i am using Verizon imagio, but unlocked and using other service provider. i could not connect to internet on my pc using the "Modem link" the same way i did on "internet sheering" app on rhodium. currently using xp sevice pack 3 on computer.
can somebody tell me how to connect, pls!

When i connect usb cable, choose internet sharing, and i can use 3G for my computer , my phone is unlocked, and use in Vietnam . Why you can't ?

I have got o2 xda mini. I have gprs service active and am working on internet very fine with it. But i want to use o2 as wireless modem for my desktop pc. I have installed dialer software and driver too'. Modem [HTC USB Modem] is shown in modem list of ms windows xp. But while connecting i am getting Remote Access error 692 something like that. I have done all settings as per mannual. Can you please help me?

I have ppc o2 xda mini ii. I can use internet on my ppc. I use spice-nepal GPRS. I use active sync to make connection between desktop and ppc using usb cradle. I am trying to access internet on my desktop using gprs but I am not being able to use it. Can any body help me?

just upgrade to WM6 and use the Internet Sharing function which is infinitely better than the Wireless Modem utility

Is it posible for my desktop PC to accsess Internet Connection using my cradled WM6 02 XDAII?
i tried these steps which the other forum told me:
1. Configure your Internet settings on your PDA.
2. Sync your PDA to PC
3. Launch Internet Sharing on PDA
4. Choose USB as PC Connection and choose your Network internet settings on the Network Connection
5. Tap Connect
... but still i cant have an Internet Connection on my PC Windows XP

my unit is connected on most of the time to my PC through cradle, purchasing a bluetooth for my pc would be my last option amigo

I have a O2 XDA Mini S ( windows mobile 5 ) . I have wireless internet at home and am able to connect to my desktop and laptop.
I am able to connect to the wireless connection on my mobile too, but not able to connect to the internet ..ie not able to connect to any internet sites.
Do i need to reinstall any drivers , if so where can i get them and which driver can i try updating..

You need to use "Internet Sharing" and "Wm Wifi Router".
Those two should get you started.

I have a problem with my Htc. Although it appears that I'm connected to the net provider, I cannot access web pages. The wi-fi is great but when I try to the net provider, it tells me I cannot connect with current connection settings. I tried to change the settings but the result is the same. Any help would be great. Thanks

I had the same problem, i got T-Mobile HTC Touch2, i configured internet settings, but it didnt work, So i found an app here in xda which made it for me automaticaly. It is called HTC Connection Setup.
It Works. Thank you very much. I found HTC Connection Setup 2.5 from this site, installed and works.

I want to use pc internet in my mobile
connection between pc and mobile: USB cable
pc internet: VPN
I set up vpn connection in my mobile
whenever pc and mobile connected and I click on mobile internet icon, mobile chooses GPRS and not pc internet.
Only when i use WMWifiRouter software and ... option ... tools ... USB ... Switch mode ... serial on USB ... ok I can use pc internet in my mobile
But I want to do that without useing WMWifiRouter software.
Can you help me How I can do it ?
or How i can use pc internet in mobile.
