Now I'm no dev myself but I found this project and it looks really interesting. Seems to be a bit short on Dev support so I thought I'd post it here to see if it takes anyone's interest.
Looks to be java based so shouldn't be too hard.
???
What project? You seem to have left something out of your post. A link maybe?

loosely translated all you're saying is:
If we had a different device we would still have to wait for this...
Again you put up a thread in a forum it has nothing to do with. This is supposed to be about Touch HD Android Development, not an advertisement channel about stuff for different devices that might be available sometime...
and maybe... if your entire post fits in a 'tweet', maybe you should open a twitter account...

Yeah, amazing... Maybe what i was trying to say was this isn't supposed to be a "Coming soon to a theatre near you" forum.
I'm sure you and i are not the only ones who know how and where to find tiad8's website.
I come to XDA to see if there is something new, but lately most of the time in the Blackstone forum most new threads are all about OMG tiad8 says he's gonna do something!!!
That's Twitter-stuff, dude

i understand. sometimes i get all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-LbvFckptY from a certain announcement too, but i might not videotape myself dancing around the living room and post it
i mean, nothing wrong with enthusiasm, but i think it would be best to let the actual builder make the announcements and spread the word when there's something to test/try out for everybody
ok yankees2450 i will not read any post written by you a gain it's the second time you make me soooo nervous
what is the wrong with you man ???????????????????

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not saying anything about the man himself or his work, but i was trying to make a distinction between what belongs on a developers forum and what belongs on twitter.
Already available for download in tiad8.com. I'm loving it. .

Hello,
I have heard that android has been ported to C#.
While this is a big thing, the reason why I am sharing this is that the performance of the C# Android version is superior than the Java one.
So my question is that can it be ported to our Heros?
Here is the link to the blog post and the github:

Yeah, it sounds awesome, really Do you know if apps will b e compatible?
Edit: I think Nickoltus might be working on this?

Since is a translation from Java to C, I believe that the apps will run with no problem if a system is made to translate back from C to Java. Well, I guess that it will be a major step but we don't know if the drivers and all will be functional. All we have to do is wait
C and c# are two totally different languages. C# had more in common with java though. Sorry, just had to point it out
I guess it is possible to use it. But I'm a bit sceptical whether the graphs are fair
Cheers, R
what has to be done to build this for our heroes?
is somebody already on it?

"...see it"...or "...see me"
imo that's the point
If everybody started doing this, it'd be kind of ridiculous here... Unstoppable flooding of threads that should be replies... However, I guess it would at least it'd make it SEEM like things were moving a little faster in the HD7 forum.
The development forums are for sharing something you've developed and wish to support here. Not for reposting stuff so you can link to pay-per-click sites.
Thread Closed.
I dont know what this means for us because I am not a developer but I imagine this might help someone.....

Sure looks like a post saying it's released, linking to the news story about it. Don't see any release of anything here. Being related to development doesn't mean it gets posted here.

Quote from the page I linked directly to.... "you can grab the necessary files by simply clicking the right links below."
I wanted to throw this out into one of the dev threads for the new KitKat roms under development, but I'm too new to post there. Hoping someone with a little more seniority will post this over there if it is useful...
It sounds like there has been a roadblock with the display drivers for the Glacier and a new version of OpenGL (EGL) required in KitKat, causing black screens in some apps.
If any devs read this, I noticed they appear to have solved the issue over on the "[ROM][21-11-2013] AOSP KitKat 4.4 for Nexus S - alpha Build 3" forum. Its all completely greek to me, but it looks like from the threads that the CM team has figured out a workaround, and it sounds like it may not be phone specific.
Good luck! Thanks to all the devs for being awesome! Particularly Evervolv/elginsk8r, love the Evervolv 4.3, can't wait to update to 4.4!
Moderators, feel free to delete this if it is useless information. It looked positive, but I could be wrong.
Current still not have newer version to fix, So you need reference before update . This version not still stable, it's testing process. I think so!

Thanks for this information. I'm sure Coderzs and Elgin will look into it.
If you want you could try and swap out those drivers in one of the builds and tell us how it goes.

I would if i had a clue what I was doing. I don't understand the first thing about what they were talking about in that thread, other than "we fixed it!".
Page 40 of the thread mentioned above (can't link yet) will show what I mean. Here are some excerpts:
cdesai and klusark found a patch in the Chromium trunk which fixes the WebView rendering bug on PVR devices and backported it to the Chromium snapshot that's part of 4.4. (The fact that it's part of the mainline Chromium code also means that we shouldn't face this problem again when upgrading to future Android releases.)

I don't even know if that's a driver, or what... Or if it even relates to the Glacier.
All I know is it sounds hopeful!
