Getting Bored with HD. Any ideas ?

Now that its been few weeks that i got my HD , im getting bored with it.
Although I used to have XDA and HTC devices in the past, Its really getting boring with HD.
Any cool ideas about making this device extraordinary ? I need new ideas !! thanks

or flash the latest ROMs and try fix all the bugs
that should be entertaining and a great service to the community

Bit of a strange question. How extraordinary can phones be?
Maybe paint it pink, it would look extraordinary then! Do you like playing games? Get some new games for it.

It is not a gaming device u know, No D-pad or keys... So far im still using the stock ROM, no bugs for me.

Get a girlfriend...........or if you have one: spend a bit more time with her....(phones are usually easier to exchange than the latter.....)

Nice one. Thats what Im talking about !

I use it to watch tv from my sateliet at home..so i stream my sat signal and watch everywere...and i can change channels...so not bored at all

I hope it is not a Slingbox/slingplayer case. I would be very happy if there is an all-software solution which utilizes a TV card located on a desktop computer

You can use Orb (www.orb.com)

Get microsoft voice commander, and start having conversations with your phone... (to be fair the conversations are limited to asking it about signal strength, battery levels, date, time and upcoming appointments... but it's fun to see the reaction on peoples faces when you talk to your phone and your phone speaks back to you.
also being able to launch applications and mp3s by speaking is just cool.

That seems quite interesting

Flash your phone with the latest Radio and Dutty's 2.3.
You will be amazed by the speed and added functionality.
Plus, you don't need to get a Touch Pro 2. Dutty's 2.3 utilizes almost the same manila.

I am sorry I still prefer something newer than HD

buy an iphone..... only then can you appreciate the wonders and beauty of the HD....
i have both now and if i had to give up one ...the iphone will be the first to go!!

Slingbox. Got mine a week or so ago and i'm loving it; definitely will keep you sticking to your HD with that huge screen.

Pocket Legends!

Hi Guys,
Just thought i'd start a thread about this game, it's just been released in Beta format for Android - its originally an iphone MMO RPG game. You create a character and go off on quests with buddies - similar to WoW but a lot more basic...
Anyway its a freebie and a great little game so worth a go - its 28mb download size though so may wanna grab it while on a wireless connection.
It has great 3D graphics and runs really smooth!
Maybe see some of you guys in game - im Atolo a warrior

This game is so much fun. I've been playing it all weekend since I read this topic. Leoevo level 13 archer. The only problem is now all my friends without smartphone think I'm this ridiculous nerd now. Any fix? Lol

guys im having sometimes 70second(70'000 ping) lags (190-290 avg ping) every 10 minutes with my wifi connection ... and sofar no lags on my hsdpa (290-390 avg ping) hows it going for you ? im thinking its rom related or game world ? im sure id see some feedback if it happened for every one !

problem fixed by changing to CM6.1 build ... now touchscreen freezes are back ... fml

changed back to yet another Sense build , now no wifi dc and no touchscreen freeze , guess i hit the sweet spot

This Game is brilliant, got to level 17 and now looking at buying Platinum so i can keep playing.

Fine game indeed

Another good free game from Market is Pocket Empires. You build up cities, tech levels, fight monsters and opposing players, and build wealth. It's another MMORPG, has alot of cool features like alliances, stock market to trade goods/troops, huge map, thousands of other players, world/alliance/market chats, plus you don't have to play it constantly. You can put it down and come back to it on your own time. If you guys get tired of Pocket Legends, and want to try another game for awhile, check it out

Does anyone have Tiger Mame 1.4.3? (dont update to 1.4.4)

Tiger Mame 1.4.3 got released a few days ago and the dev finally added save and load states.
They worked perfect for me. Been waiting soooo long. Very handy for a quick blast at work, save game, continue where left off from.
Anyway lots of people complained they wasn't working.
Now dev has updated to 1.4.4 and taken save states away again. I was in the middle of a game of the punisher and can't load my game !!!!!!!!!!
So I can't find 1.4.3 anywhere. Does anyone have a copy so I can downgrade please?

Both just link to the newest market version. Darn it.
It had only been out for 3 days and i was getting ready for a marathon lunchtime sessions of all the cps2 games for the next couple of weeks. The emulator is useless to me without save abilities.
The CPS2 side scrolling beat em ups are some of the finest games ever made. AvP, Cad vs Dino, Punisher, just plain awesome games.

I find it kind of ironic that someone says they need save states to play arcade games, but okay.

hehe yea.
I play during my lunch time at work though. I like completing games like AvP and Punisher etc.
Its annoying when you just have a 5 minute or 10 minute blast and then want to save but cant.
I get your point, but save states mean you can enjoy and complete the game at your own leisure instead of being forced to play all the way through in one sitting.

Why not take our Plays down to the local arcade for the complete experience? Also, try jamming a 20p in the simslot, it might just work.

Saves are needed for me also, i can only do 2 or 3 lvs on viewpoint before its time to work again

Exactly the same thing. I've 5 or 10 min max two times in my journey, savestates are very important for me too.

Heck, I would be happy if the dev would fix the scaling for Honeycomb devices, since small tiny window on the A500, Transformer and Xoom. It does not change scaling with any option- same small window, but operates fine on the gTablet and higher res Galaxy Tab (older version) using Froyo.

I rooted and now save states work for me on this emulator.

Unfortunately this is not true.
The save state feature has stopped working. Getting the same errors as before (rom rebooting).
Such a shame because this is a great emulator.
I have tried nearly every NeoGeo & CPS2 rom, and the only one that didn't work was Metal Slug 3. I got sound problems on some CPS1 roms like Final Fight. But seriously, everything I tried on NeoGeo & CPS2 worked!
...just need those save states, Tiger King.

how did u get those roms to work?? avp and punisher..I kan only play the final fight wit ****y sound. I have the bios but idk they wont work can u help me??

Did any1 got Captain America and the avengers working?
Its one of my favorite games and it wont even appear in the ROM list! Its in ZIP format along with other ROMS.

[Q] Problems with Asphalt 6 HD

Hi there!
I've got a problem with Asphalt 6.
firstly I flashed the Foliomod 1.4, installed the game (don't know wich version i used). It works great in Sensormode and Fullscreen. Than i tried CM7 and Folio3x, but its not usable for me. So i flashed back to FM1.4, installt sone Versions of Asphalt 6, i got some Problems.
Some versions run near Fullscreen (i little black bar on top, round about 1cm), i've to touch over the buttons to hit.
Some other Versions the sensor works perfekt, but it isn't in fullscreen.
and other Version kick me after the Intro back to homescreen.
I know it ran, but what i have to do?
I tried the "trick" with spareparts, nothing happens,...

Id try side loading it.. It may just be that its not "officially" compatible buy works fine.
There's always a good argument for backing up you packages, using titanium or similar, just for situations like these.

can you post the apk as it is not allowed in my country .
