[Q] HTC Sync software with HD2 running Android?

Hello,
Has anyone been able to use HTC Sync software with HD2 running Android?
I have 3.0.5422 of HTC Sync and up to date Energy Rom + Darkstone Froyo V2.
I'd like to use it to sync my work outlook emails and have Google App Inventor recognise the phone.

so far only mattc rom is working with htc sync
if anyone finds other rom...pls update in the other thread

I am looking for the same I get my email and calendar I guess because my base is one of my gmail accounts so I get my email and calendar just not my contacts. Have to load them.
My htc sync saw my phone and connects but my phone doesn't notice the computer so it doesn't connect.

i have installed:
[BUILD][04.12.10]-=MDJ FroYo HD v.4.3=-[kernel:MDJ S7.5HD]
on my HTC HD2
and downloaded HTC Sync from htc.com
start HTC Sync an put usb cable into htc hd2 and choose htc sync
but the htc sync app on my pc cant find the phone
i want to sync my outlook contacts with my phone
how can i do that or what do i wrong ?

I do it a different way. I sync my Outlook calendar, contacts, tasks etc with my Gmail account and then sync that with my phone.
I use Google's sync tool to do it.

i dont want sync with google any other possibility?

try version 3.0.5422 of HTC sync.
I'm using it without any issues (using same android). just make sure you restart your PC/laptop after installing.
p.s.
there is an updated version which didn't work for me. maybe you have this v?

head to HTC main site and download their HTC Sync software and install it on your PC

anyone expereanced the Unable to copy contacts from PIM error trying to sync contacts with HTC Sync, my contacts were on google acount, deleted them and loaded them from vcf backup on sd as phone type contacts and now it doesn`t wanna sync. using windows 7 64 and froyo stok rom

It's a common problem for HTC legend on 2.2 roms. Sync suddenly stops. I tried myphoneexplorer and it worked perfectly for me. I sync with Outlook, don't know if it works for google mail, maybe it works for this too.

chose other (android) phone and you will be able to sync, or stand alone or to outlook, in options you can choose what you like to sync and how....

[q] htc hero calendar sync

Please can someone help. I have an HTC Hero with Android 2.1. I am able to sync the contacts with HTC Sync with no problem at all. However, I am totally unable to sync the Calendar. What I would like to do is sync my HTC Calendar with Google calendar and also export it so that I can save the calendar to my SD Card. However, nothing seems to work, not even HTC Sync.
Any help would be much appreciated.

As far as I know, Google calendar syncs with your google account at any time when you have internet connection and/or background data/autosync enabled. HTC Sync sync your phone's calendar with MS Outlook (if you use windows).

I've downloaded a program called Google Calendar Sync. This program syncs your outlook calendar with your google calendar (you can tell it which ways it has to sync e.g. only outlook-> google, or google->outlook or both ways), and then in turn, your google calendar syncs with your phone.

Contacts sync problem

I`m using HTC Sync to sync calendar & contacts with the outlook (2003 SP2) client in our office. Calendar works great but with contacts there´s a problem that all contact-pics disappear everytime I did a sync. Does anybody know about this ?
Desire Z with stock Android 2.3.3.
