Any one have Android 2.2 ROM for Elfin?
Or Android OS from Motorola Charm for Elfin?
htc elfin android rom full
there is a rom made by wing linux v1.4 for elfin, but that is still a beta version.
Major problem in that is it does not have
sound,wifi and camera support
V1.5 will be without such deficiencies.
So keep waiting,I am also waiting for that.

Hey guys - I know I am not the only one that has NEVER had the same level of performance from the various custom ROMs as I got from the very first 1.43 version of the European/Asian version of the HD2. Unfortunately, the T-Mobile USA version of the HW is incompatible with that ROM... Since it seems to just be the HTC Sense that has the problems, does anyone know of a ROM with the original Sense running on one of the more recent builds of WinMo? (Something running on 6.5.x would of course be ideal.)
Wow - over 100 views and no takers? Can anyone at least explain why this cannot be done?
I have a Question, originally im an X1 Xperia user...but I plan to buy an HTC Touch Diamond 2...i have read that there is an official upgrade for Touch Diamond 2 from WinMo 2.1 to 2.5...
however no where it mentions if its a Sense UI 2.5 or the same old Sense UI 2.1??
Also, if its 2.1, Which is the best cooked ROM that has WinMo 6.5 WITH Sense 2.5???
Thanx and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...
PS:I want a very basic ROM Minus all the Jazzy stuff..a very Clean, Pure and stable WinMo 6.5 with Sense UI 2.5...
Thanx a ton!
Better to ask the question in the ROM section - there is a huge choice there, and I'm certain you can find one that fits your requirements.
topaz does have an official upgrade of Sense 2.1 to 2.5. as for the best ROM u have to find that urself
Hello I have a HTC HD2 and running Froyo 2.2. Problem is that when I use the phone the sound sounds like a alien is on the other end. Is there a fix for this? Also happens with 2.1. Any help would be great. On on WinM base rom 2.13.531.1.
Thanks
-flash a new radio (2.10 or 2.12)
-flash a new android compatible rom (i use chuckydroid)
I'm not sure, if anyone experienced this problem, too.
I'm using the HTC HD2 with the 3.14 ROM. Now it's interesting that Android 2.2 SD Versions are not working while 2.3 SD Versions are working.
So at least 2.2 is working but you cannot phone, because you only hear crap.
Any idea, why this is the case and if there is any work around? I tried about 4 different versions based on Android 2.2.
This board is so confusing.
I have a HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) bootloader says:
BLAC100 32m
spl 1.54.0000
microp-blackstone led v6
I have the latest official HTC Wm6.1 rom installed (1.56).
I just want to install the newest version of the software it can handle. I understand this is Windows Mobile 6.5.
I understand there are like 223 versions with the guts ripped out so it works faster. I just want the default vanilla Microsoft version (if there is one.) It is SO confusing trying to find the right ROM.
Which one is that on this site? I.e. which thread? Just the vanilla WM6.5 for HTC Touch HD.
If someone can point me in the right direction to a (newish and not 5 year old) dummies guide to updating the spl to 1.56 and flasing to Win 6.5 I'd appreciate it too!
Edit: I understand I first need to flash to HardSPL 1.56 to be able to flash non official roms?? I can do that.
Basically pointing me in the right direction of the vanilla Windows Mobile 6.5 (finger friendly version with the big buttons) for the HTC Touch HD would help me a lot.
thanks
Anyone?
stock rom never was produced by htc in wm 6.5
u need hardspl and you can try this 6.5 roms.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26034604&postcount=9939

I used an ENERGY ROM on my HTC Touch HD (UK) and it ran the battery down in a matter of hours. It's just FAR too demanding for that phone.
kwbr Sense Edition
kwbr Sense Edition is the best.. I have been using it for 2yrs now...
