Hi, I messed up my Amps (nams) and is there a way to restore back to origional? Phone was working great on cricket, I did a number change and had to go in QPST and change number, I made a mistake and went in amps and where the registration is suppose to be greyed out, it's not and it's screwed up the way the data and mms works. I have the origional backup file I saved, I load it and it writes, but when I look at the amps it is not greyed out. gives me a selection of disabled, yes and hide. I tried ODIN and did a few stock rom, nothing helped. Is there a certain rom that will restore this? or how can I fix this issue without sending it back to samsung?

Got the Droid X to activate it on Alltel like I did very successfully with my Eris.
Installed HW virtual serial port software, created the virtual serial port, phone was detected and showing up correctly in QPST, went directly to CDMA Workshop and ripped the NV file from the phone, edited all the NV information to alltel's 3G provisioning with a HEX translator, uploaded the NV file to the phone and uploaded the Alltel PRL... all seemed well. Restarted the phone, it now shows no service. When I go to Settings, it tells me the baseband version is "unknown" and it doesnt know the ESN or anything, that isn't good. I tried reconnecting to CDMA workshop, if I try to restore original NV file, it doesn't know the SPC anymore so it doesn't allow it, SPC 000000 isn't recognized now. How can I recover the radio ? I tried restoring it (hard reset) through the settings, security menu AND the Power+home buttons way. After restoring, still no service and SPC is still incorrect, how do I get the radio back to default values ? CAn I reflash the phone? Anyone know where the factory rom is so I can do this ? Ah man, help me please :O
Other than that, I guess I'll have to have motorola take a look at it since I don't have it signed up to a verizon account, my bet is that verizon won't help me. thanks
Did a system "full reboot" help any??
No it hard resets normally and reboots to the welcome wizard, functions perfectly, but still "No Service" and "unknown" baseband in the settings...
I'm thinking I'll have to have the stock Rom file to flash my phone, hopefully this will flash the factory baseband too or maybe tomorrows update will fix my broken baseband, looks like from the information, it updates the baseband, wonder if it will update a totally dysfunctional baseband?
Yikes,.. this blows.
I don't understand why you didn't back up the rom if you were attempting something like this.
There is a Droid X update coming pretty soon, so I'm sure by that time the new rom will be available.
Well, I backed up the NV items, I figured that would be sufficient, guess not, Trial and error I suppose, but you're right.
What software do I use to back up the rom of the Droid X ? I know there is a key sequence on the Droid, what about the droid X ? The recovery screen (Power + Home) brings me to a menu allowing system recovery/wipe install update.zip from memory card, and thats it.
I have a buddy right here in town down the block that got the droid x with me, can I back the rom up off of his and flash that rom to my phone?
Help is SO appreciated...
EDIT
The system dumps that are floating around the web, is that a ROM backup ? http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-hacks/114-new-droid-x-retail-dump-straight-out-pot.html
Can I put that file in the SD card as update.zip and flash it?

