Capacitive home button for Mokee 6.0.1 Rom - Zuk Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed latest release version of Mokee MM Rom from their website yesterday. I'm in love with this rom mainly because it has Viper4android pre installed in it.
But the capacitive home button is not working in this Rom. (Like with previous roms such as nuclearom, just by swiping left or right in the home button I could access recent apps, Back button)
So, is there any way to bring the capacitive home button functionality to this Rom.
I already tried a flashable zip which was meant for CM 12.1, but it didnt work, My phone went to bootloop.
Someone please suggest a solution here.

It seems there are two fiiles in system/usr/keylayout called Generic and Goodix-CTL. The issue is because CM 12.1 uses the FPC1020 file (driver) whereas Mokee uses something else. I tried changing the Goodix-CTL 158 to HOME but it makes the Back button work as BACK! Really confused as to what is to be done.

How to disable nav bar in coldFusionX?

Lately I fished out my old Blade to use as a backup device, installed ColdfusionX on it, but it has this damn navigation bar (soft buttons) on the bottom. How can I get rid of them? There is no option in settings.
Thanks in advance. I'd ask in colfusionX thread, but it seems most threads in development are dead.
IIRC softbuttons where a separte zip to flash, just reflash CFX without it. Anyway, the only ICS rom that still has some activty is KonstaKANG, i suggest you to switch to that build, it has just been updated yesterday, it's smaller (138mb vs 190+) and has some custom options implemented by KonstaT

Nexus 4 Home Key Not Working

Okay, I'm on a rooted Nexus 4. I had the Jellybam 8.x.x rom installed and everything was working fine. I went to update today to Jellybam 10.0.0 and the home key did not work. I thought this was just a bug in that particular version since it's so new. I then tried flashing SlimBean, Paranoid Android, and earlier versions of Jellybam (9.2 and 8.x.x, of course, factory resetting in between all of them). I'm now on the Jellybam I started with and the home key still isn't working. I can change the NavBar settings and make it so that when I long press the home key it goes home, but it's inconvenient. Also, the home key under pie controls doesn't work. All of the other keys work fine (menu, apps and back). I found a couple sources that said people were having similar problems after upgrading to Android 4.3, but I tried a rom on 4.2 and still nothing. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

If this problem still persists after flashing new roms + wiping data, I suggest you return to original stock.

Custom ROMs can have their buttons programmed which ever way. I don't have the same ROM at the moment, so can't answer specifically for your ROM. But as an example, my Touchwiz ROM came with Wanam Xposed, which I can use to change the way the Home button behaves. Maybe there are some options in your ROM settings, or maybe the ROM came with some appropriate utility. If you don't find a way to customize the home button, I suggest you go check out the subforum specific for your custom ROM.

Are you refering to the recent apps panel? Or a full blown task manager cause i have not seen a rom come with a task manager but recent apps all9ws u to clear apps from memory but not kill system/kernel processes they way a task manager would

i mean when you long press on home button in other S4 models will opening task that show you which apps runing now , but in L720 not have this option , how can do it ? also if screen off in sleep mode , and other S4 models you press on home button the phone will wake up but L720 is doing nothing , maybe need to change in EFS or SYSTEM folder home button function ?
On stock Roms for the SPH-L720 the home button does wake up the phone and holding the home button brings up the task manager/recent apps. So it is the custom Roms that you are running. As mentioned above it has to be some of the settings.

Any asop rom will have those settings under "buttons". Ive never ran a stock rom for more then 5secs in my life on any of my phones but u have to mean the recent apps menu.
Ive been sticking with sokp but ive flashed every aosp rom here atleast once. Xposed is always an option or xda button remapper. I have mine setup longpress menu is recents.. Longpress home is camera.. Longpress volume up is flashlight.. Longpress back kills current app.. By using sokp built in button control. Xposed torch.. Xposed additions.. And developer options... I use an extra xposed module to adjust the long press delays (xposed additions)
Hello

[HELP] back button / key stop working after stock rom installation

I always used custom roms CM,
i flash stock rom I9505XXUHOH2_I9505TPHHOI1_I9505XXUHOH2
and now my back button / key don't work.
any fix ?
did you find any solution to this?
updated to hoh2 a few days ago and had the same problem, back button doesnt work at all (not even the light..)
doesnt matter if full install of hoh2 via odin, or get update by OTA.
now i downloaded previous stock rom (hof2) and flashed it, now everything is fine again. skipped ota update for now as it will break the keys again.
couldnt find any solution to this so far. also samsung has no idea (and never heard of it before...)

BLack screen after installing any rom

On my note3 (n900t), after I install any rom, which I've tried CM11, CM13, ResurrectionRemix v5.6.0 and 5.6.5, and the latest version for lollipop. Every time, it will install successfully via twrp, get to the welcome/language select screen, then the screen will go black, i.e. off. Pressing buttons or tapping the screen still turns the haptic motor, but does nothing, and the back/menu lights come on for a split second at a time, and sometimes spaz out turning on and off on their own.
these are the guides I followed, if it helps:
CM13: androiding.how/download-note-3-cm13-rom-marshmallow/
CM11: Just the wiki
RR: galaxynote3root.com/sm-n9005-galaxy-note-3-roms/resurrection-remix-rom-w-android-6-0-1-for-galaxy-note-3-marshmallow/The video in this one shows it working on a n900t, so it isnt a model compatibility thing
Is there something I've done wrong here? How can I fix this and install one of these?
(sorry about the links, I made an account to try and find help)

Did you do all the wipes? On TWRP I always press advanced(I don't use factorey reset), then select everything but internal storage and SD, then I flash and it boots just fine.

Remember that rr marshmallow releases don't work for SM N900. I guess that your phone is sm N9005. Right?
If it is, is awkward that you can't flash a rr marshmallow ROM
You should be in the T-Mobile note 3 forum?
Cm12.1 for the hltetmo: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=hltetmo

Hi, I've had the same issue on my Note 3 N9005. I thought it was a problem caused by Knox, so I opened the original bootloader and I deleted every Knox file; then I flashed it and it works. I tried this solution with the Resurrection Remix Rom v5.6.5, but when I updated to v5.6.7 it gave me the same problem. After a sleepless night I realized that, being the problem related to hardware components (the screen), and being impossible that such components were broken, I thought that the real problem was the kernel, so I tried to flash a compatible kernel with the Marshmallow 6 version of Android and it finally works. The kernel in question was the NetHunter one (Kali Linux), that I flashed even when I flashed the bootloader, without noticing.
