[Q] Bluetooth media audio problems - Droid 2 General

I've been having problems with listening to music over my bluetooth headset. Sometimes the music stops and when I press play again, it starts the song over. It's usually just a minor annoyance, but every so often it does it several times in a row within a few minutes, which is usually followed by my phone rebooting itself.
This has happened on both Fission 2.4.3 and the leaked Verizon Gingerbread prerelease, both of which I did a clean install on (factory wipe, cache reset, the whole deal). Anyone have anything similar? Or just me?
Headset is a Motorola Rokr, if that helps.

[Q] Bluetooth headphone issue - audio playback

Hey everyone, just upgraded to the atrix, loving the phone so far but I've recently come across an issue and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem (or can explain why it occurs):
when listening to audio I turn off the screen and about 2-5 minutes in (sometimes more, sometimes less) the audio just stops. The headset doesn't disconnect, the music just cuts out and when I bring up the music player and hit play it just starts it over from the beginning. However if I leave the screen on the entire time I'm playing audio, it never cuts out
I use a motorola S305 bluetooth headset, the files are .mp3 format and I've tried playing them from SDcard and internal phone storage..they played perfectly fine on my HTC HD2 with the same headset so it's not the files themselves or the headset. Anyone else have this issue?
Interesting. I noticed the same thing last night. Doesn't always do that, but I thought it was weird when it did. I'm using the same s305 headset.
I was just about to post this! it's so annoying. It will play fine forever until i turn the screen on to do something, then it turns off the audio like 3 minutes into the song. what's worse, it's not pausing it, it's stopping it. if you check the music player, the position on the song will be reset. very annoying for audio books!
I just tested it playing thru the phone speaker and it shuts off in about 3 minutes as well, doesn't seem to be related to bluetooth at all.
Is the player added to your ignore list in any task manager/killer?
Personally, i've tried 3 players, the stock music player,Mixzing and Poweramp. all three do exactly the same thing. No task killers installed, with the built in task manager, it's not added to the kill list. I'm rooted btw.
I am having a similar problem to this and I was just about to post, when streaming via bluetooth to my car stereo using Pandora, my phone will completely freeze and after maybe 1 min of freeze will do a complete reboot. I even restored phone and it still does it.

[Q] S5 Music App Crashes / Freezes

Got my new galaxy s5 a month ago. I use it to play music on my car audio system via bluetooth. Now when I am changing music through the phone or via the system the phone starts to freeze up, won't respond. Sometimes I can see the bar on the music carry on playing. So I can skip about 3/4 songs until it freezes up and then I can play some music after about 5 minutes of not touching it. I have cleared BT Cache, Dalvik Cache. When I first got the phone I moved over to ART but S health didn't work, so I switched back to Dalvik. Is it possible this could be the cause?

Issue with music playback (random beeps during playback and sometimes it mutes audio)

Hi. Im having this problem when Im listening to music with headset connected to the phone and randomly (I don't how to reproduce the bug) it will produce a short beep (1 second) and continue playing with no problems but in the worst case it will produce a long long beep (10-15 seconds) and then all system audio gets muted even though it shows as if it was playing. To fix it I have to restart the phone. This happened with Spotify. I tried doing a factory reset and install Spotify 5.8 only (so that I know that no other app is causing this) and it keeps happening. I also tried many headphones and earphones but they are not the problem, also happened with the phone connected to my car via aux cable. Do you think it is a hardware related problem with my 3.5mm jack or software related?
Even though those short beeps don't mute system audio they make YouTube desync video/audio for some reason so I have to restart the phone to get it working normally.
My device model is XT1644 4GB ram 64GB storage with build no. MPJ24.139-64 and stock Android 6.0.1.
I will try Google Play Music and see if the same happens... though I don't think that Spotify is the problem since I saw noone with this problem on the Spotify forum and I tried many versions of it.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

It has happened with Netflix, YouTube and also Google Play Music. Strange thing is that I left it all night playing (about 8 hours) and when I woke up I checked it and it was all good; then I started YouTube app to see if sync was OK and it was until 3 minutes approx. of watching a video when a short beep occured. After that I tried Netflix and a long beep occured (needed to restart phone). If it is a hardware problem then why it gets fixed with a restart? I find that hard to understand and even though it seems random I think it is being triggered by something on the Android system maybe... Why did the beep occur right after some minutes of using it when I woke up and not before while it was playing all night? Any other ideas to troubleshoot this?
Thank you!

This problem is out of subject.Would be better if you post this in the motorola forums.Just make sure you dont mention you have rooted or modded your phone otherwise they will blame rooting as culprit.

Music Audio Stops, but the Song Continues to Play

Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 / SCH-I545 model running android 5.0.1, VRUGOF1 firmware version, and when I am listening to music sometimes the audio will stop playing, but the music keeps going.
Things I've noticed:
-This happens both with headphones in AND without them.
-It can be temporarily fixed by Unplugging my headphones and plugging them back in ( or plugging in headphones and then unplugging them)
-It happens on different types of music file formats(M4A and MP3)
-There is no consistency in between the times that it happens
-It happens at every volume
-It happens on 3rd party music apps and on the default Samsung music player
-It doesn't happen while streaming videos
I have done a power reboot, I have cleared task cache, I have cleared system cache, I have factory reset my phone (3 times), I have tried doing this with and without updating anything. I have only found one other occurrence of this problem on the internet but the original poster never got an answer so I have decided to directly ask for help.

wired headphone crashes audio playpack

Hi,
my audio playback crashes reproducibly after seconds to minutes when i listen to music (play a video, make a call..) with any -> wired <- headset or headphones connected.
After that i have to reboot the phone to get audio working again; just unplugging headphones leaves the device also silent until next reboot.
The crash affects incoming call ringing, calls, anything related to audio.
I don't now when it started, must have been during winter time because Bluetooth audio playback works with no problems.
I'm unrooted and on stock rom. The OTA update to nougat did not solve the problem, either, as well as deleting cache.
Motorola support told me to reset phone before further support steps will be considered. I did not yet reset the whole phone, because i need it during traveling..
If anyone knows the problem, maybe related to an app,... let me know

Same thing here , stock or custom ROMs.FM radio works good but that's about it.
