i don't understand exactly, you want to drop dual boot and go android only on nand or reinstall android in dualboot?

I do not use WP7 so I may be telling you wrong here or telling you to do a massive over kill here. But I would think if you want to change your WP7 ROM it would be best to run a Task 29 to fully wipe your NAND ROM partition. Then reflash MAGLDR as the Task 29 will wipe it from your HD2. Next do a full wipe and reformat of your SD card. Easiest way of doing that is put it in a SD card adaptor and stick it in a digital camera and format it as this will remove the funky format WP7 does on your SD card and then format it again with your computer using fat 32. This will give you a clean slate to install a new WP7 ROM. Take the needed steps to partition your SD card so you can run Android again and copy your SD Android build to the card and then put your SD card back in your HD2 and flash your WP7 ROM using USB Flasher in MAGLDR.
Hope this helps.

Running ANDROID via NAND & SD CARD?

So I've tried searching to the answer of this question for a couple days now, with no luck. I am currently running ANDROID 2.2 via NAND on my HTC HD2 with a 16GB SD Card. With that said I was wondering if there is any possible way to also boot another build of ANDROID via my SD CARD though MAGLDR?
I like having the stability of having the certain ROM i have now on my NAND, but I would like to try out other ROMS and just run them off the SD CARD. I tried partitioning the SD card with no luck. I try to boot the ROM on my SD CARD through MAGLDR but after a while it just reboots into my NAND ANDROID ROM.
Does anybody know how I can run ANDROID via NAND and another ANDROID build via SD CARD???
I believe I've seen this asked before and the answer was no its not possible. I'm really not 100% sure but I'm rather curious now. I will try to find the thread I seen the post in & report back.

An easy run around would be to keep the roms you like most on your sd card & just flash them when you want a change. I keep 3 on my sd card for just that reason.

Ive heard a lot of people running multiple android version with magldr..one on nand, the other ons are sd builds.
You can also have wp7 on nand and run a android sd build from sd.
Never tried a sd build on magldr, so cant say how to do that - using clk and the sd boot is just in comming -, just read some stickies with tutorials yourself...but its to 100% possible

i use a nand android (sense eclipse) and two sd builds (american android and 3 dak's miui rom). if you look at sd android thread you can easily find sd builds supporting mgldr.to do that partitioning of sd is not necessary. the only trouble may be about sd-ext,since some applications may transpass from one rom to the other via sd-ext. so if you can disable using sd-ext for sd-roms you'll have no problem.

[q] htc hd2 running android 2.3.x using new sense 3.0 (sensation)

Hello everyone, I'm a new member and after I have read on this forums a while, I haven't seen the answer, that's why I post this thread.
- My htc hd2 has running NAND 2.3.2 gingerbread and now I want to update to the new one which it android 2.3.5 sense 3.0 (sensation or desire), I want to install it to my htc hd2 but I don't know how to install it. Please show me step by step or give me a link it has tutorial how to install it to my htc hd2. Thank you very much.
What loader do you have? If you have MAGLDR, than just download nand rom you want, repartion your phone internal memory with HD2 toolkit and create ext partition on SD card if necessary. Than just put the rom to that SD, boot to loader by holding power on button while phone is powered off, go to AD recovery and install zip from card. There are many guides for this.

[Q] htc hd2 with windows 7 on it, runs like crap!

bought htc hd2 with windows 7 booted on it, it runs like crap, is there anyway to uninstall and boot android on it and how do i do this need help!!!
You will need to do Task 29, download radio, magldr, CWM and your ROM, then install them (in that order). It's easy, it may just look scary now.
I will NOT provide you step by step guide.
Protip: Use search tool and read some tutorials about installing Android NAND ROMs.
Have a nice day.
thanks for the help!!
Also you will need to reformat your SD card with a formating tool that can remove the funky format that WP7 fomats the SD card with. It does this because WP7 uses the SD card as the internal storage on the device. I can not remember the name of the format it uses, but I am thinking it is called RAD or something like that. If any one else out there reads this and can remember the name of the format please chime in with it.

