Folks,
I started a download via the built in browser. The download was aborted but the zoom is still trying to start the download. Basically, I have the "down arrow" and hashed progress bar permanently in my status bar,
Any ideas how to kill it off? I've already reboot the device.
Thanks, Jason
Err factory reset is an option... :-(

Did you try opening the downloads app? Also clearing the cache for the browser and the downloads app may be in order.

So with the constant lags and freezes, I decided to undo Voodoo. I created the "disable lagfix" folder inside the voodoo folder in the sdcard. Rebooted and waited til the robotic voice played. After reboot my phone will only go as far as showing the VERIZON flash screen. Phone goes dark and that's it! I couldn't get my phone to boot into CW. I did, however, got my phone to boot into recovery. I didn't think of selecting the update.zip in the sdcard and selected wipe data/factory reset. Now my phone goes straight to the set-up wizard everytime I turn it off and on, even after the set-up was complete. Its not holding whatever I've set up. Also, I've noticed that the available internal phone storage is zero. Hence, I cannot install any apps.
Can anyone point me to the right direction? Thanks.
There is a thread in here on fixing the zero storage thing.
just use the auto uninstaller......
I had to clear the cache in the market application. That fixed this issue for me.
What auto-uninstaller?
And how do you clear the cache in the market place? I went to the menu and only got the downloads and help options.
Its in preferences, applications, manage applications. Select the market app and clear the cache

Just did this and the CLEAR CACHE button is grayed out/disable. It won't work.

There's a thread on completely removing voodoo. Follow the instructions there and you'll be fine. Happened to me. Pain to go back to square one and rebuild, but it happens.

in other words, you don't wanna go to jail right?
I'm trying to download battlleheart from the market but it doesn't download. Instead it gets stuck in a download loop, I can click to install the app as many times as I like and it will add another download
At the minute I've got 4 battle heart apks trying to download and I can't stop them. I've tried stopping the market and clearing its data however it isn't working.
Does anyone know a fix? Its draining my battery like mad
I"m not a pro but I'd say go to settings>applications> choose the market app>stop + clear cache.
Edited to add you can try clearing "DMClient" also...that's the download mgr.

If you used Vending.apk try out com.amarket.apk instead. I was having the same issue before I switched. Also try clearing cache and data from the app, under Manage Applications. That has worked on the Amazon App Store when I had installs hang.

If your updating market just install and it will say overwrite and click yes.
I have an empty folder in my app drawer (first icon in the screenshot). I can't seem to add items to it or delete it by dragging it to the trash. Any ideas?
So when you hit menu it won't let you uninstall it? Boot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik.

Seriously?! That seems pretty extreme. This phone isn't rooted or anything, absolutely stock.

Not sure how clearing the cache and dalvik is extreme. I do that dozens of times each week. I don't remember for sure if dalvik is in the stock recovery. If not just try clearing cache.

Just push menu on the app drawer screen, tap on 'edit', then you can move it to trash - this works.
How to do it

Uhh...I had the same problem yesterday, searched for solution, found this thread, and when I found out how to do it, just got back an wrote it - without looking at the timestamp.
I've been having this problem whenever I try to delete an entire album. I'm assuming it might be something I disabled through Package Disabler and I'm having trouble finding out which one it is. Does anyone know what packages affects this?

please describe your problem in more detail, are you getting any error while deleting the album?
As soon as I press the delete button, it'll show the progress bar for the folder and then immediately get a "Gallery stopped working" error.
Hi dear ,
Did you try to clear the Gallery app data from the settings and then try again to delete any album !?
Try it. It works in most common problem related with ' app stopped working '

i am sorry for late reply, there may be some basic things you can try that will solve this problem. go to application manager search gallery and clear cache, reboot your device, and if problem still not solved then try to clear cache and dalvik cache try to clear RAM with any good RAM cleaner application
Thanks for the help! Clearing the app data and cache fixed the crashes for me.
