[Q] Lockscreen glitch on rubix 2.0 - Droid X General

I just flashed Rubix 2.0 a few days ago and it was running beautifully. I found the rotary lockscreen and enabled it. After doing so my lockscreen disappeared. I am using both the lockscreen AND pattern lock.
When I disable the pattern lock or use pin/password instead the lockscreen returns. However I want the lockscreen and pattern. I also tried unchecking the rotary to go back to the original locksreen + pattern and this did not work.
What are my options here? Tried cache clear, reboots, etc. Is there a terminal command I could enter?
Update: This is on a Droid X

You should probably askk this question in the rubix post.

Don't have posting rights because its in the dev forum.

This is not a glitch. It is designed that way. Don't ask me why, it seems stupid to me, but it is supposed to happen like that. Solution: don't use a pattern lock

I thought it was doing both for a while but I could be wrong. If that's the case then I just might get one of those lockscreen apps. Thanks everyone.

any devs out there that know how or are maybe interested in a way... I would be willing to donate for something like that and I am sure others would too....
MikFroyo 4.4 has it if you flash the rotary lockscreen mod. I'm using it right now. He adds an app to set up patterns or gestures, then you can disable the slide lock, and have an only gesture lockscreen.

I assume that is not something I can flash over my CM rom? Let me know if that is not the case, but thanks, this is on the right track.

CM7 Lockscreen

I Use the gesture lockscreen and was wondering if you can have pattern lock show up after gesture lock? Had it setup that way ona dif rom where pattern lock enabled after 5mins or so.I liked the two locks working together if my phone was idle for a while .Anyone know if it's possible?

I think we determined in the nightly thread that delaying the pattern lock is a Sense feature and isn't in CM7.
Thanks would make sense.pun since it was a sense Rom.Sorry if info was out there already.

Customize lockscreens?

I was curious if there was anyway to use a lockscreen other than the ones provided with CM7 (which is what I'm currently using). And where would I go about finding them?

There are but first learn to post in the general area if you have a question.
There is widget locker in the market as well as extracting the framework-res.apk and chamging lockscreen images and make a flashable zip.
Signatures are fancy.
Check out the WidgetLocker app. Its really awesome and well worth the price. When you buy it you will then be able to customize it and make the lockscreen change with themes other have made.
Heres a thread with some of the widgetlocker themes people are creating

Ill give it a look. Thanks for the quick reply.

Whenever I used widgetlocker, my cm7 lockscreen and the widgetlocker lockscreen would always interfere with each other...how did you get around that?
works ok for me, running CM7(RC2)
agree with others, Widget Locker is the best... and only $2

Thats why I stopped using it. Would get a hesitation using widget locker as it doesnt actually replace the stock lockscreen. It just seems to overlay it. What it appeared to be to me was that widget locker, being an app, had to load. So if it dropped out of Memory the phone had to reload it and it caused this stutter/hesitation between it and the actual lockscreen. Not that big a deal, but it gave the appearance that the phone was glitchy which I didnt like (i do everything i can to make the phone super smooth, no sense in installing an app that counters that, no matter how slight).
Now I just go with no sliders and use a gesture to unlock the phone and have another gesture to toggle sound. Super clean and confusing to whoever picks up the phone trying to be sneaky.

[Q] Is there a fix for Dashclock Widget on Lockscreen with Swipe or PIN enabled?

I'd like to stay w/ my rooted touchwiz rom. I am looking to see if there is any way out there, now with more development, to enable Dashclock on the lockscreen while still using swipe or PIN security.
Thanks
