You can use App Admin (free on Market) to remove system apps.

Puts the wifi in high performance mode during wifi calling
Thanks for the tip with WIFI calling and Ganoptimizer. These two were killing my battery and driving me nuts.

Is there something that will provide an enhancement to memory usage on a dinc that requires root. Like preventing apps from automatically running in background. Tired of using a task killer when memory gets down to very low levels.
Maybe a Rom that's efficient at doing this.
Anyone have any ideas?

I think Autokiller is what you're looking for.

+1 on autostarts. Instead of killing your apps, autostarts prevents them from starting.
And why do you need to kill these apps? Have they tried to injure you?
Seriously... you probably don't need to kill them unless one of them is acting up. The phone will free up memory as you need it.
Those look good. I'll try them out and see what works better.

I haven't any of this, but maybe it will help you
I know the phone will free up memory as needed but I'm ocd about it and hate that at times it gets down below 40 and bogs the phone down. Tired of seeing apps start up by themselves. I used titanium to freeze apps but now don't remember what's frozen and what's installed on my system. Need something automatic and easier to maintain.

Awesome, I'm glad it may help... I just downloaded minfreemanager myself
Edit: only bad thing is changes are lost at reboot just using minfreemanager

Autokiller does exactly what you are asking for...
Does anyone know which tmobil or htc crap can we remove. I am on stock 2.2.1. Confirmed list would be great.

I'd like to see this list, too.
I removed Asphalt through Titanium. But when I tried to remove the Monopoly demo, the phone froze up, needed battery pull, app remained.

With root explorer, I safely deleted:
Monopoly
Rock band
3 Yahoo apks
Stock app
Demo video
May remove some more in the future, but I feel better with some of those blatant pieces of bloat gone. What have you removed?

Possible Temp Solution
Have you tried going into Manage Apps and Force Closing Wifi Tether?
I do force closes whenever that happens and it works like a charm.

My phone has been showing the sync icon a lot lately and while it is there my phone it's really slow. Is there a way I can figure out what it is doing the synching? This has really only been happening since yesterday.
Sent from my GT-I9000M using Tapatalk
You could go to "Settings" => "Accounts & Sync", deactivate the three options, and then activate them one by one, to see when your phone gets slow.
If this doesn't solve it, and your phone is rooted, try DroidWall from the market. It let's you block ALL applications (even system level apps) from getting network access. Then you could test (again) one by one which is responsible.
Lbe guard.

Also, I noticed a feature in the GPS settings that says locate phone when lost or something to that effect. I have ICS beta 7.0 installed fyi. How would I go about using the service?

I know you can find the device with latitude. I don't know how though. You will have to Google that. That's the reason I have where's my Droid app installed. It already saved me twice. One of the best apps ever.