why not use QXDM to modify the ESN?
Worth a shot...
You can try using the motorola troubleshooter. Its what they use to update your phone anyways and since the new update came out you might be able to install over what you did...I cant post a link because Im new but follow the instructions below and it will walk you through the update process via computer. I figure with a phone thats not working its worth a shot.
Go to Motorola's website and click the droid advert right on the left side of the screen.
Under the "Support" tab in the upper right hand corner is another tab called "Owner Support" click on that.
On the left hand side there are more tabs so this time click on "Update My Software"
It will give you a list of options, choose "Via Computer"
From here it will check your computer for their software and prompt you to download it. Its the troubleshooting software and it will ask you a few questions, its also what they use to update your software via computer so it may be capable of flashing your phone for you. Best of luck and let us know what the end result is.
I haven't tried either of these... but I'm about to start flashing a droid X to cricket and bookmarked these posts in case I mess something up. Proceed with caution as I have no first hand experience with these.
I'm still trying to get a handle on if the service programming parameters (the spc, MDN, MIN, SID, etc.) are updated as part of baseband updates, it sounds like they are since they are saying the device needs to be re-activated after applying either of these updates.
If a baseband update refreshes the service programming parameters here are the two ways I've found of updating the baseband:
Here's a link to a post for updating the baseband portion of your device (without updating the ROM):
http://alldroid.org/Default.aspx?tabid=62&g=posts&t=246
I don't know if this will work on a device that doesn't have a valid baseband prior to the update. Regardless, if your phone is bricked this may be a valid option to try.
There is also a 2.1 SPL file floating around which is the entire system image, the baseband and the rom. You will need to use rsdlite to apply this image to your phone. DO NOT APPLY THIS IF YOU ARE RUNNING FROYO.
So as I was en route to completing a full flash of my Droid X onto Cricket I couldn't get my web working. Two things I hadn't done were my autosh files and my NVRAM from whiterabbit.org I got my NVRAM file from whiterabbit and wrote it to the phone. it wrote. I restarted the phone and everytime it starts it goes to 1x , then up to 3g, then restarts. everytime. Just enough time to allow me to put it into airplane mode so that I can try to fix it. I didn't backup my NVram sadly so if anyone has a backup please send it my direction. It would be greatly appreciated. this is fixable since i can access my phone still.
-Update today-
Not sure if it means anything but i went into QPST and switched my Mobile IP behavior from mob+simp f/back to simple ip only and it and now it doesnt constantly restart i switched it to mobile ip only, same result, but data still isnt working yet. switching back to mob+simp f/back makes it restart it seems.n
Also noticed that when I turn on my wifi and I switch it to simple IP only it still puts me in a reset loop.

Did you also write the PRL to the phone after writing the NVRAM? Your PRL should be version 49027. mob+simp f/back will need to be enabled.
If you want to start over, you can SBF to .340 or use the maderstcok zip .340 and your DX will be up to date and fully stock.
I've used bootstrap and rom manager to go back to stock before altering web so that isn't an issue anymore. I've stopped trying the nvram. Everytime I enter the proxy info fully inthe phone manually the phone does the 1x 3g then reset loop. Im guessing something is forcing a reset but can't figure it out. I went into test mode once to force 1x only and keep out 3g but alas it still looped. Ideas? Im also installing log cat to see if maybe a log.can tell me why the phone soft resets during the.loop
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Im using prl 49027. I've narrowed it down to possible glitch. Upon entering the info for the proxy manually it goes into 1x then 3g then reader loop. Ivebeen using a stock backup to revert to prior tweaking so I can keep trying to figure this out if u have a exact method u use im all ears. Or just ideas. Im running out lol
Also one more thing, ive just entered in the proxy information manually via the cell phone and the phone hasnt given me a boot loop like it used to, still the internet isnt working yet so im going to go into QPST and see if just changing the mobile IP setting throws me into the loop again...EDIT: it sends me into a soft restart loop since its on mob+simp f/back again... catlog didnt show anything that i can see sadly. the soft restart forces the log to stop and doesnt show why it did.switched it back to mobile ip only and stopped the reboot cycle but no data at all ugh...
EDIT: used my backup again after the reboot cycle issue , found out that after i end up using a NVRAM i get the boot loop again...so in other words i unfortunately have to factory reset because i used the NVRAM addon, one thing i noticed was it updated 11 things, not 12. not sure why. moving on..

