My Atrix is not diplaying any contact pictures (mostly Facebook) next to my sms conversation. It just shows androidlogo for everyone. Can this be changed somehow?
For mine all I had to do was enter the Facebook app and open up my friends list and scroll down all the way so it loads all the pics..It refreshes the SMS contact pics

Hi,
When you open up messages or email using the tabs on the HTC UI, it always opens to the last message/mail, is there any way you can chane it so that messages always opens up to "All messages", and email to "Inbox"?
Also can you change it so that when you go to photos and videos it goes straight to albums rather that showing the first photo?
Cheers
Hello fellow HD2 Users,
Is it possible to have a picture thumbnail of the contact on the upper right corner of the email message preview just like the one shown in the attached file? i am using T-Mobile US version.
Any help is much appreciated!
I posted the exact same request a while ago. Seems it is not possible unless some creative fellow wants to give it a go.
I accidentally found that picture and noticed the contact thumbnail photo on the upper right hand side. It seems like this is a rendered 3D image of the HD2. I'm not sure why they had it like that for the built-in email app.
I have the picture in non-conversation mode texts and e-mails - but only if the text number or e-mail address is in my contacts (and that contact has a picture attached to it).

It shows up on the email tab screen (i.e. like the screenshot posted)? For me, if an email is associated with the contact, the pic shows up to the left of the From: field when you click into the email...
I'm coming from a blackberry and it would pull the photo from facebook and show it next to the text message. When I go to text with the Epic it will show the name of the person and the blue photo place holder area but not the photo of the contact, If I click the photo place holder and and pick to view the contact it shows that there is a photo associated with the contact. It just will not carry it over to the text screen.
Also, Facebook or Email(hotmail) will not come threw, I have to click them and manually get the new email/fb comments etc. or I will never see them. I have them set up to get new info every hour but nothing ever comes in on it's own.
ok I fix the pics in text, I open the facebook app and made it unsync with my phone, I then went to the contacts screen and went to "get friends' and pick facebook then check the ppl i have in my phonebook and it it work.
I also am getting emails now but still no FB notifications.
I have a tidy phonebook, so I only have about 60-70 contacts. I like it that way easy and fast to find the people I contact. However when I want to send a sms and select the phonebook it list about 300 contacts/items. Not only does it split all contacts into 1 line pr phonenr/email but it also display my email contacts etc.
How can I change this ? The settings button does nothing :crying:
I want it to show only my contacts with mobile phone nr.
Hey everyone. I have an annoying issue that has reoccurred multiple times now. I've used a workaround of just manually adding my picture to it before.
In my Galaxy S5, the "My Info" local profile shows the standard avatar, and only my phone number. I previously manually added my own picture, just so I would see my own picture in the messaging app.
Is there a way to link the local contact with my Google+/Facebook/Gmail picture? I have a contact entry for my own info under "Me" that I manually entered in Gmail years ago.
Just to clarify, this is the contact entry that appears to be locally saved on the phone, undeletable, and the contact picture of that entry shows as your picture in the messaging app.
