looking at whether to use pudding or the official SBF, if you have any thoughts on those two SBF's please post as well. I aint gonna use the OTA after what i read.
What is the point of this? Obviously 2.3.4 is miles better than the Froyo builds.
I myself would love to see an old android build get fruitcaked. Even pre-froyo, it just would take me back lol. But I don't think I'd want it for my daily driver. Just to mess with.

Clearly you have every opportunity to post your own poll on the international builds. Instead of getting your thong all knotted up about this, how about trying something that contributes even a minute amount of value instead of insulting an entire country...which quite frankly makes you look just as bad as those your targeting with your ire.
I am focused on versions that i will be using. The point is that some people like older versions, not everyone has upgraded since some can never go back. If you dont like the thread then dont post or vote, its that simple.

2.3.4 of course
Its just funny how only the American builds were included.. I particularly like the telestra 2.2.2 firmware for froyo. There's not much bloat. The ota is just... meh. Cm7 or froyo IMO.

Once again i cannot use those builds hence all the posts about you creating your own thread. Anywho i decided to take the plunge and flashed manually pudding 2.3.4, in teh words of McDonalds "im lovin it!".
This post as mentioned above was to help me decide and see what people that have had the phone longer that me liked. I was sitting on 1.2.6, then jumped to 1.8.3 and then decide after the help of the good XDA members yesterday to hop onto 2.3.4, if i could use any of the other builds i would list them. I listed all builds that i am able to use.