So you did this in QPST:
-----NV items from http://www.whiterabbit.org/android (you must generate this uniquely for your phone, go to the link enter [email protected] replace x's with your 10 digit phone number, make sure 2.7 is selected and download the file)
----Now go to the Memory tab. Under NV Items click Write. Browse and select
the NV Item file you generated earlier. Once its done it will say 12 NV
Items were successfully written to the phone
-----I used the PRL attached to do the OTA. (CricketEVDO_38515.prl). I had to put .zip at the end to upload it, so just rename it to CricketEVDO_38515.prl.
-----Now go to the Other tab. Under PRL click Write and browse to the destination you saved the attached file.
Let me know if this helps at all.
I sent NV items from the whiterabbit but this time it updated 12 items, not sure why it did 11 the first time. i also updated the prl to 38515 still no internet though, going into pst to see if the mobile ip behavior is the way its supposed to, update in a sec
UPDATE: phone was set to mobile ip only switched back to mob + simp f/back. and VOILA. 4:28am two weeks later and BAM internet and voice I will be writing a tutorial basing what ive learned into a stable 99% success rate for flashing droid x to cricket, ive only seen a handful out there and im sure i can hepl someone the way everyne has assisted me. thank you everyone. also just upgraded to 49027 prl for 3g and works great not enough 1x coverage where i live sadly.
first of all looking back I can see how daft/dumb/stupid it may look that I actually thought of doing this AND worse that I actually did it.
But yes I pushed a full TWRP backup (of my old ls980) onto my replacement (new) LS980 and did I quick backup to create the twrp folder and restore the backup from my old phone.
Most importantly is that it flashed the old (wrong) EFS and (awfuk!) the (wrong) imei/meid info.
first thing you know it triggers activate and "wrong sim card" "no network"
I panicked did a full wipe and rebooted.
##72786# update profile, prl.
same issues.
THEN after calling Sprint I see the IMEI/MEID numbers are all ending in zeros and not matching the label.
(not even 24 hours old....)
NO BACKUPS REFORMATED WIPED NOTHING FROM CORRECT PARTITIONS.
If someone could help explain what I done and IF the fone is worth fixing?
I tried to methods lgtools to correct the IMEI/MEID numbers and it accepts them says it worked and the numbers on the phone stay the same. I also tried zero-ing them out and it wont accept the zeroes either.
help ? or is it just another brick in the wall?
(i should have known better)
Alright, so I paid cellunlocker to unlock a new to me Note 3. Not blacklisted, everythings good on that end.
my IMEI shows as the correct number with two extra digits - not sure if thats my issue.
However I cannot connect to any mobile network. Well thats not true, I can see I'm connected to their tower but cannot get any phone calls, texts I just get the message on the screen.
I didn't back up my EFS partition, having 6 android phones so far all, rommed, and everything I never had to do that.
I understand its likely that this partition is messed up.
.. So how can I restore it?
I'm rooted, I'll install a recovery I don't mind any of that. however I do not have a backup of my EFS partition. Is there any way to extract this from a stock file?
Can I just use Kies or something to flash the entire software and restore this partition?
Seeking some guidance from the Note Experts.
Thanks,

- The extra 2 digits after the IMEI is the IMEISV. It is not the issue.
- The EFS partition is store inside your device, not in the stock firmware. Of course you can not extract it from the stock files.
- You can try to flash the entire stock firmware (using Kies or Odin). Sometime that may help to fix the problem.
Appears to be a case of delayed blacklist or something.
Didn't show up in any searches and not to my carrier, yet later now it does appear it is.
Now to return it to the carrier so they can get it back to the owner, and to track down the ass I bought it from.
I have a Note-4 T-Mobile variant(N910T), I have been using Xenon HD and then CM 12.1. After a while when I wanted to go back to stock, and when I flashed stock rom back, the phone was really laggy at first and during setup, there was a popup which said that Factory mode is enabled and I have to switch back to User mode before using it and after a few seconds it disappeared, this happens every time i reboot while in Stock Rom. Somehow after a few minutes, I get the WiFi on again but the keyboard gets stuck after a few presses and phone gets real laggy. After the setup I googled the problem and found out something regarding the EFS Folder, so I rooted it once again and installed ES File explorer and went into EFS and found that it was empty. I tried placing a phone call and it went through and I was also able to use LTE, but when I went to about phone to see IMEI, i saw that the IMEI was also correct, I even tried to setup fingerprints, but it kept saying me to reboot as something was wrong with the fingerprint sensor. Now the weird thing here is that when I am in a Non-touchwiz based Custom Rom, I do not find any lag or any of the problems mentioned above. I have tried these things already:
Going to EFS and switching Factory mode on, but as i told EFS folder is empty.
Backing up EFS from the custom and restoring when I'm in Stock(EFS is empty even in Custom too).
If anyone knows how to fix this, could you please help me?
Thanks!
Hi Sir,
I have the exact same issue as you on my Note 4... Did you manage to find a fix for this??
Please let me know..
Thanks
Hello Sir,
I managed to fix it... I used this guide...

Try it out... Credits goes to Steve Lazarus for that article.
after factory data reset my Samsung note 4 sm-n910f showing international and no sim now on notification bar and if so I insert sim n power on it shows invalid sim