[Q] urgent help please regarding dual boot

hi i m using android ics 4 in nand and i want to dual boot with windows 7.5 and i dont want to hard format hd2 plzz someone help is it possible or i have to start with scratch ? coz i had not installed android myself so m bit scared
since WP7 is working from NAND, You have to reflash NAND with WP7, then You can add SD android BUILD
but i have android in nand so does that means i had to flash w7 directly without hard format android or first i have to installed wp6.5 than i had to flash hspl then magldr then windows 7 then android in sd ? and if this r the only steps then my question is is there a way to skip the step of installing wp 6.5 then hspl then mgldr coz i m using android in nand so i have hspl and mgldr already installed
you wont need to reinstal HSPL, but it is adviced to install wm 6.5 prior to flashing WP7, then magldr... and so on
I did once direct flash from nandroid to WP7 and it worked, but im not sure dose it have any side effects or not

hmm seems u r wrong or missed something out so if i dont reinstall hspl then how can i run android from sd does it work on wp 6.5 hspl plzzz some advance user help its getting confusing
reflashing wm6.5 doesent remove HSPL (at least it didnt in my case)
k then too i will wait for more reply coz i had read somewhere that you can only delete hspl 2.08 or so by flashing wp 6.5 may be m wrong but still i prefer waiting
ok, remembered now, I installed custom wm6.5 ROM that uses HSPL for flashing, that is why HSPL stayed untouched
Hspl is not touched by flashing anything..it is removed only by uninstalling using hspl to flash spl again. hspl makes your phone practically unbrickable.. For wp7 you need hspl 2.08... Flash wm 6.5 with radio 2.12 or 2. 15, then magldr1. 13 and then flash wp7.. Then dual boot with android

for dualboot must repartition sd card...
Simply use yukixbmod rom, and send partition cab and sd unlock cab... easier and better than old way of partitioning in other roms.. Time consuming

not agree with you... for dualbooting, better is ROM's is which not lock card (Pdaimatejam, HD2O or CTRLPDA FSM HD2)

i'm following this guide but at the end after i have loaded the sd rom onto SD card and done the boot to SD i get a SD file not found or something like that.
do you have to edit anything after you transfer the android folder to the SD card?

I only said that because partitioning of sd, using easus manager is time consuming.

no...all video is recorded without pause, only cut time where waiting time to flash WP7, copy time when copy paste ICS folder to SD and first loading time for Android.... nothing changed, edited or worked... all job is recorded...
you need to make the appropriate settings in magldr for android
services/ boot settings/ ad sd dir (android sd directory)---select your android folder , accept by pressing green call button
you will need to change boot settings also to "always show menu"
boot into android
i got my issue resolved, i wasn't swapping in the edited rootfs file and startup.txt.
it's what this video shows near the end.
perhaps it's not needed with the SD rom that you are using in that video. I tried but it didn't work for me.
thank you for doing that video. i watched that video before i even bought the hd2 and it's one of the reasons i did.
this device is amazing

[Q] WP7 installation despite NativeSD?

Hi Guys,
currently I have a Miui NativeSD Rom. It means the whole Android Rom is running at my SD Card. My questions is....can I install this WP7 ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1356833
with a another SD Card and my current not used NAND memory? I would change sometimes the Roms, between WP7 and Android but when I install WP7 I dont know whether crash my Native SD ROM?? Last question when I execute Task29, will be delete my current Nand ROM, but also Magldr??
Thanks!
hi, check out the links below it might help
& yes Task29 will wipe your NAND of any rom/ reccovery that's in there but leaves radio alone.
Ok if I understand aright, I follow the steps Task 29 / Install Magldr in the Boot Mode from HD2 Toolkit ( is a repartition to 300mb or 445mb recommend? Or can I skip the partition-step?)and then Clear SD MBR and uselast24Nand , execute this dwi from my WP7 Rom and installed WP7 on my NAND After this my Magldr is already there??! If yes I can change my SD Card so where I cand find my Native Files and boot from them??! ^^
OK , to do it. the nativesd roms wont be crashed. it only in ur sd card .

yes, that's what you should do. Card#1 for WP7 and Card#2 for SD or NativeSD.
but wp7 wont boot with the second card in slot. wp7 needs the first card(it formats and locks the card during installation)
