Importing data:
If you used Danj3l froyo v1, then simply copy over your data.img and data directories over to your SDCard. The ports are essentially the same, but this one has all of the latest features (listed above), and my own touch.
Known bugs:
BLUETOOTH IS NOT WORKING. PLEASE NO COMMENTS ABOUT IT UNLESS IT'S USEFUL INFORMATION AS TO GETTING IT TO WORK.

Why does my Android loop during boot?

Root of your sdcard. NO! This requires the use of HARET.EXE
Why am I getting RoboVoice?
This has nothing to do with the rom, but more-so your Windows Mobile rom. Use a different one.

Simply copy over the apps directory to your root (SD card)

No, sorry. This is EClair... Which looks rather similar to FROYO, which is why I got confused.

Will be perfect if you get wifi working! Love the barebones approach!!!! Don't have much use for bluetooth, just need my wifi cause I live in an Egde/Gprs only area. Keep at it man!!

I am working my best to get this working, as I can see it's the major flaw in this rom. I will release patches here and there

It's because this rom is based on Eclair and flash is only available for Froyo.
If your WIFI doesn't works, try seting ip manually. This is working right for me. Nice rom, it's the faster i had tried.

Data didn't work for me. Anybody else having a problem with with 3g/GSM? And I also notice it recognizes it 's in usb mode when plugged to the computer, but still not actually able to access the files on the sd.

Nice build. Data is working good now with the new rootfs!
And flash LED in camera is back working, that's also nice!
Only issues:
- Having some touchscreen freezes from time to time.
- No GPS (known issue).
- Compass not working properly, it is 90 degree off.
- WiFi only working if you set static IP (known issue).

A small and basic guide on flashing RADIO and RIL
Code:
[B]How to flash radio?[/B]
1. Go to bootloader menu
2. Copy radio.img into folder where your fastboot.exe exists
3. Go to command prompt
4. Use command "fastboot flash radio radio.img"
5. Wait till process is finished and
6. Reboot your phone
[B]How to flash RIL?[/B]
1. Copy RIL zip on your sdcard
2. Go to recovery menu
3. Flash like a normal zip
Warning! RIL should be flashed only on sense based ROMs. You might encounter issues if flashed on AOSP ROMs.
About radio 12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M:
My singnal strength now never goes down below 4 when I am on 2G and better than before when on 3G (tested on AT&T). WI-FI reception is similar as in previous radio. Battery life is exactly similar as in last radio (12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M). Make sure you flash matching RIL to achieve the best result. Some ppl reported WI-FI reception was better with this radio.
About radio 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M:
Best signal strength so far. I felt better and consistent data download speed both on 2G and 3G network. WI-FI reception more or less similar as of previous radio. Great battery saver, I found my battery lasts longest on this radio. For me this radio is best out of all the past radio released, keeper for me.
About radio 12.59.60.26U_26.11.04.21_M:
With this radio I found better 3G+GPRS speed. Battery consumption was less in comparison of 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M but signal strength was relatively better in radio 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M (negligible difference). Rest are more or less similar as in radio 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M.
About radio 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M:
With this radio I found better signal strength and better 3G+GPRS speed. Rest are more or less similar as in radio 12.54.60.25P_26.09.04.11_M2.
About radio 12.54.60.25P_26.09.04.11_M2:
New radio from 2.36.405.5 base. So far been better than last one. With last radio I had some WIFI connection discontinuity problem which is gone with this radio. Everything seems to be smooth so far. You guys test and post your reports.
About radio 12.35d.60.140fU_26.08.03.07_M:
I extracted this radio from new 2.25 leak. It works very nice on my phone and hence decided to post publically. I found better signal reception, better 2G/3G data download, better wifi reception and better GPS result. Only thing yet to test is battery life.

Maybe different Country-Versions of the DHD, still fP for me

Radio Interface Layer, the piece of software between your phone's dialer functions and it's radio. The U and P also depend on area. the U means HSDPA (or HSPA+) connectivity. It is nothing to worry about
Basically what you want is U, but as I said, it really depends on the network and country, too.

That's the only reason I believe. Otherwise why it would differ when we are using same ROM.

im not sure.. but the ui feels not realy smooth (MIUI). Batterylife is very nice and Mobile Network seems ok.

Can we port FM RDS support to another ROMs?

Hi, Swedish Spring is the only ROM that i know that inludes Radio Data System Support on FM.
is there a way to integrate this feature to other ROMs?

you need to add right files to other ROM (Replace)
ex: libril.so
...
and swedish spring is not only one which have it!

What ROM(s) are you taking about?
I've tested:
My stock ROM (Froyo) ------------------- No RDS
2 Swedish Spring Based ROMS ---- RDS Support, (of course)
2 ZTE leaked kernel ROMS -------- No RDS
-GSF
-Blue Ginger
1 ZTE Libra ROM ----------------- No RDS
1 CyanogenMod 7 Nightlies ------- No tested because FM radio only works with a modified FM app, if I try FM_ZTE.apl app, it crash. And modiffied FM app does not include RDS

Example:
TeliaSonera Stock 2.2 ROM which can be flashed with .exe file
maybe Sapo A5 stock 2.2 ROM
I use CM 7 nightly 161 and FM radio works and maybe zte fm radio works with it too..
if you want to get official ZTE FM radio to work on other version then you need to edit zte-fm...? .apk files!

Stock Roms with froyo, yep. I'm with SSpring that eats a lot of battery
I'll make some experiments with libs and modules to add this feature on Ginger

If you find TeliaSonera Stock 2.2 ROM without .EXE then you can get good radio files to GingerBread (not to CM)

[release] new flasher for i8700xxkh2

First of all, Make sure that this one is not from SamFirmware and SFUnlock.
I don't know who they are.
Samsung has 3 kinds of firmware version.
WP_PRODUCT : for Retail Device
WP_ENGINEER : for Engineer
WP_HYBRID : Unknown
I think that WP_HYBRID mode is for multiple operating mode which includes PRODUCT and ENGINEER.
HYBRID can be flash both of PRODUCT and ENGINEER version.
So I patched flasher to operate in HYBRID mode.
IF U USE THIS ONE, YOU CAN FLASH ALL OF ENGINEERING_SAMPLE ROM ON YOUR PHONE.
HOW TO:
How to flash is simple.
Just select ROM files and start. That's it.
BUT BEFORE DO THAT,
PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE ANY PROBLEM ON YOUR CELL PHONE.

U can use another CSC maybe.
CSC is not important part in rom.
If u got a problem, u just would be able to rewrite new rom.

What is so special about this new flasher ?
1. We could update to Mango RTM before, why would we use this tool ?
2. It says we can unlock our phone .. does this mean sideloading apps ?
3. And what about the two "new" roms ? How are they connected to this tool ?

The Mango RTM you flashed is only the Microsoft part, you are still missing the OEM part - that is updated drivers (for proper Bing Vision work, ...). And those are included in this ROM.
But this ROM is not made for us, so it is in default blocked by the flashing app - not anymore, it has been patched.

This File is not a Eboot Image File!!
This File is not a PDA Image File!!
This File is not a CSC Image File!!

Actually, Mango which was provided unofficial routine is not contained System Device Drivers that is like compass driver.
U can use Mango, but u cannot use compass and some of other functions.
So u should update OEM Part to use all of functions.
I8700XXKH2 ROM is only for Samsung Engineer and it includes several latest drivers.
If u use normal flasher, u cannot update to XXKH2.
But this one is patched flasher, so u can flash engineering rom on your phone.
