They look awesome
Hopefully more integration between Sony devices comes with it as well. Pairing a DS3 with this would be sweet considering it's supposed to be "PlayStation Certified".
the foldable one looks awesome. The demo of playing games on it looked really smooth too.
Way too much bezel for my liking..
Cool, another way for sony to give up our personal information.... Hurray.....

S2 = psp basically lol

This is how I use my EEE Pad

Watched this right after the thread about the Transformer vs. Toddler with drumsticks. Seems they could be related threads. LOL
Awesome! One of my favourite Cinematic Orchestra songs, and a sweet job on the drums too - I also liked the head mounted camera.
I am aiming to do this with my guitar setup, so it's cool to know there are other musicians using their TF for things like this, too.
+1
Its almost too coincidental...
Can I throw out a request? Cannibal Corpse - Make them suffer
great video

Me too
Bad @$$ job on the kit. Loved it.
I play some over sized Bonham Ludwig's myself.
Still looking for a good drum kit app for the TF. Would be cool to do a "Moby ****" Solo on the kit and than switch to the TF for a cool timbali interlude.
and than back to the kit.

thanks everyone for your feedback!
XD I use my eeepad for the same thing minus the drums and add a guitar

I wish Guitar Pro had an app for Android like it does for iPad. I'd use mine for the same on drums.

no kids here. I don't think I want kids. I wouldn't want anything to happen to my transformer.
Here's a new one sans the seizure inducing camera motion.
Nice drumming but I was distracted with the fact it sounded like you were sitting on the mic this time.
U play very well, glad u shared this with us,
Yeah the mic sucks real bad. It's a gopro. The mic is tuned for use outdoors (in high wind) so it didn't surprise me that it sounded bad. I'm working on a better way to do this using my drum mics and layering the original track on top of the drums w/ video editing s/w.

Beats Audio.. Now comes to Gnote :)

Just a heads up, we can now get the Beats Audio advanced equaliser software on any Gingerbread ROM.
I've just flashed it through Cwm and it works like a dream so far.
Go ahead and try it No harm in flashing even if it is all marketing /placebo.

Too bad Beats Audio sucks, I'd rather stick with my PowerAmp. Configured correctly it'll blow away Beats with ease.
Still thanks for letting people know it's out there, might come in handy for some people with other taste in music, as I heard it does the job with dubstep.
Thank you very very much for sharing this.....and thank to the person who has ported it.......I bought HTC beat audio headset and it were lying down as i was not using it coz of the low sound.....but now the real fun begain.....i am really loving the beat audio sound .....very goood .....best quality sound.... thank you once again
You are saying that I can use this app to produce better sounds on my default Samsung headsets?

Is it this just a lib improving sound quality or an actual app? Flashed it and dont see any apps in my drawer nor anything about set up

Guys try DSP Manager and Power amp.... using the two combined will blow Beats Audio out of the water!
This is frakkin' awesome! Anybody know where to get a Beats Audio boot animation (that doesn't have the HTC loop in it)?

flashed it but, how do you activate it ?? can't find anything anywere
Found out in the original thread op linked. It is indeed just a lib for sound improvement. Nothing need to be done after flash, just leave it to ur ears to determineif it is working.....

Copied the entire file with Root Explorer, but can not hear much difference with stock music player with headphone (Sennheiser IE8).
P.S. Also tested it with my desktop setup:
Graham Slee Solo II headphone amp
Sennheiser hd800 headphone
Music 320kbps ACC
Stock music player
The music play back still sound a bit flat and lifeless as before.
Revert back to stock files.
Beats audio? Wow! Now I can make the audio quality of the Note worse! Seriously, anyone who buys into this nonsense needs their head read.

+10 lol.
a bit off topic... but im thinking about buying a pair of Sennheiser HD 205 over ear, can anybody tell me if they are total waist of money ?? my OLD philips over ear can't be powered proberbly with the NOTE, so im affraid that the HD205 will be the same..
right now im useing Ibeats by Dr. Dre but would prefear a good not to expensive over ear headphones... been looking at Beats SOLO but think the price is to much
Why do people keep falling for Beats and Bose crap - Shure Pioneer and Seinheiser is the real deal - Pair it with a Cowan or use PowerAMP and you got porn in your ears.

A decent headphone amp will solve your problem. If you're just looking to drive a big pair of cans, the Fiio E5 will do the trick for $25-$35. If you want volume and superior sound, the Fiio E11 will run you between $50-$100 depending on where you shop. Either way, you'll get your volume.

Voodoo Louder will save you the money on a headphone amp BTW.

I totally agree Cowon J3 + Shure SE535 = oral orgasm. Beats are so overrated

Have you tried VOODOO Louder? It's a software solution that uses the SGN's audio hardware to increase headphone output. By default, the Note doesn't use all the volume at it's disposal. VOODOO Louder allows you to do just that.

Damn, I've bought Mini Motor Racing and Mass Effect without even checking if these two games have Xperia Play controls.
Anyone knows?
Actually, I assumed Mass Effect would be myself and bought it. It would appear not.

Ah crap... Made the same mistake... T_T
Mass Effect definitely does not have XP gamepad support and they do not plan on adding it.
It is a pretty good game however, just change the controls to manual aim.
Cool, I want to buy GTA III but is Region Locked!
I want the original not warez.

Mini Motor Racing does not support Xperia Play as far as I can say.
The game is playable with touch controls anyway, you basically need just 2 fingers - one for steering the wheel and one for using nitros. It's good fun too.
Is this NBA Jam compatible with Xperia Play?
I bought it but I can't use the controls

Working just fine for me. Once you get into the game you use the controls, the menus are touch only.

Anyone using a motoactv?

So it's been a real pain for me to go to the gym and use my phone as an mp3/YouTube/Pandora player because I have to use an arm band which always screw's up my screen protector . I've found this cool workout GPS mp3 player called the motoactv and I was thinking of buying it and using Bluetooth to tether from my n4 and just using that for music .. Problem is that I feel like they have been kind of neglected and nearing end of life with it .. Saw some really cool custom ROMs for it here on xda but I'm still unsure about it ... Does anyone know of any other product like this ? Aside from the Sony smart watch ? I would like to have something that can clip to an armband and be a watch and have cool features hah

The Kickstarter Pebble had a similar like function. Also there is likely going to be a new Android Smartwatch, Sony, Asus, and others. It is now on the uptick.
