can someone tell me how to make custom.lnk and initflashfiles.dat files for my rom as these are not present in dumped shipped rom.
Due to which my rom does not customised anything.
initflashfiles.dat should be there!
Maybe you don't see it because you didn't change the folder options on your computer like below:

you have to edit htchomesettings.xml, replace the weather tab section with the default/original program lines, copy back all the default weather graphics into \windows folder
