After flashing CyanogenMod 7 stable release, I haven't been able to move any shortcuts or widgets around.
Before flashing from CM7 RC4 to stable, I didn't have this problem and the icons moved when I long pressed on them.
Yes, I have tried rebooting the phone
Thanks for any help and info
try pressing menu, and click unlock desktop.

I flashed with TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.7.1 last night. So far very stable. Trying to add applications, but long press bring up the "Add to Home Screen" menu, but the widgets/folder/wallpapers/asuncher actions are all choices, but application is missing. So I don't see a way to pin an application
to home screen. I must be missing something. Tried to search the developer forum, did not see anything. Could anybody give me a pointer please?
Nevermind. I must be idiot. Been using wp7 for a while and just flashed back android. Figured it out. It's in the short cut
Hi, anyone here have issues with lockscreen being disabled after flashing an ICS rom? I have flashed multiple times with all the available ICS roms. Rom loads up but I have no lockscreen. Pressing the power button goes directly into the OS and bypasses the lockscreen. Played around with settings but no luck. Otherwise the roms seem to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
factory reset and install the rom again

Go to system settings/security/screen lock/select (none/slide/face unlock/pattern/pin/password)
I have gone into the settings and chose multiple lockscreen settings but still no lockscreen. Also wiped and reflashed multiple times. Currently, using lockscreen widget from market...but would still rather use the original lockscreen. BTW i came from RRv22 and have followed the installation instructions very strictly from all the different roms. Weird, never had this problem before.
Okay, I'm on a rooted Nexus 4. I had the Jellybam 8.x.x rom installed and everything was working fine. I went to update today to Jellybam 10.0.0 and the home key did not work. I thought this was just a bug in that particular version since it's so new. I then tried flashing SlimBean, Paranoid Android, and earlier versions of Jellybam (9.2 and 8.x.x, of course, factory resetting in between all of them). I'm now on the Jellybam I started with and the home key still isn't working. I can change the NavBar settings and make it so that when I long press the home key it goes home, but it's inconvenient. Also, the home key under pie controls doesn't work. All of the other keys work fine (menu, apps and back). I found a couple sources that said people were having similar problems after upgrading to Android 4.3, but I tried a rom on 4.2 and still nothing. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

If this problem still persists after flashing new roms + wiping data, I suggest you return to original stock.

Hi,
I have a N7100 running the latest nighty of OmniROM 4.4.2 with stock kernel. It's a great rom and would like to thank you for all your hard work. Just one thing.. Whenever I reboot my phone or flash something, something from my homescreen disappears. Either a entire homescreen or a folder or an icon or two disappear after restarting. I tried searching for a thread related to this but couldn't find any.
Any suggestions/solutions as to what the problem might be?
Oh, also I'm using the stock Kit Kat Launcher. Also have Action Launcher Pro installed as well.
I flashed latest release version of Mokee MM Rom from their website yesterday. I'm in love with this rom mainly because it has Viper4android pre installed in it.
But the capacitive home button is not working in this Rom. (Like with previous roms such as nuclearom, just by swiping left or right in the home button I could access recent apps, Back button)
So, is there any way to bring the capacitive home button functionality to this Rom.
I already tried a flashable zip which was meant for CM 12.1, but it didnt work, My phone went to bootloop.
Someone please suggest a solution here.

It seems there are two fiiles in system/usr/keylayout called Generic and Goodix-CTL. The issue is because CM 12.1 uses the FPC1020 file (driver) whereas Mokee uses something else. I tried changing the Goodix-CTL 158 to HOME but it makes the Back button work as BACK! Really confused as to what is to be done.
