I think he wants to know how it affected other phones, smartypants.
I don't always complain, but when I do, I #BlameWes
It's officially the same device with a cdma radio and a wimax radio.
I will probably get one.

I've played with a T-Mo Nexus S and it's a VERY nice device. However, I'm still iffy about Samsung. I may just wait for the Evo 3D.

Why? This will be running AOSP and will get updates at a faster rate than devices with Sense, Blur, etc.

For realz, yo. Sammy makes awesome processors, the best mobile camera sensors hands down, and their devices all seem to get good battery life.

I actually dont want a dual core cause I fear the battery life....lol but if i was gonna upgrade my evo...I dont think this is the way Id go....although like some one mentioned the sammy's usually get great life.
with that being said...this device doesnt have a flash or notification light. The flash I use as a flash light and the notification light i would miss

Whaaat? I need my notification light! Ehh I wouldn't buy a year old phone. Its good more choices for sprint though, which is good.

Having the back button farthest from your finger seems odd.
Evo 3D sounds nice, but I don't think I can buy anything with 3D in the name.

no sd card means an automatic no for me
I wonder what Wimax chip they're using and if the implementation will be open source.

Thats one reason evo users should be excited. AOSP will now be coding for a CDMA/WiMAX device. AOSP ROMs for the EVO will be super easy to port from the Nexus S 4G.

Battery life? The GPU and CPU will be 10x as efficient as the evo right now and rumored the phone comes with a 1730-1750 mah battery. HTC modified the evos kernel when the battery problem was awful and the devs here at xda took it even a step farther. The dual core will render graphics and multi tasking like a breeze without straining the phone. The rumored benchmarks are double the evo stock! I have mine being pushed at full speed and still get a day worth of battery out of it. The evo3d is a no brainier compared to the nexus s which is a year old and does not have an SD card.

I actually found SetCPU did nothing as it can't change the govenor..
Get CPU Master instead, it has full Atrix support
Has anyone replaced the default Dialer with something else? I can't stand it.

Does SETCPU have a widget that shows ONLY the current speed? If so, how big (or small) is that widget?

hmm rating isn't that high, how do you know that CPU Master has full Atrix Support? lol How much have you UC the phone? Are you able to UC each processor cause that's what I want. I don't want one process to be so much lower than the other as it does defeats the point of a dual core XD

I'm using all the go launcher, dialer, and sms right now. I really like it. Has nothing to do with rooting though.
One easy one to recommend is Titanium backup.

Technically speaking that's listed as a 1.6 change ;-) however it hasn't appeared as changed down the list for the more current versions either so it should have still been fairly obvious.

If there are only two changes to this... I'm not seeing the point in updating.

I want to know what you're doing, cause my battery life is definitely not "amazeballs."
Loaded this rom up yesterday. After a full nights charge and resetting the Battery stats this morning.
12% drain after 4 hours. On vibrate, moderate texting, some WWF, 2 - 5 min phone calls, and some light email.
will report more battery stats later.
