3.0 Honeycomb music player Download

Before downloading make sure you make a backup of the original music file using titanium backup and uninstall music.apk
Then reboot phone and install honeycomb music player. If it works for your give me a thanks

there is no chance to install without deleating the original music file? Dont wanna root the phone, had some problems with the latest update due to i deleted a lot of original apps, like amazon and stuff

What is this "Jumper Test" that installs with it?

Should this work with the Nexus S on 2.3.1?

This is what the music app should have been in 2.1, comparable to the gallery. Nice work here google, this looks great.

Good but a bit laggy in scrolling compared to other google apps....

Works also fine on MicroMod v.20.

I hardly use my phone as mp3 player but to get music files to show in the media player they gotta be in file labeled what exactly ?

They do not have the be anywhere specific. Android automatically finds any media files as long as there is not a ".nomedia" file in a folder where media is stored.
Also, this is old news and is in the wrong section.

There was a leak of a bunch of beta apps back in April

Registered, and 10 minutes later I got a market update for Music with the Music Beta name. Installing now!
This is indeed the new player - but it won't do streaming till your account is provisioned.

Don't think you need to register, i just got the update and don't ever recall registering? Woot!!

The music.apk update doesn't give you music beta. You have to go to music.google.com and sign up for the beta.
Has anyone received an invite email yet?

The problem with this whole Google Music thing is that I can't buy music from Google and have it automatically go to the cloud... That's why I love Amazon MP3 and that's why I will continue to use it.

I can see i can update the music player from marked and get the music beta cloud, mine will not install this update it says the item dosnt exist, can someone please uploade this apk?

Got the updated app... still waiting for the official invite. I'd imagine most Xoom owners will get in pretty quickly.

You won't see any differences until you get an official invite from google. The app doesn't change anything other than giving you the ability to use it when its available.

I just received the invitation email... but it still doesnt work. It says that I have already requested a invitation.

I just received an invitation as well, so I accepted it and can now browse the Music beta site. Of course, it won't really do me much good until I get the software update as well, as browsing the site on my 3.0.1 Xoom is laggy. Go figure.

Just released - Neutron - audio/music player. Absolutely the best sounding best looking player on the market. There are no insturctions yet but an FAQ on the developers site. Once you figure out the loading procedure you will love it.
Go to the thrid screen and select PLAYLIST. It does NOT read your external SD card yet as far as I can tell, but I am sure it will as dev fine tune the app. 5 day trial version available. I love this app!!!!

I use Songbird usually, but the new "default" Google Music for the Music Beta lately. Unfortunately, it doesn't have lock screen controls. Major downside.

This program looks like it's a power house I'm sure, but the UI looks like a prolapsed bung hole. Missing a lot of key features that other music apps like PowerAMP feature.

What I did for a lockscreen widget is use Widgetlocker. Then you can just put the standard music widget on your lockscreen.

Wireless Tether, No More!

I was browsing through market at my apps and seen this. Sprint has figured us out. I have RARELY used this app on account that I have constant internet connection and I no longer have a laptop now.

Wtf Is the big deal? If you have this app, that means you are rooted. And that means you are MOST likely using a custom rom, which means that if you are using a fairly new aosp rom such as cm7, it had it built in and works very well. Most sense roms either come with wireless tether already installed or has the sprint hotspot unlocked. So what's the problem?

Never said I was looking for another wireless tether app, just was informing others that it is no longer able to be used (if they were to download it from the market like I did). If you actually read what I posted, I stated that I RARELY used the app and havent done so in 3 months, errgo, it isnt a necessity! I was shocked to see the app being discontinued because, AGAIN, I rarely used it. Didnt know whether this was new or old news. They also took out PdaNet, but left Wifi Tethering and Klink

As you can clearly see, the first page in my app drawer is not even filled. There are two more pages in the drawer (clearly needed since I have more apps than shown, and they all only fill up that far. I'm going to reboot to see if that fixes it, but I wanted to share this odd occurrence before doing so and to see if anyone else is experiencing this.
FYI, I am unrooted running 4.2.1. I had just bought the thunderstorm live wallpaper and had the free version installed, when it gave me an error about already being installed. I ignored it, set up the wallpaper the way I wanted it and then opened the app drawer to this. I have no apps disabled. LOL.
I'm not saying it's aliens... But it's aliens.

That would be my first question as well. Holo hd would sometimes sort of switch to horizontal when I use vertical continuous and it would be stuck on the first screen. Switching to the home screen and back would fix it.
