Anyone know of an app to list all the activities on the phone? Like in LauncherPros Activities List (Shortcuts -> Activities).
Like:
com.ebuddy.android.ui.StartupActivity
com.ebuddy.android.ui.LoginActivity
com.ebuddy.android.ui.MainActivity
What would be even better is some way to view Activities being triggered in a log which I could access via ADB

As you will know, the HTC Bookmark Widget sorts bookmarks by creation date only. Not what I wanted..
I just found out that if you use Bookmark Manager (app available in Market) to rearrange your bookmarks, the HTC Bookmark Widget will show this new order!
Bookmark Manager can also sort alphabetically, will show correctly in Bookmark Widget too.
And: if you set the sort order of the browser's bookmarks (Browser -> Menu -> Bookmarks -> Sort order) to 'newest', this list too will show the sort order as set by Bookmark Manager.
So: great app (free and donate versions available)!
Cheers, Marc
I put in "Bookmarks Manager" to the search on the market but it did not come up with anything. Do you know if it goes by a different name? Not being able to change the order of the bookmarks widget is so annoying!
As a side note I hate the way the market is set up. Terrible.
How does the Android community ban apps that ask for crazy permissions? For people who root and have some level of sophistication - we're not going to fall for bad behaving apps.
But for all those who don't even know what permissions are, they need to be warned.
Take a look at this one:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.antonio.fashion&feature=search_result
Comes from a banned company called Plankton that rebranded itself as StartApp.
I feel sorry for people that install this and can't get rid of all the nasty stuff they injected into their device.

I have a problem with an app that supposedly just displays pictures but needs access to my phone, my browser AND starts on boot. The network communication and SD modify I understand since it needs to retrieve the pictures from somewhere and save them in the memory other than the internal one but the rest of the permissions are just completely unnecessary.
Wow that's crazy, I fully agree!
Wow! Those permissions are crazy. That company should be banned. People are having a similar issue with the Amazon "Free app of the day" today. It's a game that is asking for a ton of permissions. There were a lot of complaints and the developer remarked on their Twitter account that they accidentally uploaded a version with "remnant permissions." Ya..right. Too many companies are getting away with this "we accidentally uploaded a test/alpha/beta/developer...etc version of our app." *rolls eyes

I want the option of adding Evernote Food, and some other apps to automatically share a webpage from Google Chrome.
I have disabled "Lenovo User Experience Plan" in Settings -> System -> About Tablet. I think I have disabled/uninstalled every pre-installed stuff I could without rooting. Yet, when I connected the tablet to the computer and saw the log, I could see something like,
Code:
D/HttpUtil.httpsPost: LSF_DEVICE_PUSH:com.lenovo.lsf.device :https:url: https://psbn.lenovomm.com/pushservice/2.0/appfeedback?lpsst=[some string-encoded binary]&versioncode=[number] body: [{"i1":"","i2":"","eventName":"installapplist","applist":[list of all app package names, versions, etc]
I have searched the web for that address, and the only thing I could find was this. https://www.hybrid-analysis.com/sam...78442528b051275118f17fef7a8?environmentId=200
Why does Lenovo need to know the list of all my apps? Is this legal?
Hi,
Is anyone else having issues not being able to disable instant apps in Chrome/Google search results?
(Obviously it's disabled in Settings > Apps and Notifications > Default Apps > Opening Links > Instant App (toggled off) and Instant App Preferences > Upgrade Web links (toggled off))
Yet when using Chrome/Google search and look for instance anything on twitter, it will open Twitter no matter what. This only is an issue in Chrome/Google widget. Firefox is fine.
Steps to reproduce Issue:
OP8 Pro with OOS 10 or OOS 11, latest Google/Chrome/Play services/Twitter app installed.
1) Use chrome or google search bar widget
2) Search anything on twitter using google
3) Click the search result (a tweet for instance)
4) Link opens in Twitter app and not in Browser no matter the above settings
Setting Twitter app defaults to not open any links doesn't change the behavior.
Rebooting/Cleaning Cache/OOS Upgrade doesn't affect the behavior.
