Hi
since last week i got this weird bug where when i activate 3G connection i loose all my Reception, buy only activating Data it works fine, but 3G just shuts down the Reseption.
anyone else get this problem? or did anyone know a solution?
thanks in advance
how on earth do u enable and disable 3g?
In the setting menu under enable Data usage!
i think its only available on t-mobile handsets
On my unlocked Omnia it's under Cellular on the Settings menu (which I swear said something else before I had the antenna repaired!).
Hello,
I got a new Lg G2 D802 a week ago and have some srtange issues with it. Although my phone seems connected to my GSM provider about once a day i notice i cannot receive/make calls. Only thing to fix it is by rebooting the phone. It tried going in to airplane mode but it doent help and GSM signal still appears to be full while airplane mode is on. Basically its like i have no gsm signal but phone says its full.
This happens while i m sitting in my office with full GSM signal, another colleague next to me with the same device and provider never had this problem.
Has anyone else had this problem? Do you thing its a hardware or software issue? I tried searching for it but didn't find anything relevant.
Thanks in advance.
I also noticed in Settings the "Mobile Networks" option is grayed out when this happens
On my K3 Note, I can't pick preferred network mode on ANY rom/firmware.
I've tried everything, but it always sets the default preference which is 4G>3G>2G.
What I need though is permanent 2G and I can't set it this way. (4G signal is weak on my operator and then it keeps switching between 4G and 2G over and over)
Is there any way to entirely disable or block 4G on a phone so it will never set that mode again?
Any help would be appreciated!
Any help guys? No one knows what could be the issue?
I tried using the *#*#4636#*#* code and set the "GSM Only" but it still doesn't work.
Is anyone else having the same issue?
Edit:
Also what I've noticed is that while using CyanogenMod (atm), it stays on 2G until I turn the screen off. Then it goes back to 4G.
After turning the screen back on it then goes back to 2G again.
same problem here when dialling number it said invalid MMI code and when switching to 4g the other network appear no signal.. hope someone here have solution. i try several roms but same problem issue.
Well after a lot of fiddling, it seems it works on the stock firmware, but the mobile operator as himself has quite troubling network.
But I think we are slowly coming to a conclusion..
Hi,
I have a SM-N910H and since months i have an issue with my 3G and network connection.
When i set the network to automatic 2G/3G, the phone can't recognize my network and i have a message telling that i'm not registrated on the network, and when people called me the phone rings for them but for the Note nothing happens. When i switch to 2G, the phone works perfectly and i can connect on EDGE :crying:.
i've reset the phone many times and update it with the latest ones but nothing happens.
has anyone faced the same issue?
If i root the phone and put a custom rom can solve the issue?
i love so much my Note so i don't want to loose it.
Thanks in advance.
Ever since the oreo update, my phone has a tendency to show the reception icon with a small cross at the bottom after going in and out of wifi range.
So there is effectively no data coming in. After investigating further i see in the phone info dialor code *#*#4636#*#* that its frequency went to TD-SCDMA.
Weirdly enough i live in Europe and it should go for LTE, there is no TD-SCDMA here.
Everytime i have to change it to Global and change the data renewal frequency to immediate to get no data problem resolved, but then i can't make or receive calls anymore.
Only a reboot gets it fixed. Is there anybody else having this issue or found a solid way to fix this? Before the oreo update this was absolutely no issue.
I already tried factory resetting it, but that didn't help at all.
Also, my phone isn't rooted and havn't tinkered with it yet.
Any ideas?
Don't change it to LTE only. Try other options, for example LTE/TD-SCDMA/GSM. Set your preference to anything else you find useful, but not LTE only.
